This place is a MUST VISIT for anyone who has aquarium fish, saltwater, or pets. They have the full supply of just about anything you would ever need. I have a 480-gallon fishwater, planted tank with a 100-gallon sump. Everything I wanted was there. I can't say enough about their staff, healthy fish, and professionalism. They packaged over $300 worth of fish I purchased and I never lost a single one. They also gave me great advice on a few things I needed help with. They were super helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to trade in a couple fish that had I had been told incorrectly the species from the store I originally bought them from. The girl that helped me was able to tell me what fish would be good for my aquarium and also what kind of plants would be good.

I was referred by my sister, had never been here before I have to say as I walked in the door I was pleasantly surprised I was greeted promptly by Josh told him what I was looking for. He asked me a few questions. We just happened upon this place while driving through the country and I am excited to announce that this is was the best aquarium store I have ever been to! I took 73 photos because I was short on time (and money)- but it's an honestly great staff and tanks and everything! 100s of tanks! Plan to spend an hour or two here.

I was referred to Aquatica after moving to Ohio from virgina, I needed a new Local shop to frequent with questions and patronage. I'm in no way a beginner to the hobby, and was very excited to see how much Aquatica really had to offer. The facility is wonderful, albiet small but packed with variety. Unfortunatley my experience with senior staff have been everything except pleasant. I can recall like yesterday just one experience, coming in for a simple liquid calcium solution (Seachem liquid calcium, commonly used to feed bony corals) and being met with, verbatim; "there is no magic potion." Another time I remember having to call them right after left with my livestock. Apparently one of their main livestock tanks was completely overrun by ich, and had i not quarantined my newest animal i would have lost every fish in my well established tank. Maybe it was my fault for not checking that their tanks were healthy, however I don't have this problem at RMS Aquaculture. Initially walking in and seeing a "hiring" sign made my heart leap! I'm a disabled college student with high functioning autism, and a job like is the perfect opportunity for me to learn job skills in a Familiar environment. I remember applying one of the first times I entered the store, I applied in person on paper and was told someone would get in touch with me. I frequent the store weekly for live food, just to check out the plants, sometimes even grabbing fish medication because the location is less than 5 minutes from me, but I never received an update. I even came in person to ask about my application only to be met with "we have alot of applications to get to"It's pretty disheartening to enter the store now, it seems like I meet a new staff member every day, and in the hundreds of times that I've entered the location no one ever let me know the job was filled. The sign is still outside the facility as well, as if they are still hiring. I've started to take the majority of my business nearly 40 minutes out of my way, to RMS Aquaculture, where the staff have proven to be helpful & kind and the facility is nearly 10x the size, with a larger variety of fish and plants at fractions of the cost, they also have a livestock garentee, unlike Aquatica.

Awful customer service. Used to go to this place about once a week b/c it was the only decent place to get saltwater products. Not anymore, store would not return a defective bucket of salt mix that left tons of undesolved minerals in my water. Said I had to call the manufacturer, that they don’t make the salt and it’s not their problem. Will be purchasing my products online from now on since I can actually get my money back if something is defective.

Great place. Nice selection of fresh and saltwater fish and corals. Prices are fair compared to elsewhere and online. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They never make you feel like your a bother as other places I have been seem to do.

Well I drove over an hour on Sunday in hopes of spending a few hundred dollars. Looked around very nice selection I will say that. But customer service was very poor. Waited for help for about 20 minutes then finally someone asked if I needed help. I said yes then he said well it’s going to be a while so I patiently waited even longer was there a hour and never received help on fish I wanted they had 2 to 3 employees helping one customer get a fish literally one fish it was a 12 inch or so shovel nose cat fish. But come on 3 guys??? I worked at my buddy pet store and caught big fish for people by myself . In like 5 minutes. On top of that they really had very little knowledge on what they are even selling. I know good employees are hard to come by these days trust me I know but this was really disappointing. Ended up going to rms aquaculture about 15 minutes up the road and got great help from knowledgeable people.

Aquatica is my favorite store for all of my freshwater needs. Saltwater folks, theres plenty for you here as well. It's a good hour drive for me but always worth the trip out, I never leave empty handed and often with more than I initially planned on buying. Stock occasionally changes, so every time I go I just can't resist looking in all the tanks. There are products everywhere, lined from floor to ceiling in most parts of the store.I do think the parking lot could be improved eventually, it can be very difficult to park and exit when the store gets busy. And when the store is busy, you can expect to wait a while. Be cautious of where you stand because the employees are running around. If you dont track down an employee to ask for assistance, you will be standing there for a good bit. Half the time the employees are already busy with another task, and will just ask you to wait anyways. No fault to them, the store can see some heavy traffic. Sometimes employees seem a little annoyed if I give them a large order, but most of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I plan on possibly getting one of their custom acrylic tanks, so I will update my review if that happens to include my opinion of it and the service. Always looking forward to my next visit 😁

One of the best things they offer is a great selection for parts and fittings as well as customizing for setting up tanks. Friendly and such helpful staff! Very clean place ! This is an amazing fish store. They have the best selection in the area for Fresh Water, Saltwater and even pond fish and other living creatures. I've been to others in the area and no one beats their selection and also quality. If you follow the fish acclimation instruction correctly and care for the fish, their fish live a LONG time. We've had great success with them.This best summer (2022) I started a saltwater aquarium and didn't know anything about it. Went here and got the BEST advice from the team. Everyone that works there is knowledgeable about fish, have their own tanks to talk to you about and are always willing to help you plan, problem solve, or learn more. I will keep going back to them for more information and fish.I have done a lot of price comparison on the equipment, and they are price reasonable well compared to what you can get online. They are not more expensive, and I like that I don't have to wait for shipping.Visit for their knowledge or their selection and you won't be disappointed. If you are looking for a specific fish, I do suggest calling ahead and asking if it's available. They will but you on a hold list if not.

Ok...so this place came highly recommended and we went out on sunday to check it out. Was looking for a fish tank cabinet and it was our last hope...Pulling into the lot was, well, underwhelming to say the least....gravel parking lot, stuff kind of 'around', the building looked just old...We opened the door to enter and, well, it was not what I expected...there is STUFF everywhere! Tanks, fish, filters, media, fish, rocks....EVERYWHERE! It was so cluttered in there! And dark... but all in a good way.They have everything you ever would need and any fish you could think of! And coral's and...and....and.....endless! All the way up to the ceiling! Literally.We left with everything we needed and more, and WILL be back next week to finish things up!!Thanks for the great customer service and, well, unique experience otherwise :)

Few months ago I took some fish in for some store credit they were 8 8in silver dollars, 4 regular and 4 red hooks which are pricey. They gave 80 for all of them when I bought the red hooks 90 (30 dollars a fish). I later came back to the store to see them sell both the regular and red hooks for 70 each! Kind of feel a little betrayed but I still want to work with them cause I value them as good store. The fish were there for just about 3 months i brought them there cause they would of been bought a while ago you just got them hiding behind all the clutter they aren't that big you already have a giant red hook there not for sale.

This is by far THE Best Aquarium store around. They have everything a serious hobbyist would ever need ! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The stock of merchandise is equal to none....and the fish selection is unbelievable. It is worth the drive to the country to experience this store and staff. No need to go elsewhere!

I visited the store and was very impressed by it. The reason of my visit was to order a custom made aquarium stand for a 125 gallon tank. I made a deposit in May. Today is the middle of August and I still don’t know when it will be finished. I am not even sure it will be a good quality product after having such a disappointing experience. I will adjust my review later based on a resolution of this situation. At this point - I will discourage anyone from going there for your custom orders - you will waste your time and money.

Aquatica is the best! Healthy livestock and clean tanks. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The owner, Steve, is fantastic. If you need anything aquarium related, Aquatica has it.The selection is great. Abundant saltwater and freshwater livestock. From corals, to plants, oddball fish, and aquarium basics, Aquatica has it all. I have been to many fish stores in Ohio and other states such as California, and Aquatica is by far the best store.

We have been here a few times now. We have purchased fish and a pleco, as well as slate for our axolotl tank and for our gourami tank.They have fresh water and salt water animals.They have live coral, tanks, stands, decorations, filters, fish food, knowledgeable staff and a dancing bird for entertainment as well! Prices are not bad as well.Highly recommend!

The people at this place are not as knowledgeable as they seem. The advice I was given, which was followed to a T, resulted in a fish which was in perfectly good health dying, still an issue with snails, my frog on the brink of death and a major alge problem. I would not seek any advice from them. I had already done extensive research on what I needed to do and was swayed in a different direction, which I told them I didn't think was going to work. The worst happened! Will NOT be returning!
