Oh my... Well, let's start by mentioning that this location is not handicap accessible.🚫♿🚫None of the aisles are ever cleared out enough to safely get through. No wheelchairs will be able to fit down the aisles.Also, this is purely speculation, but I'm pretty sure that over half of their backstock is currently being stored in the aisles and packing the hallway by the bathrooms.Alot of the shelves are depleted, so finding items easily will not be an option. You'll also be lucky if you even find what you came for.The place is just mayhem.No order whatsoever.I had a manager try to help with a botched transaction, and she was using profanity because she couldn't figure out how to fix it.I thought it was actually pretty funny really, but there are alot of customers who would have been offended.This place looks like someone just threw merch in the back door, and if it landed on the shelves, why that's just coincidence.It REALLY is as if this Dollar General store was plucked from the ghetto of Detroit.I must say, I still go there. I will continue to go there because there are no other affordable choices outside of Walmart's labyrinthine abyss.I personally don't think it's that bad. You will find some good deals. It's just hit or miss if you're looking for an exact item, and don't count on any help.

Went for a few items. While taking pics for Google an employee approached me and asked if I needed help. I replied "No, I'm just taking some pictures for Google." She walked to the end of the aisle and mocked me to another employee and then proceeded to the front where she loudly said "See what we have to deal with?"Uncalled for 100%. I gave a few words back and then she hid in the back until I left. I was not interfering in anyone's shopping or otherwise. It was just flat out rude.

This store is always a mess with stuff on the floor and it doesn't look clean what soo ever and that why I stopped going there years ago I want to the one on Main Street and it's alot cleaner and the employees act like they care

Add milk to the items they don't stock. There was literally a cart of milk sitting just like the carts of boxes everywhere. It's basically self service so it doesn't surprise me but still.

This store could be alot better. I'm sure like alot of places it's uderstaffed. I'm surprised the fire department doesn't shut it down due to product constantly being in the aisles. I still go there for a quick item because it is close to where I live. I'm rooting for this place to get cleaned up. Note: I've called district managers as well and nothing has ever been done.

Outside parking lot is trashy as well as the landscaped area. Looks very ghetto and unappealing and is a constant eyesore. Maybe since we are checking out our own purchases staff could take 30 minutes and tidy up outside?

Staff is friendly and helpful. But it always seems like they need more staff since there are constantly boxes and stocking carts in the way of the tiny aisles. Always has empty shelves in areas like laundry detergent/cleaning supplies where I assume coupon people have wiped it out.

I love Dollar General! Save money on things for your household that have become so expensive. Trash bags, paper plates, detergents, and diy decor. Crafts and food, snacks and drinks. Always fun to find new treasures each week.

I quit going to this store years ago because it is always a mess! Carts of products packed in every isle. Empty shelves. The shelves that aren't empty are very disorganized. Well, I went in tonight because I've heard they had new management and there has been no improvement. It is still a disaster. I normally love dollar generals but this one is consistently in poor shape. I don't know if they're just always understaffed or what. But I do know if I was the store manager or district manager I'd be very embarrassed to call this store mine.

Lately, it seems as though everytime I shop there are blank spaces where a lot of the sale items are missing. Dodging metal carts with product on them that needs to be stocked. I only see 2-3 employees (usually 2) working on different tasks. One of those employees has to run the cash register and stock.I have to say that any time I have asked for help, usually to find something, whichever employee that I approach helps me without a problem and shows me where the item is located.Customer service is exceptional. The employees take that extra minute to make the customers feel at home. Greeting regulars by name, or remembering the cigarettes that you smoke. Sometimes giving you ideas in how to save on shopping.Dollar Generals digital coupons are wonderful. If an item is on sale but also has a manufacturers coupon, the savings are great. They do not limit, as far as I know, the amount if coupons you can download to your account. They have their competitors beat in that respect. Plus, you get a coupon at checkout for the coming .Saturday, where if you spend a certain amount, I believe it's around $10, you get $5 off your purchase.I suggest that management should consider extra employees to stock shelves after deliveries, and before and after rush times to keep sale items stocked.All around, the customer service and digital coupons make shopping there a very pleasant experience.

The management is horrible there's always stuff in the aisles very rude customer service and it always out of what I need. Always on theirphones horrible customer service Management's rude can barely walk to the store cuz there's always stuff all over the place and please are never on the registers they're always doing something else there's always a line

The Dollar General store here used to be great. Now it is messy and not stocked properly. They also very under staffed. When I visited this store the other day there was rack after rack of new unopened stock in the aisles. It was pushed against the shelves. If you needed something that was located behind the racks of unopened new stock you were just out of luck. Please Dollar General don't be so cheap. Hire some more help and get your groove back.

Staff was nice easy to find stuff. The isle ways were actually cleared so you get threw....only major complaint no price tags on alot of items! I asked a lady for help she ignored me walked right past me! The gentleman and the lady who cashed us out was friendly to a point but the gentleman was 100% on point!

This store has always been dirty & stuff in aisle ways. Only go there if I have to. Today there were several young men there hustling & stocking the shelves. Looked better than I've seen it since it was new.

Every time I come into this location, it smells like cigarette smoke. I'm not sure if the employees smoke in the back or what, but I don't want to smell cigarettes in a store. Also, the shopping basket were so filthy and black, I wouldn't even touch one. There are always boxes and carts blocking aisles. Absolutely disgusting.

My experience today was definitely NOT a positive. I have had the Dollar General digital coupon app for quite some time now. Recently, I got a new telephone number on my cell. Upon attempting to utilize the coupons I had chosen, the machine would not accept my new number. When I tried the old number, the machine continued to fail to download. I asked the cashier if she could somehow input the coupons from my phone. She continued ringing up the purchases that the digital coupons were meant for without so much as a polite response. She simply said that the number would not download and charged the price before the coupons. My cousin and I shop at Dollar General for several different products things a few times a month. due to the bargains and coupons. We both subsist on Social Security, so every penny counts. This may seem a petty greivance to many, but to those of us with such limited budgets, we have to watch our dimes and nickels. I knew that she could check my purchases against the list of coupons marked on my phone. Another clerk had done it for me a previous time when to machine failed to download. When I asked her again, she said it was too late, we would have to pay the higher price. She then refused to answer any additional questions and turned her attention away from us to the mouthy man behind us in line. I was appalled. She acted as if we didn't matter. I am sure your company knows that without your most loyal customers, your workforce becomes obsolete. I don't think I will be a customer there any longer.

Every single time I've went in there, it gets worse and worse. So messy and employees don't want to put anything away!!! I feel sorry for the store manager (NOT THE ACTING ONE) Steve because he ran this store 110% better. Unfortunately his health isn't 100% for him to go back to work. Sure miss him!!

This place was filthy. Floors had trash and dirt every where. Product and boxes on floors in every isle. Unorganized and empty shelves. Freight on carts in isles making.it very difficult to shop. This not only is unacceptable it's very dangerous and is a safety hazard not on the someone disabled as myself but anyone in general. I was so disgusted I asked to speak with the manager on duty about this problem. She assured me there is a team coming in for help them this week to get it cleaned up and they are also hiring more associates.Let's hope so because next time I will be calling corporate.

They have just about anything you need or want under one roof without walking through a superstore and have a fair selection and low prices. I love their cleaning products and household needs like bathroom towels, washcloths, kitchen towels and pot holders and oven mitts. Also sandals & flip flops & sport shoes for kids & they have plenty of seasonal toys, games, and puzzles.

I don't know what happened to the Urbana store. For the last 9 months the store has been a mess. Empty shelves. I complained about things not being stocked and shelves being empty and the reply I got was must be a computer error cause we don't do the ordering the register does. Well you must have some thevies then cause your shelves are very empty. I've been coming to this store for over 20 years and here lately I have to go to Walmart cause you don't have in stock what I need. About to cut Dollar General out all together. Poor staffing and management...

Decent pieces, friendly staff, however they do not have a good store layout, they do not keep their parking lots clean in the winter during snow and ice, and the isles are so cluttered and congested that you can't get through them. Oh and not to mention that two carts can't even pass each other because the isles are too narrow

This store is so crammed full of inventory that needs put away, don't even try getting a cart to push because you wont fit down any of the aisles. The clothing and home goods aisles are always a complete wreck with everything thrown on the ground.

Barely okay. They had ants crawling all over the shelves where the flavorice and juice is. The floors are always packed with merchandise and you can never get a cart through.

I just moved to Urbana. I've visited this store 3xs. Nothing is ever on yhe shelves, and i mean just common stuff such as light bulbs shampoos conditioners. This store is always dirty can't walk down the asles line is long and i never see a second person stocking shelves so why can't they be up front when theres 6 to 8 people standing in line? En9n is thebest store ive ever been in

Everytime I have tried to shop here, it looks like a herd of children stopped to play. The toy aisle was mostly on the floor. Much of the aisles are untidy. Boxes of full product stacked on the floor. The staff tries. It is too much.

This store is a trashy mess every time I go in. Last time I bought ice cream bars that were half melted in the box and the night shift manager was rude to me about it. I was back within 5 minutes after my purchase and she acted like I had them out in the sun all day. Stock everywhere and employees/ manager always outside on the phone smoking. Never going back.

Card reader wouldn't read my daughter's card. The cashier couldn't cancel the order.she went outside to get the other girl. My daughter and I left. The other cashier was still outside talking to some guy.
