I just have to say, I was surprised to see that our vet clinic only has just over 4 stars... But after seeing the low rated reviews and thinking about them from both sides-- I now understand. Honestly, there's no such thing as a perfect vet clinic. You WILL have a bad experience if you go anywhere long enough -- if you don't, you're extremely lucky. With that said, I have yet to see a bad review for this vet clinic that warrants a low review rating -- all of them are completely polarized experiences, some aren't even clients and pretty much all of them are emotionally based. We personally go to Dr. McAndrew and have truly enjoyed our experience there. Never have I felt that this clinic was money hungry. Never have I felt that the staff was rude. Never have I felt that they didn't care about myself or my pup. Honestly, I see how much work the staff here are putting in. I've personally witnessed their compassion when our pup wasn't supposed to make it to one year old. I love how laid back or relaxed the atmosphere is for one that should logically be more high-strung (given the line of work). This is, no doubt, a difficult line of work to be in-- not to mention dealing with animals that have varying levels of discipline/training and the owners with the same. I think this staff could use some grace and common courtesy! Y'all are doing great-- don't let those few bad comments get ya down! Our family personally is very grateful for all you've done for us and our furry little boy. Because of y'all, he's still alive at age 4 when he wasn't supposed to make it until 1... Let that bolster your confidence! Thanks guys!! Keep up the good work.

A wonderful place to go for great vet care. Also when I lost my last dog Coco bean they took such good care for her during her life and after. Giving you a room that was wonderful to sit with your dog and grieve. I would recommend all the vets.

The best veterinary clinic we have taken our dog Brady to. Dr. Padayao and his team were amazing and Brady is recovering so well after his surgery. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Brady. We will highly recommend this clinic to all our friends.

I've had to put two beloved pets to sleep there and they are the kindest, most caring and understanding group of people you could ever meet. They treat you and your pet with much dignity and respect. Even though it was past closing time, they gave us as much time to say goodbye as we needed.Their new facility is very nice.

The fact this place has a 4 star rating blows my mind and they should be thanking their lucky stars it's that high from people who don't know any better after also receiving nearly TWENTY 1 star reviews. I checked.I'll give 1 star for how nice the facilities are, but I've got to deduct several stars for feeling like I'm speaking to a used car salesman trying to sell me anything they can, even when it's not necessary, and for the people there trying to guilt you or shame you into buying it. They try to charge absurd prices for tick meds, try to get you to get unnecessary vaccinations, lie and tell you certain tests are REQUIRED every annual vist there when they AREN'T, try to pre charge you for a cup to put your stool samples in, and charge DOUBLE for appointments and antibiotics compared to other nearby veterinarians I've found. They are all about money and not about your pet. I also have to deduct stars for how far out their appointment schedule is, and for them wanting you to show up 15 minutes early, only to keep you waiting in an 85 degree room for 15 to 20 minutes PAST when you were actually scheduled to be there. Their parking lot has 3 customers in it and you can hear 6 of them chatting it up and laughing in the back having you sit there and wait while listening to them.Overall, there are better places nearby that are far less expensive with shorter wait times that don't push any products they can on you to make money. I'd say where, but I like the convince of getting right in, so if you read this, shop around. My last appointment with my new vet was $7 LESS for the appointment AND the meds compared to JUST the same prescription alone at this place.To give an example of how rude and self entitled these people are, I even found a review where they talked trash to the lady who lives next to them. Imagine having the audacity to talk trash to the people leaving you bad reviews with legitimate complaints? Zero responsibility from these people. Crazy.

This place is the most amazing Vet Clinic. I recommend to anyone with a pet. Dr Auer, Nikki and Jessica are amazing and treat our Juice with such love it brings me to tears. When Nikki & Jessica saw he was on the schedule, they had to come in and give him love. That is what makes us love and trust this place. ❤️

Uniontown Vet Clinis has been absolutely amazing to work with. After a terrible experience at a previous vet that traumatized my Rottweiler, they have been so patient and kind. They have been working to undo the damage with each visit and I am just so appreciative for all the efforts of each staff member. Ruby even gave out kisses today!! They will try any approach it takes to earn the trust of their patients. Thank you all so much for the outstanding work you do.

I am completely satisfied with the overall experience my senior dog and I experienced. The entire staff was very helpful, friendly,and compassionate. I saw Dr Simmonds and she is a very caring and compassionate doctor. My fur baby is 14 years old and I knew going in there that I probably don't have a whole lot of time left with her. The doctor was very thorough with her and we came up with a plan to make the most of the rest of the time that she has with me be the best that it can be. I highly recommend this clinic. And I want to say again thank you to the entire staff you guys are awesome!

We have four fur babies, one of whom is diabetic. So we have had many occasions to visit the vet over the past 18 months. The staff is caring and friendly and accountable. Dr. McAndrew, Dr. Gainey and Dr. Meluch have been caring, attentive, patient with questions, and have taken excellent care of our babies. We are indebted to Dr. McAndrew for his thoughtful care of our diabetic dog. Every single vet tech is loving and great at what they do. I highly recommend Uniontown Vet.

We've been here fairly often in the last two years between our two cats and one dog, and they do the best they can but no one is perfect. However, the one time I had a bad experience with them they acknowledged and apologized for it, so I think that says something about the character of the staff. I don't find their prices to be higher than other full-service vet offices. If you need to save money on basic care, there are plenty of walk-in clinics in the area. But if you need specialized care for your pet, Uniontown Vet Clinic can handle it. The doctors give great advice, answer questions, and will spend time explaining things.

Great people to care for your pet! I love Dr. Gainey. He cares about the pets he treats. They took awesome care of my Ana who was hit by a car. I was out of the state when we had a rainy week and my fence gave way. When she was found my daughter took her to Uniontown Vet and they took such great care of her. Needless to say my week out of town ended up being a day and a half! Wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else!

The staff at Uniontown Vet Clinic goes above and beyond! I had to bring my two children (under the age of 3) with me to the appointment for our dog. They provided excellent service for our pup, explained every step they took helping to diagnose his tumors AND they helped with my children while I paid, and while my oldest had to use the restroom. They provided truly excellent care and helped this frazzled mom out more than they could know!

I have a VERY reactive dog (she is a rescue). I've have tried a few clinics in the area, all of them either charge double to see her or send me away because she's to difficult. I finally found this clinic. They agreed to see Jasmine and they did not have an extra charge for aggressive dogs. The first appointment went very poorly (as expected) but instead of telling me to find another clinic they scheduled me for another appointment a few weeks out. They gave me a few meds to help with her anxiety.The next appointment went great, they were able to get all of her shots and we even got her scheduled for a spay. The vet staff was amazing and for the first time I didn't feel embarrassed or guilty for her behavior. Even the other customers were pleasant, they gave Jasmine her space and not one person gave a dirty or made any offensive comments.They worked with me in order to minimize stress as much as possible. When I dropped her off to get spayed I informed them of her issues and we went through my concerns about her waking up after the surgery. They did her surgery first and allowed me to pick her up right away.Special thanks to Dr.Grumman and technicians) for her patience during our appointments and Dr. Simmonds for preforming her surgery. I highly recommend this clinic.

Terrible customer service!!! Vet tech named Jess said that our dog should be put down and refused to do the laser treatment which the vet prescribed. She said the treatment was ineffective. The vet was was also rude and accused us for being rude. She lied and said she had seen our dog before which she hadn’t. Another tech was brought out to do the treatment. If we ever get another dog, it will never go to uniontown!!! Our Ruby is 17 years old… healthy and happy.She can’t walk because of dislocated hip.

I would definitely recommend this vet clinic. My ma wanted me to find the best vet forher Chihuahua to have teeth extractions done and this is the Place .My ma was so surprised her dog was eating, drinking and active right out of surgery because I have 2 other Chihuahuas of my own that I took to another vet for extractions and they came out of surgery looking like they got hit by a car and wouldn't eat for days. If my dogs need to go to the vet again, I will take them here. They aren't over priced for the awesome work they did. If you want cheap prices you will get cheap work and we want only the best for our Furry babies. Thank you for the excellent work!

Awesome staff! And I also have to tell everyone that I had my dog spayed and it was the best experience I've had with that to date! My dog healed without any redness swelling or itching! It was amazing because other experiences I've had with other places was lots of cleaning of the incision along with redness and itching.💯 Would recommend Uniontown vet to everyone!

We unfortunately had to lay our 7yr old baby to sleep and the staff was so compassionate and loving. We got to be in a livingroom type room with are baby. We got to give him a chocolate kiss because no one should go to heaven with a piece of love. We got to spend as much time with him as we wanted after he was gone. Was a loving caring experience and I couldn't have asked for better

We have been going there since 1988. It was great until Dr. Baltic left. There is no compassion there, they just care about the money! I took our dog in for her glands to be cleaned. I was told they would call the next day, they didn't. I called to get her in because that didn't fix her problem. They said no openings even after I told them what they said they would do. I ended up taking her in anyway thinking they would take a look at her. The vet didn't even come out to look at her. They can't take 3 minutes to help you!!! We have referred several people there, and 2 of them stopped going there because they had issues with vets.I believe we want caring and compassion when we go in to take care of our animals. This vet no longer has that.

I scheduled a nail trim for my dog which I do every month. When I got there at 8 AM for my appointment I was told she needed a rabies shot. This is the first time this is happened and she gets a nail cut every month. However, when I scheduled the appointment last week, not a mention of this and the day before the appointment when they called to confirm they didn’t mention it either. Just terrible customer service.

I took our 16 week old pitbull puppy for the first time this week to get established with the vet. I was so impressed with how sweet and patient the entire staff is as well as Dr. Joe Gainey. He listened to my concerns and gave me actual solutions to try and didn’t make me feel like an overbearing pet parent. I feel we made the right decision choosing Uniontown Vet Clinic for our fur baby.

The worst veterinarian that you could ever possibly go to.In response to your comment I have a few points. Your parking lot was not full. Your employee parked at the end of our driveway blocking it along with half of the road and didn’t come out to move it until an hour after I called. The owner of the residence needed to leave and could not. I love that you just pointed out that your own neighbor (who has 4 cats and a dog) refuses to be a client at your establishment. We would rather drive 40 minutes away than walk across the street. Plus, we have taken our animals there in the past. So not only do I know first hand how horrible the service is and how ridiculous the prices are but I’ve also been able to observe how disastrously your business is run. If any behavior shouldn’t be tolerated it is allowing your staff or employees to park in the road at the end of a neighbors driveway, especially when we have attempted to communicate several times about the inappropriateness of it. This wasn’t just one occurrence. You and essentially all of your staff have been completely disrespectful in regards to our property for years. In the beginning we were patient and understanding and all we received was a total lack of concern for our frustrations as well as blatant rudeness. For calling yourself the Uniontown veterinarian you’d think you’d have more of a regard for the residents of Uniontown.

I almost never write reviews, but I felt driven to write about Uniontown Veterinary Clinic because of how wonderful they have been to both my puppy and me! Dr. Auer and the rest of the team are always so kind, patient, and caring. They have taken extensive amounts of time to talk with me about the many concerns and struggles that have developed regarding my standard schnauzer puppy. During these extensive visits they never make me feel rushed or burdensome; instead, I always feel heard, understood, and validated. Thank you Uniontown Veterinary Clinic!

This has been, by far and away, the worst vet experience we've had for our 9 year old dog.We scheduled an appointment for him to be seen because he was coughing and sick. The vet who saw him only provided a steroid, but scheduled $800.00 worth of tests two weeks out. Five days later he stopped eating. My husband showed up with the dog, who is wheezing and struggling to breathe, only to be "squeezed in". The vet who saw our dog was very concerned and did a chest x-ray. The results were such that she couldn't tell whether the dog had a fungal infection or cancer. She prescribed an anti-fungal medication and two antibiotics. $500 and $200 in medications for that visit.The dog is still barely eating but is recovering. The office called us this weekend to check on him, and said they'd schedule a follow up appointment, but it's Thursday and haven't heard from them. We left them a message this weekend regarding our dog, we still haven't heard from them.We have an appointment Monday for the "tests" the first vet scheduled. Those should net us another $500.00 by the time it's said and done.Pricey-haphazard service.Definitely - find a different office. I know once our dog is well or we have the prognosis, we will.

We had our first appointment today 7/27 for our labradoodle puppy. Dr. Blankenship and Chelsea were so nice and personable. They treated our puppy like he was their own. Our appointment lasted a good 35 minutes. Very thorough! Thanks!
