How many loaves of bread do they throw away because they aren’t sliced? Slice your fresh bread, nobody is paying the outrageous price for a loaf that they have to go home and slice themselves. Bagel prices have also become expensive, better off going to a bagel shop and buying them, and they’re fresh.

This store is amazing! Beautifully and thoughtfully arranged in meaningful sections with great products, foods and beverages. Dry aged meats available, whole fish, wonderful cheese selection, huge beer selection, established wine department, organic bulk flours and baking needs. Just about everything you could want is in this huge store. Oh yah, they have a Starbucks, too!

I was working on black Friday & while dropping a passenger off at Giant Eagle I ran in to get pop & my favorite ice cream, Friendly's black raspberry, that I've only been able to find at this location. Unfortunately they were out of my ice cream flavor & the 2 liters were priced for more than I wanted to spend, so I tried a different flavor of ice cream & grabbed a couple of the pints of pop because they were priced better. Once I got to the register the cashier informed me that they were having a sale on 2 liters for .99. She waited for me to run back to grab the limit of 10. She also told me about the sale on bacon for $1.99 & let me go grab 2 packs. My entire order went from $45 & change to $16 & change. I wish I remembered her name because she gave customer service like I haven't received in a very long time. She was thin, had long brown hair & is possibly in her 30s. I wish all service workers treated their customers like she does!

For the bakery, spend the extra money to get a cake at a local place. Very disappointed with the service. We were told the day before the event that our request couldn’t be completed as they were unable to create a colored batter for a gender reveal. Also, the pink and blue stripes along the side were blue and redThis is a 4th of July cake, not a gender reveal. So disappointing

Much better selections in this area. See many things u don’t get to see in other supermarkets. My first choice now, even it’s a little far for me.

Can't use self checkout without their card and the regular checkout is very slow due to; only one or two lanes open, older customers fumbling around, and issues with the cash/credit machines.

This Giant Eagle has a Chinese cook that stir fry meat and veggies of your choice on the spot. It carries a variety of beauty merchandise including organic products. There’s a section of bulk foods like teas, nuts, spices, vinegar, oil, etc. For wine lovers, they do have aisles of them to choose from.

I generally do not give bad reviews. I have been slowly shying away from Giant Eagle for sometime now Uniontown or North Canton. Last night sealed the deal for me. I was in there around 8:45pm (Uniontown Market District location) WHAT A MESS. There was not one associate in sight, they had 3 regular lanes going (but wait when you get there it is unmanned self check out) with about 10 other regular self check outs going. When I was done grabbing the quick things I needed I ended up at 3 different registers, I counted 7 lanes had flashing lights needing someone. One women got so mad she left. I am almost positive another walked out without paying for their things. These companies want to save money on Labor costs but their theft and loss of customers are going up so much. They just DONT care about the 1-2 employees scheduled last night and on top of that they don’t care about you. I will go elsewhere from now on. (Won’t miss their prices either)

Over price the employees really are the laziest people they constantly close the self checkouts way early and are very rude

I have shopped here for 6 years now since moving here. The service has gone down tremendously and the prices up just as tremendously. Giant eagle is supposed to be a nicer grocery store, if not the nicest in town. Not even close. Very disappointed. Will take my money elsewhere.

This review is mainly for the curbside pickup. Just wanted to say how wonderful Marisa was on the phone when I just called. Very friendly and nice. Excellent communication skills. It’s super early in the morning and while most people aren’t that friendly this early she was excellent! Just thought the bosses might like to know what pleasant person they have answering the phone! Nicest person that I’ve talked to in a long time! Definitely deserves a raise!

It's always worth it to go to a Market District version of GE over their regular stores; the store is larger and has more offerings, including several made to order food stations if you want to get food so you don't "hungry shop".I recommend the sushi; for grocery store sushi, it's very tasty and fresh and priced fiarly.

Whenever I go there, there are only 2 checkouts with a cashier. I don't mind that at all but there are things that I purchase that I feel I need a cashier. I often buy the 6 bottles of wine for 10% off. I always need someone to do the 10% discount. Then this last trip I purchased the Cupcake Chardonnay. It was listed as $8.99 and they charged me $9.99. I purchased the Sonicare replacement toothbrushes and the had a security lock on them so I needed help with that. I stoped at Walgreens after that and found the same toothbrushes for $10 cheeper!!!!At the same time, I had the most amazing cashier - Portia! She was so kind and apologetic! She was at the first cashier, so far from all the self check out. She had to flash her sign twice to have someone help me and she had to flash for help with the previous customer. It was VERY disheartening to see that no one was paying attention!! I had to go and ask a manager to help us!!!!!! At the end of it all, I stopped at the service dest to express my concern for the non attention to Portia and found it was the same manager that didn't pay attention. I left!! What was the point? GE, take care of your Special Needs employees!

Probably the most impressive Giant Eagle I have been to. I love that they have a couple restaurants on the inside. A nice meat department. One thing I like is the peanut butter making machine they have here. Let's you make fresh peanut butter for purchase.

Always able to find a meal hot or cold here at this market district. Very friendly and fresh veges and fruit, great meat. Plenty of cash registers are open. A Starbucks is inside as well as a Liquor store and pharmacy.

I love this grocery store. The selection is always good, especially of gluten-free items, and the staff is always super helpful. Sarah helped me find something today in the frozen section and was so kind! I appreciate how efficient and nice the cashiers are as well! Thank you for being amazing everyone!

, Giant Eagle Market District as one of the best produce selections of stores in the area. They also have an excellent selection of Asian and Latin spices, condiments, and other Foods.

I used to live and work in Green, and this place was the best. Went back for the first time in 4ish years and things aren't the same anymore. Still a nice grocery store, but the quality has dipped. And their food court is completely gone. Hot, fresh options replaced by pre-made cold food

Great food to go. Prices here have gone way up. Almost double the price for the same items pre pandemic.

There's never enough full-service cashiers and never nobody at the customer service desk they're always out busy having to do other things I just feel if they're not going to have people there for the customers and maybe they should just go to everything online everybody order and then you guys come out bring the food out to the car. Thank you

Curbside pickup is frustrating everytime I use it. There’s always things wrong with my order and a lot of the time I’m missing things that they did not tell me were out of stock. I got home tonight and I was missing 3 things that I absolutely need for tomorrow and was never told they were out of stock or offered replacements. So back to the store I go…

Great place always clean always stocked. A great variety of EVERYTHING.I often use the curbside delivery and have had many occasions speaking to Nick who works in that department. He is one of your best assets. He knows how to keep things going, he knows how to handle go wrong. He is incredibly mannerly. Please give him a pat on the back because he really deserves it!!! Thank you nick for all of the great service.

Horrible people at Wadsworth location. Overcharged me on pick up by almost $44. Did not give me the sale price. When I call, they are unbothered, smart mouthed and told me to go ahead and call corporate, they would just send them back to me. I have wasted a week chasing my money and will now file a chargeback with my bank. They have zero customer service or support. I will no longer shop here.

Shopping at this store is a waste of a drive and is just a giant 'window shopping' center, can look but not purchase. Every time I go to the deli to get lunch meat and cheese it's always closed. In fact one employee said it closes at 5pm. It is really inconvenient and ridiculous that they cant stay open longer. Not everyone in the world can be there when the deli is open. The meat and cheese that sits out in the cooler is not fresh and concerning to one's health. And putting the sticker over the zip lock bag zipper is ignorant and rips the bag for the lunch meat and cheese. Not to mention they used to be open until 8pm, then it became 6pm, and now 5pm?

Pharmacy staff are inept, negligent, sloppy, and lie to customers. Not very many medicines are kept on site. they have to order many drugs from its corporate headquarters in Pennsylvania. The staff are poorly trained and they don't have any interest and sensitivities toward customers, especially elderly.

The Giant Eagle in Green is a great store to shop for just about anything. The prepared foods and hot food counters making shopping for dinner quick and easy. The store is pleasant enough to eat in, too, with two-seat tables for private dining or long tables for a group. We love to browse the wines and can count on the wine steward for a great suggestion. The bakery offers a wide variety of tempting choices. Shopping for crafts beers and exotic oils and spices is another reason we enjoy this store. There's more to say, but I recommend visiting for yourself!

Normally a very nice experience. I was a bit surprised but the employee moral seemed to be at all time low. Maybe we caught them on off day but really was poor customer service. I would also like if they could keep their food service open until 8. The kids eat free Tuesday is really nice deal and opportunity to take family out to eat. We come from the Green YMCA after swim lessons but getting there before 7 can sometimes be tough
