It's very clean in the store but also very warm. They don't seem to have air conditioning on. They have good organization in clothing, and most departments are well maintained. The supervisor Amanda was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything. She took pride in what she was doing. Always smiling.

This used to be the best Goodwill in the region. Now it's probably the worst. The prices aren't just high, they are ludicrous. $6.99 for Glue that is literally .97 cents at other retail stores. $15-20 for broken toys. $15-40 for board games missing pieces. Basic drinking glasses that most thrift stores price a quarter and can't sell...$9.99. It's honestly embarrassing to see these prices because it means someone pricing is that uneducated or it's just pure greed. Either way, everything you pick up just makes you feel bad when you look at the price and there's so many better places to thrift shop now. Hope to see new management someday turn the store around to it's former glory. I used to go in multiple times a week and always found great deals. Now I rarely go in and never spend money.

Goodwill of Troy Ohio on main is the worst!! Today I had a nasty encounter with an employee named Lacey M., and the manger that was there today of March 16th 2024 around 3-7pm. The employees are absolutely terrible and mean. They both rolled their eyes when we came back to return the item that was way too over priced!! Also to add the worker Lacey was obnoxiously chewing gum, like nothing wrong with that until you’re chewing like a cow and almost make the gum fall out your mouth onto customers items in front if us. This worker does not belong in the front, because she was rude since we walked in the door. Like is common courtesy so difficult to provide the customers?? I called the store before I came in and explained the situation and they seemed confused, but as soon as I came in they all knew what I was there for and they didn’t care about the rudeness towards us. First of all they didn’t have there sign updated saying coats are 9.99 because we saw them saying 5.99 for coats… but charged us 9.99. Please get your store together!Lol and new workers. They need to really check their dressing rooms as the women’s one to the right was filled all over with previous clothes and was nasty overall. But I guess the dressing rooms match the workers attitude towards us. Thankfully though they gave us a gift card….but we will never shop there again! However piqua Goodwill will always have our service, as they are really nice employees who are willing to stick around to have a conversation with their customers!!

This store needs corporate to come in and clean house. Their pricing is down right theft. YES THEFT!!! They have you paying retail or even over retail basically on anything that isn’t a fixed price. Even then shows that have fixed pricing are being marked way up along with certain clothing. This place is outright criminal. Sidney and Piqua are way better price wise just less of a selection. Please please please if you donate do not donate to this goodwill until there is a management change.

Goodwill more like greedwill. Prices have became ludicrous, I mean some items like board games are marked at retail. There is so many other items that I can buy brand new at Walmart for the same price or even less. Come on Goodwill get the picture and actually do actual Good will for your consumers. If I could give zero stars I would.

Probably will never go to this Goodwill in Troy again. Their prices are very high. My Granddaughter insisted on buying a particular spool of ribbon, the Big Lots preprint price was on it for $1.50 Goodwill's price 1.99! It was'nt even a full spool! They are pricing Christmas items for $5.99 and $6.99 and alot are broken.

Store is a mess. They have a posted return policy that doesn’t state you can only get a store credit if you bring something back. So if you buy something with cash, bring it back within 7 days along with the receipt you CAN NOT get your money back. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM.

Once in a while you may find something in the mess! The staff is never friendly ever! Store is normally messy at the books, DVD, and toy area. Prices are delusional just like at the other Miami valley Goodwill's. And they don't inspect anything before they put it out. It's near so that's the only reason I make a visit. They need to reevaluate their prices on a lot of stuff.

Went to donate some old clothes, didn’t check their open times as I thought I could just drop off my items and leave. I was greeted at the back door by a man that seemed to be very upset that I showed up early. He proceeded to scold me on their open times and told me to not come back unless they are open. I offered to come back but he must of had a bone to pick because he reluctantly accepted my donation while making little comments about me being there before they open. Just seemed like unnecessary aggression. I just won’t donate then.

Love going to goodwill on Sundays cause it is 99 cent day for whatever color barb was on sale for 50% off throughout the week. They don't open until 11 on Sundays though. I always bring my clothes home and wash them before putting away or wearing.

Beyond irritated. Every visit I make here at least one clothing item doesn't get the proper price at checkout. If you're running black tag 50% off, why am I paying full price because I'm distracted with my two children. It's not my job to do your job for you. If you offer a sale price then honor the sale price. If there's a price difference between infant and toddler clothing then honor that price difference.

I don't know why anyone would give this store more than one star. Very disappointed! Who is pricing these items?? Waaaaayyyyy too overpriced!!! They're selling items for the same price you'd pay if you bought them new! $4.50 for one item of worn out clothing? Give me a break! And much ot the home items are filthy. They're trying to sell small insulated lunch coolers for $12.99! Do they realize why people shop at thrift stores? Never going back to this thrift store unless it gets new management or something! Skip this one, it's not worth it! Take the trip to Dayton!

Pretty decent Goodwill. I appreciate the cleanliness. I wish they would restock a little more often; that back room is fully loaded! Pricing doesn't really make sense either; some items are really overpriced or they individually price sets (like salt and pepper shakers or glass sets).

Normally this goodwill is a good place to shop but this time 100% horrible experience. They started doing closing announcements at 1 1/2 early letting us know they closed at 6 and then Proceeded to Angrily do it every five minutes. And then as we were finishing up came and said we need you to go check out now or we’re gonna kick you out, and then we got up to the cash register and then the lady explain well the reason we’re doing this and we can kick you out is because our system reboot ride at six. And then just kept saying we’re gonna kick you out. Definitely was not handled correctly and they definitely need a more profession way to handle themself.

Has its good points and bad. Some of the items can be bought cheaper at other stores brand new..used to have more selections in the wares department and linens,,they need to listen to the customers more besides be customer friendly.Today is September 1st and I have to say the manager has worked hard to make the Troy store much nicer and trying to keep it so there is something for everyone. So customers please remember it's a second hand store so sometimes things aren't perfect but they are trying hard to make it as nice as possible.

Clean store, friendly staff, and new items are brought out onto the floor many times throughout the day. Most prices are good, but some are high on certain items on the floor. Lines are long because the poor cashier has to input certain item descriptions into the register before they can even put in the price, causing a VERY LONG and LENGTHY TIME we had to wait in line to purchase our items. Several people put down the items they were going to purchase because of the long time they had to wait in line. BUT if you are patient, this is a great store to shop in, and has a lot of great merchandise to choose from.

It's a great store unless it's hot out. It was 95 degrees today and felt like 100 inside the store. It's nasty, staggering hot in there. I had to leave after 5 minutes.

Not sure why exactly thrift stores started putting price tags on unopened items UPC's but this thrift store puts price tags on most of them. If I buy a item from a thrift store to resell it, why does that matter because I'm still buying the item? Which to me a thrift stores ultimate goal is to sell items! If I know an item will resell I don't worry about it, but I left about 20 items I could have bought on y'all's shelves because I couldn't scan the UPC... Good thrift store overall though

Goodwill is the best place to find what you don't need but is there by destiny lol. Lots of good deal and personally love to come on Sundays when they change the color special which during the week represent half of of the merchandise mark with a particular color but Sundays that color is only $0.99 cents

Clean store, neatly arranged. But I did wander around awhile looking for assistance and was never offered any. I didn't see anyone working the floor, either. I eventually found what I needed, but it took longer than I wanted it to.

I just went to buy something. I found 2 items that were identical but color. They were different prices. Supervisor in training argued w me and refused to honor lower price on 2nd item. I didnt buy it or other items. They didnt just lose $5 they lost my business. Very poor customer service. They've done this before. Use common sense and honor your customer. I'll be using other stores now.

The staff is always nice. They have a good selection and it is well organized. I wish the prices were a little cheaper but its not bad for what it is.
