Leadership needs to watch what’s going on with the “employees” here. Rude and disrespectful. Zero customer service skill. Tagging sale items 24 hours ahead of time. Not stocking shelves just leaving carts in isle. Place is a fire hazard.

Love this Dollar General! I usually go there at least 3 to 4 days a week! The Employees treat you like Family! They always say Hello and ask about your day at the checkout. We have two more Dollar Generals in my area, but this one is by far, my Absolute Favorite!

The employees of this Dollar General try their hardest to keep everything clean and have no problem helping out any and all costumers.I also love this one because of the variety of food. Since there is no grocery store on this side of town the expansion they did with the fridges was worth it. I now do all my shopping here.

I understand this is a difficult time in society right now but you don't have to be snappy with customers. You just walked in the store to work yes you got a truck in but take a deep breath and move on . The blonde at your location who is the manager could use an adjustment on her attitude we are the ones that are still paying your income get over yourself . Then you have an older lady named Becky who is fabulous always has a smile on her face and is helpful. Above all things be kind for goodness sakes. I think I will be staying away from Dollar General for quite awhile and I will encourage family and friends to do the same.

Connie, the apparent store manager, was extremely rude. First, I called to make sure there was a Western Union and to see what time they closed. After walking for 35 minutes, I get there and ask for help to receive my western union money. She hadn't ever done a Western Union transaction so had to call her boss, which was only on the phone with her for like 3 minutes. She said I had to call Western Union myself to see why I couldn't receive the money when I had my I.D. and tracking number in hand. If you don't know how to do something just say it instead of pretending it was my fault. After leaving very upset because she didn't know what she was doing, and I had a 35 minute walk home, I called to get her boss's number and repeatedly she said she was the manager. Ok, I asked for someone over her head, since she wasn't understanding that I wanted her boss's name. She finally rattled off some phone number for an Ashley which I didn't catch and didn't care to ask her to repeat. I will never go back to this store. It wouldve saved alot of my time and not have to deal with an extremely rude manager, if she would've just said, yes we have western union but don't come until tomorrow when someone is there that knows what they are doing. I don't even understand how she's the store manager. Must not have to have any people skills or customer appreciation to work there. This review shouldn't even get one star except the other boy that was working was very nice. Funny that Kroger had absolutely no issue with the Western Union. Kroger gets my business from now on

Kind of an out of the way location unless you live on that end of town, but the food, drink and frozen/refrigerated selection is bigger than anything in town except a full grocery. They have DG brand items for a great number of items cheaper than name brand. Seemed to handle backup of customers efficiently. Outside of building and parking lot were clean and in good shape.

It's popular lol. They are always trying to keep things stocked. May also be short on help due to people having trouble finding people who want to work right now. But the ones who do work there are friendly 🙂 despite the circumstances.

I'm kind of in love with this place. I have passed this place by so many times it's unreal. Two days ago I finally walked in. I'm so glad I did! It's so convenient. I have gone back a few more times for things I need instead of driving across town to an overcrowded store that takes forever to get out of. The register always is packed at this store when I first walk in but keep in mind, everyone is only buying a couple things. Within minutes the line is down. I highly recommend this place!

I really enjoy shopping in this Dollar General store of the ones in Troy. Its always so clean and easy to find what your looking for . Brandon Wilder is so helpful when needing to find something. He is always so friendly and greets each customer with a smile making them always feel welcome. Brandon makes my shopping experience always plesant and makes me want to come back. I will defiently refer this store to my family and friends.

Absolutely horrible. I couldn't get down any of the aisles because there were boxes and carts everywhere. Cashier couldn't answer questions about where things were and took forever to even get to the register. Needs better management or organization.

Seems like this chain is the only place to get excedrin migraine and it seems people are finding out as its hardly in stock when i stop at any dollar general to get some so better get 2 bottles instead of 1. Wm dont carry migraine anymore.

**Update: 7/12/2020 Seems to have gone downhill lately. DG Go no longer works and the parking lot ins't anywhere near as clean as it used to be. Not sure what changed but something has. I avoid it at all cost now.Then there is the lines, with one cashier and no DG Go, what would you expect. Will stop elsewhere on my way back from work if I need something. Too bad, it once was nice.Best Dollar Store in Troy, always clean. Also has DG Go, so no waiting in line.

I went to this store for the first time since they remodeled. I was very impressed. Very clean and personnel very friendly and helpful. Prices are comparable to the larger chain I usually use. Will definitely go back.

One of the cleaner DGs in the area. Cute farmhouse finds here. For some reason, the rolltainers with all the stock on them are almost always in the home aisle (decor, bedding, etc.), which is a pain, bc these 2 aisles are usually the reason I stop in here.

nice store, don't have much on that side of town so it's nice to have an option to keep from dealing with going across town for 1 or 2 items from wal-mart. staff is nice and for the most part the store is kept nice as well.

The people that work here are very friendly. The store is clean and not cluttered, even on stocking days, they try to keep freight carts out of your way.

No grocery on North end of Troy anymore...store is ok, albeit overpriced, if you need just a few items and don't want to drive across town to Walmart or Meijers.
