The fries were also delicious, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.My server was friendly and attentive, and they made sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal. The cafe was able to accommodate our group of 9 on a Sunday morning (I called ahead). The restaurant staff did a great job despite how busy it was. They follow Covid restrictions well. The food was fantastic, prices are reasonable, lots of options, and the pancakes are massive!! Happy we thought to go here after finding out our usual breakfast spot in Carey is now closed on Sundays. Will definitely be back!

Avoid if possible. Based on the other reviews, my experience may be an anomaly but it wasn't great. First off there was only one server, and kudos to him because it was quite busy and he was keeping up.The atmosphere is very 'small town'. I got a lot of strange looks when I walked in, I almost thought I was in the wrong place. Nobod said anything, and apparently it's seat yourself. I stood there for a while just waiting for someone to say something, eventually I just sat down at an open table.The spaghetti was wet, and there wasn't enough sauce. The garlic bread was soggy due to the wet pasta. The salad was shredded lettuce and shredded cheese with stale croutons and an overdone boiled egg.Oh, you also don't know how much anything costs because the menu prices are inaccurate. You wouldn't know that unless you saw the little paper note they slid in the front of the menu, which is vague and doesn't seem legal. 🤔

Food was amazing. We all enjoyed it. Familiar American fare, large menu selection with loads of variety, in a family-friendly intimate setting. Staff was super nice. The place was VERY crowded at an unusual time of day for it, and the 2-person waitstaff did a great job scrambling to accommodate every single table being full when I'm sure no one expected such traffic. Food was 110% worth the wait!! Good, hot, hearty, home-cooked meals to order, for a VERY good price. What more could you want? 👍

Pizza ripper was over priced for 2 toasted bread with pizza sauce. I don't see me going there again. Girl working could barely care that I was there to eat. Didn't even bring napkins to table. I think little better training is needed for the staff.

Went there 8/24/22. Very clean. The waitress was super friendly. The food was very, very good. Best onions rings I've had in awhile. Prices were low. 2 dinners, 2 drinks, and an appetizer was only 26.00👍

We stopped here while traveling from WV to Michigan. The restaurant was very clean with great service. We had the special of Philly Cheesesteak and a reuben. Both were very fresh and tasty. The prices are good as well. Great place to stop.

They have the best all you can eat fish on Friday. A little more expensive then other places in the area but it is worth it. The place was packed when I left. Also they sell all different kinds of pie. Home made pie by a local lady. I stop often on my way home from work and get the warm peach pie a la mode. Too good! Great people work there. So you get great service.

Excellent fish on Fridays! Food is very good and service is great. If you're looking for something sweet stay away from the cream pies they're not good, gritty and awful tasting, we had chocolate, pumpkin and peanut butter these were the worst tasting pies I've ever had.

Generous portions of absolutely wonderful food! Great, friendly service. You can tell without a doubt the chef has passion and takes pride in what is served. Just a fantastic experience, can't wait to take my whole family for lunch and (personally) can't wait to try the breakfast!

Having heard great things about the Wildcat Cafe, we decided to check it out. We weren't disappointed! The food and service are second to none. I was impressed with the pride that our server and owner showed in their place and their community. I will definitely be going back to the Wildcat Cafe.

We've been coming here for a few years. The walleye dinner with fries and coleslaw was a favorite.But today was a huge disappointment. Was told by pm they had perch dinner tonight. The server didn't know anything about it.Prices on the menu are not what you pay. Huh???Your server has to look the item up on the computer to tell you the current price. I felt bad that our server was put in that position.So we opted for a$7.99 cheeseburger. No sides.4 chicken strips with fries $10.99.We drive 25 minutes to patronize this small hometown cafe but after tonight we won't be back.

Heard great reviews on their fish. They called it walleye but there was really no fish to eat inside the breading. Service was great and price was good.
