We got some great plants from here! The only downside is, we didn't notice when we purchased it, but one of them was very root-bound (rockin fushia). The roots had grown outside the bottom of the pot and filled in below the pot about 1". We had to use scissors to try to get the pot off of the plant. Next time, we'll just have to remember to check for that. I'm newer to gardening so I didn't think about it.

Be sure to check your plants very very very carefully! I am two years into dealing with a mealy bug issue that I got from a single Cyclamen that I bought there two years ago. I have lost hundreds of dollars of orchids and house plants. Would never buy from them again.Update: These are not accusations, but truth. Why am I bringing this up now is because 15 months later, and I am still fighting them, and trying to save over 1000 worth of plants. I had no issues until I brought those cyclamen home. I know that is where they came from, as one I had left in the plastic wrapper to take as a gift, and it was not close to any other plants. When I closely checked, it had them. I did call the store on November 29th 2022, and your clerk did offer a refund. I appreciated that, but I had already thrown them out in the trash to try to prevent further spread. I guess the only good in the situation is that I now know what to look for.

Great place to buy all types of plants and garden needs. We could spend hours here among all the flowers and plants. It’s great to just walk around. We get all of our plants here. There is also a big area full of lawn decorations. It’s so much fun!

Unreliable company and owner Andy Vo.Currenly Mr. Vo owes us a big amount of money. The age of the overdue exeeds 2 months!!! Company cannot afford to pay even 50 USD to us... Do not believe them as they cannot simply stick to their own promises. Mr. Vo ignoring all our phone calls and emails! We are preparing our documents to a start legal action soon with all legal consequences as seizing of assets and garnishment. We hope this review serves as a warning to potential partners, helping them avoid similar negative experiences.

I called and asked for a special item and was absolutely satisfied with the results. The item was a lantern with a flower arrangement and they did an exceptional job. My friend was very touched and brought tears to her eyes. I would like to thank you workers at Andy's for a job well done. I will definitely recommend your buisness in the future. Again thank you.

I live out of state and recently needed a very unique floral arrangement for a dear friends funeral. The Flower Shop staff went above and beyond in all aspects of customer service. Their communication along with timely and consistent follow-up was not only refreshing but quite impressive. I will absolutely use Andy’s as my sole provider for all future flower needs. Thank you Natalie and Abigail for making this happen for me - Brenda.

Stopped here yesterday also. I felt it was a very nice greenhouse. They had a nice selection, I felt the prices were good, they were very friendly and helpful. The plants were very full and healthy. Came on a motorcoach trip and the ladies seemed to like it too. Went home with the belly of the coach full to the brim. They thanked us all for coming and really appreciated it. One of the young men even carried a heavy planter into the coach for us. Thank you Andy and staff.

October 2016 - Kathy in the floral shop is amazing. I recently went in to have fresh flowers for an engagement cake, and Kathy (whom I learned has been designing arrangements for 19 years) did a superb job in hearing my design intentions and color scheme and fulfilling it with a beautiful arrangement to embellish the cake. Thank you, Kathy for your beautiful work!8/11/17 updateKathy did 10 flower centerpiece arrangements for our son and fiance's recent wedding rehearsal dinner. Kathy surpassed our expectations. The table arrangements were stunning! We intentionally chose the same flowers our son had for his sweetheart's first prom corsage, then engagement cake embellishment, and just recently the rehearsal dinner table centerpieces. His sweetheart enjoyed the nostalgia. Thank you Kathy for your expertise! It was meaningful that you did all three significant flower arrangements for our son and his love. I am a VERY happy customer!!!

At 39 years old I vowed to stop killing plants. I've done a lot of research for each plant I have and have had moderate success keeping a few I've purchased from grocery stores alive. Mary greeted me at 4:50 on a Saturday and I knew she was closing up shop so I said I was just there to pick up a plant or two that I thought would tolerate my brown thumb. She was amazing. She showed me a few options, helped me select ones that were better established, and offered lots of encouragement for my plant dreams. Not once did she make me feel like I didn't belong or that I was a nuisance showing up at closing. I will not go anywhere else. Mary alone has ensured I'll be there as often as I can to shop and ask for advice. So amazing! I wish I could give bonus stars.

This place is huge and a massive selection of plants! Everything is high quality and they grow most of their plants in Piqua and transport them here. Associates are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are in line and somewhat better than other retailers! What is worth noting is their plants are properly watered and fertilized and high quality! This is the most impressive garden center I've seen anywhere!!!

I always try to support local businesses but this was an awful experience that the manager of the shop turned around and took care of. I am grateful for this.

People were very helpful this spring when I bought plants for my garden.I thoughtthe plants would be better than I was getting at Lowe's & other places. Well apparently not. My garden is doing the worst it ever has. Not growing or producing! I don'teven have zucchini! Very disappointed. Especially since it cost about 2x more to plant this year.

Long review warning. If you don’t wanna read it, all you need to know is, THIS PLACE ROCKS. If you’re a gardener in the Miami valley area, read on:I went to Andy’s for the first time today to buy plants for my vegetable garden, and all I can say is WOW. They made a lifetime customer of me over $50 worth of plants.I’ve always gone to North Dayton Garden Center because that’s where my grandma always goes, and that just the way it was. I never had a single complaint about the place, they were always nice, but unfortunately I won’t be going back there. Andy’s is much closer to me and SO MUCH BETTER.Their plant quality and selection is PHENOMENAL. I had a really hard time picking my plants because they were ALL so nice! Not a single dying plant on the shelves. I was only worried about vegetables today, so I didn’t look hard at their flowers or shrubs, but I did not see one single unhealthy plant during my visit. The whole place looks like the Garden of Eden, and it’d be worth visiting for that alone. They also had MUCH better ventilation in their greenhouses than any nursery I’ve ever been to; I normally sweat like a pig whenever I go get my plants, but I was barely warm at Andy’s.Their selection during my visit made my whole summer! If you garden, you already know I’m way late to be getting started. I’ve been late a couple times before, and the trip to North Dayton was pretty disappointing both times. They’d have about 70% of what I was looking for (not always in great shape), and I’d get the rest from other nurseries and various hardware stores. That’s not their fault, nurseries can’t just order more plants when they run out, that’s not how it works. But today at Andy’s, I got 95% of my plants, all of them beautiful. The only thing they were out of was cucumbers; who cares, I can get those at Lowes.Their pricing was different than other nurseries in the area, but MUCH better. The $50 worth of plants I got normally runs me at least $80, if not over $100 by the time I’m done also buying from the hardware store. Not much else to say here, better plants at a better price. The last, and by far most important thing I noticed, was that their customer service was on another level! I’ve never had a customer service problem at North Dayton, or any other nursery; plant people are usually happy people. But this whole thing started with a phone call about tomatoes, on a nice Saturday, in the busiest season for these places. My call was answered within 10 seconds, by an employee (who’s name I can’t remember but wish I could) who didn’t know the answer to my question off the top of her head, but immediately went back to the greenhouse to find out. Once I got there, the place was positively buzzing with employees, all of them helpful and knowledgeable. I talked to at least a dozen employees, and each interaction was great. So that’s about it. I’m 32 years old and I’ve been actively gardening since childhood; today I found my new spot

Great selection. Great service. Great products. There is a saying in business. Quality, Service, Low Price. Pick any two. Because you cant have all three. If "inexpensive" is important to you, go to a big box store. If you want quality plants, knowledgeable service and to support a locally owned business, Its hard to beat Andy's.

The gal in the flower shop was so sweet. While I think they need more example books, she did a great job recommending us other options and showed us product in store. I'll let you know how well the arrangement turns out...

Had passed by many, many times and not realized what a gem it is. Purchased a good number of flowers for my home’s front flower beds. (Actually... in-laws did the purchasing). Great variety nicely split between perennials and annuals. Helpful staff. Reasonable prices. Plants looked better than what I typically see at big box home and garden.

I rarely leave reviews but I have to for one of my favorite spots! I love Andy’s :) i started collecting succulents a few years ago and moved onto house plants/outdoor gardening in the past year & this place is always my go to! Whether I’m buying for myself or for family/friends I can count on Andy’s. I'm a regular now & the manager greets me like an old friend! Plants are always high quality, and they have a great selection.

Called to inquired about some boxwood and viburnum. After a few minutes guy comes back on the phone and says, I have some clients I'll call you back later this afternoon. I'm a client, no? Or I am a customer? Perhaps there are some garden center rules of etiquette that I am not aware of ...

I have been going to Andy's Gardens for 40 yrs. (give or take...). Started out at the one in Piqua on Ann St., until it closed up years back (bummer, closer...). Then, I've been to Troy location many times since. I've been there approx. 4 times just since spring. I was not so happy when they said, they no longer have senior day nor do they take Golden Buckeye card anymore. I rely on the discounts since shopping here is pricey.

My favorite garden center! I make the 30 minute drive here a few times a year for annuals, perennials, houseplants and pottery. They have a nice selection of supplies too! I always check out the clearance section upstairs.

Andy’s has quality plants and outdoor decor. I find the staff there to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I have had corsages made there several times by their floral department and have always been pleased by the work they do. When I was having trouble deciding what would look best, the designer showed me some options and helped me put something beautiful together. I highly recommend Andy’s Gardens for any landscaping projects you have in mind.
