I went there today to buy supplies. I found what I needed. I went to the checkout lane that had the lit-up light there was no employee. I waited for 5 minutes. No employee ever came. While I waited, I searched on Amazon for the supplies and found them cheaper. While I was waiting another lady came in with an Amazon Return. As she walked in an employee walked up and greeted her and and told her to goto the register next to me. As I continued to wait a clerk came in and took her her Amazon return. I clicked purchase from Amazon and left. The end result was Amazon received a purchase and return and Staples received nothing. This is not a good business model

I tried calling the store in Troy at 8:45 am but was placed immediately on hold for the “next available associate” to answer. I had a very simple question about shredding services at this location. No one ever answered after 7 minutes.

Great service. We stopped in to exchange a router. Dylan N. ensured we had the correct one this time. We needed a router , modem combo with multiple ethernet ports. Dylan went out of his way to give us additional info to help get it set up. We also returned our Spectrum equip. because it was insufficient. Way to go!

My experience has been great. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. Meanwhile, my husband had an unfavorable experience in a different area of the store when I was in Printing. He went to the men's room. He said someone had written on the wall ( I think on the "this was cleaned" chart) "don't you ever clean in here? He said that it was absolutely filthy. So, he told a clerk and met with an unfavorable response. Then, he asked that it be reported to a manager-- to which the clerk said "it won't do any good." When he asked to speak to the manager, she once again said: " it won't do any good. "I can't believe my husband didn't keep at her to get the manager. So, I am not giving Staples 5 stars. ( I can say that the day before the Ladies room was clean).

Today I purchased an Apple Pencil online from this Staples location using the same-day 1 hour pickup. Online it said there was one left in stock at this location so I purchased it right away. I then got a confirmation email telling me that it would be ready in an hour (keep in mind I live thirty minutes from this store). Anywho, an hour later I roll my happy self on up to this location and let the store clerk know that I was there for an item pickup of an Apple Pencil. She then proceeds to tell me that they had to scratch that order and were actually out of stock. I never received an email about this development and it would have been nice to know before driving 30 minutes out of my way to get it. Very poor communication on their part!

Great employees, great store. I came here when I was visiting family a while ago to pick up a phone case and a few other items and the cashier was very polite and helpful. His name was Alex, I believe. He made sure he answered all of my questions and made my experience as good as possible. I'd definitely come here again!

Store employees are rude. Ordered photo cards. They were late. Got an email they were ready. Showed up, weren’t ready. Said they would be in by 4:30. Called at 4:30 because they already wasted my time once. Still wasn’t ready. Was told they would call me when they came in, rudely because “we already called too many times today”. Very rude sense they had my money and my cards and wasted my time previously. First card was messed up. Just a terrible experience with a rude staff.

My husband & I received the best customer service today that either of us has ever had! Randy helped us look for a specific printer & when they didn’t have it he gave us a deal on another one. He was extremely polite, patient & knowledgeable & answered all of our questions. I have only been to Staples a couple times in my life but I will definitely be shopping there regularly now! I got some pages printed for an upcoming party and although the quality is nice- the prices aren't justified. I had no idea it would be $45 to cut 60 pages in half! Ridiculous and that price doesn't even count the prints!

Even though I didn't make a purchase, the staff was awesome. They greeted me ask if I needed any help. One employee that stands out is Jessica. She answered every question about the printing department. Very informative and knowledgeable. Thank you for a wonderful experience in an unknown area for me.

Much improved customer service. The store has never been particularly logically arranged, which I presume is a corporate mandate, and until my most recent visit, it was just as hard to find someone willing to help you as it was to find what you were looking for. Hopefully this is a new trend. It is still a smaller footprint so don't expect a lot of stock or an abundance of choices, but if it becomes easier to find things, it will become a convenient place to pick up office supplies,

Wanted copies of my mom and grandmothers wedding photos to recreate at my wedding along with pictures from my great grandfathers childhood. so we went to staples in Troy and the lady there was fast and careful with the old photos.She offered to cut them down for us as well, which was very kind.It also cost a lot less than I expected.

This store is poorly run by individuals that do not understand customer service! I purchased a wall calendar - inquired to TWO associates if it was the only academic year they had...& was told it was. Price was $17.99 & was tax exempt because it is for a church. I get to church to put up the calendar only to see I was sold a 2016 calendar. I return the calendar and now they have to order me a 2017...but I notice on clearance January-December 2017 calendars for $5.99. All this hassle and they REFUSE TO GIVE ME THE $6 Calendar as an "we are sorry we screwed up!" Then they charged me tax!! I will be changing all of our supply orders to a company that has customer service as a priority!! According to the Corporate office, this was at the store mgrs discretion! He FAILED!! Monday morning I will be contacted the office of the president.**3/27/2017: The Office of the President immediately apologized & went above & beyond in resolving my complaint!! Many thanks!!

Stopped here 09/13/2022 to check on four items. For being an office supply type store, they did not have any of the general items on my list! No wonder people are resorting to ordering online. Prices are higher here from my experiences, there are occasional times when I do shop at Staples.

Mostly good experiences here. I've almost always found the office supplies I needed. The staff was helpful when asked to find something. I'm a nerd. I can browse through pens, mechanical pencils, Post-it notes, computers, printers, office chairs, and... everything all day.

I am curious if the person's in charge of the company care about business. Your prices are outrageously high and not even justified. $20 for a mini computer mouse!? And $10 for 4 gel pens!? Who in the world pays for these? I hope people considering visiting your stores in the near future read this and consider ebay, Amazon, or any other retailer before spending money at yours. This isn't just for the Troy location but all. No wonder your stocks drop, and employee turn over rate is high, no one comes there! Even your black Friday deals were a joke. Good look pocketing as much money as you can with your 500% mark-up on your products. So sad

There was no staff anywhere to be found to help me find what I needed. Took me about 20 minutes, but I eventually found it. The price was good, so at least there's that.Edit: Came back because I had to get something laminated, and whoever helped was HORRIBLE at it. I got 3 things laminated, the first two were just rectangle pieces of paper and he could not cut evenly. The third thing was for a PRESENT and he cut way too close to the paper and the whole thing was ruined and I had to redesign the whole thing and get the new one laminated again (somewhere else obviously). I will never ever come here again. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Good ol' fashion customer service at this Staples. I wound up with a busted chair (not the store's fault) and they resolved it without hesitation and didn't make me put it back in the box or drag the whole thing back to return it.

3-5 minutes to put some papers into a binder ring.... she took longer than that to ring a customer up in front of us yet told us she couldn't get to them until following day. Would have taken 3 MINUTES lady
