This place needs to be shut down! It's horrible so much freight everywhere u can't move. It's always a mess. The checkout lines are so long that they don't even try to bring someone up to help. Never have carts for the people that come in because its all always full of stuff they need to put on the shelfs (go figure) If they would fix the self check out machine the line it wouldn't be so long. I've never seen a more lazier crew in my life!

It's 12 now and still closed employees are here, I saw them see me pull in. Won't answer phone and there's a cart of meat sitting in the middle of an isle while they are outside the back of the store.Edit: just watched fedex roll up try to drop off a package and they still didn't come out.

I'm not sure if it's just the store in Trenton Ohio or if it's all the dollar stores but seems like they're really having trouble with getting help and keeping the shelves stocked people are friendly but they just don't have enough of themt

I used to be a manager at Family Dollar, and the struggle to even make a store look presentable let alone clean, front faced, everything pulled forward, and organized is way more of a job than you'd think. This place was immaculate. I have no idea how they do it, but everything was completely spot on. And when I went to check out, the lady was extremely friendly, and smiling. This is a great place to shop, and I will Definitely be back. Keep up the awesome work!!! Amazing!

I wouldn't even do a 1 star if I could. Went in today, there was 1 person in front of me when I first got in line. The girl at the registered answered the phone, then walked outside. We waited she came back and was ringing the man in front of me out he mentioned the pop he was buying was on sale. SHE DIDNT SAY ANYTHING AND WALKED PUTSIDE. so we stood there at this point th we re was about 3 ppl behind me then came more customers. The man in front of me said im not sure what happened to her. Another customer walked outside and was asking if she could come ring out the line of people. Then the person replied they were on the phone with the store manager. He replied is something broke? Can you come in and take care of this LINE of people. Then the original cashier walked in with the other person who was outside on her phone and rhey began to ring people out. I understand retail can be hard but seriously leaving a store FULL of customers at the register to talk outside?

It's understaffed, messy, the women's restroom has never been in service. They also run out of bread products, which is why I stopped this day. Product on carts to be shelved makes this an obstacle course and are everywhere.It's like somewhere you'd prefer to avoid, but they do have things you need in a pinch, most of the time. Their brand prices are high, but some of their generic items (sugar, flour, spices) are very good and inexpensive.They have a great frozen food selection, when the freezers are working. Some brand name items are not sold due to their higher costs.Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Go in....4 people that work there standing at one cash register, mind you no guests at the cash register to check out. With stock in racks in the middle of the aisles, nothing is being stocked.... Why do I have to shop off of stocking racks verses the shelves themselves!!???

The cashiers were so helpful and courteous. She went out of her way because she had no customers to help me figure out what products were the best and made sure I was satisfied with my products! I will definitely return there

Great little store to buy inexpensive items from. The only down side is sometimes it gets quite busy and on restock day the store gets a little messy with boxes about. But they surprisingly have a large variety of things you can buy from Arizona tea to storage boxes.

This store is a clean, organized and well stocked. It sells all of your basic cleaning products something that is very much needed during this 2020 #covid19 crisis. Appropriate safety precautions are taken here including the wearing of facemasks by customers & employees, six feet social distancing and shields at checkout. This store has plenty of coolers for all of your drinks & cold and frozen snacks, meals & dessert needs. The tall food aisles have plenty of canned and prepackaged food. There also sell basic furniture & all your other household supplies. The manager and employees are friendly and helpful. Until next time stay healthy and be kind to each other. #dollargeneral

It is what it is, a dollar store. We get our cleaning supplies as well as toilet paper and other household items here. The one thing about this DG that I haven't seen at others would be the staff. They are always nice and helpful.

very bare shelves! I asked why and was told because they don't have enough staff to stock. This has been going on for about 2 months! Today they had little candy and absolutely no toilet paper! Yet they will not hire under 18. Well they need to do something asap before they go under

Employees are nice and very helpful. The store served it's purpose by always having what you ran in there for. Aisles are too narrow and cluttered with stock. Hard to social distance.

Other than the store being too hot temperature speaking, the staff is hard working and friendly. Truck day is frustrating a bit, as un-boxed products clutter and block isles. Otherwise, it is the best Dollar General in the area!

Carmen (Manager) & Jordan were very helpful, kind & courteous. Carmen did a wonderful job fixing an issue with the BOGO Sugar free Kool-aid, Tang & Country Time on the Go pricing since it was obvious the corporate didn't program the correct pricing into the system properly (although this item was advertised on the DG app). Carmen did a beautiful job in assisting prior to arriving at this location in locating a specific item I went there to purchase. These associates went above and beyond to make me a happy customer! I would highly recommend this store for these reasons. Great job ladies 👏👏 👏👏💪

Today i went back for a refund on some over charges from July 6th. Had no prob. with that . But on the 6th. I tried to use my EBT card × 2 but it was denied .I had almost 40.00 dollars on it. Which i used today at a grocery stor with no problem . I don't think all the tellers know how to enter them !

Ok for cheap items. Place is somewhat disorganized but just what you need for basic shopping. Was there for plastic easter eggs and candy. Just what I needed for school Easter Egg Hunt.
