It's been a while since I shopped a grocery store in Van Wert, but I must say, this store is very well stocked, I did not see any empty spots on the shelves or freezer/refrigeration areas. It was a clean store as well!!! I found everything I had on my list, so yep, I was a satisfied customer.

The store smells bad and the stench hits you the moment you walk in. The meats here are usually starting to rot. The lines at checkout were long and it took the cashier way too long to call for a 2nd checker. Pluses include prices of most items are decent, easily accessible bathroom for public use, decent produce, and this is the only place around that I know of that carries the rectangular school pizzas.

I love save a lot just not the 1 older lady that works there.. she always screws something up on my order and I have to get it fixed.. if it wasn't the best save a lot around I'd go some where else but it IS the BEST 1 around!!!

I was in the need for inexpensive groceries, then to my surprise I seen a Sav a lot sign so I pulled in.They had many off brand products at a cheap price, who would of thought these stores existed.

I help other families in town and it's the next place to go buy meets five different kinds of meals meets five bucks each so for 20 bucks you can get all kinds of stuff package of 5 the store is clean people are nice and get help when you need it
