I adopted a pup from here, and everything went smoothly. They offer training from puppy to older dogs. These folks truly care about these dogs. My girl was Nova, but I changed her name to Daisy. She is such a wonderful addition to my family.

I took my 4 and 6 yr. Old to an event to adopt a dog. These people are the rudest, arrogant, anti social, unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I trained service animals for 4 yrs, I have over 12,000 hours as a trainer and I am certified through the Ohio Labor Dept. They try to regurgitate information that they read somewhere and pass it off as their own knowledge. Be VERY Leery of these people they try and charge a NON REFUNDABLE $250 application fee for adoption. What they don't tell you is that when they come out and inspect your home to see if you meet their twisted sense of worthiness you forfeit your $250; if you have had a dog within the last 5 years they want to see proof of shots, tags, etc, and if you can't provide all of this and pass this inspection on the random date that they pick, then you forfeit your $250.... READ THE FINE PRINT! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE POOCH PIRATES!

This organization is the best rescue near me! We have worked with them for several years. Our current foster, Millie is looking for her forever home. Also, Tonka is a happy alumni from them too.

They have sign in and a required price. You wait out in the weather. They were giving cat people barely enough food for a week. They depend on donations. You can only go once a month.

Oh are they awesome over here at Open Oaks Pet Grooming! After talking with one of the owners to get Leah set up with her first appointment, I developed a sense of peace with her care so moving forward, Tara took care of Leah and I couldn't have been more pleased with the gentleness in how she handled her throughout the whole process.Uh yeah, I'll make that drive across town for this type of service and care for my baby!!

This group is not about getting animals into good homes. They pick and choose who can adopt based off nonsense. Good homes are being denied to animals because of ridiculous rules they have placed that makes it difficult to adopt. My vet gave them an excellent reference of myself and the care that myself and family take of our animals. I do not recommend this group as they a group of volunteers hoarding animals....truly very disappointing and sad. I recommend adopting from the humane society or LC4.

I am very disappointed in the way communication is handled with this project. I was able to have a home visit and completely fall in love with a dog, to not be selected in adopting it with no explanation. Text messages left unanswered, emails left unanswered. One response saying I will forward to director to only not to be answered. Not until they decided to take the dog on a public showing while I was still hoping on having this dog added into my family did they decide to finally reach out to say they will not be accepting my application. I have a beautiful home, fully fenced in yard, and a caring heart that will take well care of this dog. It’s sad that I am unable to save a dog and my only option would be to go to a breeder

I spoke to someone in their office on the phone to make a follow up on an application. She initially told me that the dog I was interested in has already been adopted. The dog was picked up the day before i called. When I told her that the said dog was still posted on their website as available, she changed her mind and said that it takes a week for management to review applications.I called a week and 2 weeks later, sent an email as well to make a follow up on my application but they never responded.I have been looking for a dog for the past year or so. I am not sure why it has to be so hard to get in touch with them If they have reviewed my application and that they think that I am not a good fit to be a pet parent, then just pick up the phone or email me back. It's not that hard!By the way, the dog, I am interested in, Phil is still posted online in their websitePS.: As you can all read, the review that I posted above was several weeks back. PET BULL PROJECT responded to my review right away indicating that THEY WOULD LOOK INTO THIS MATTER. Guess what????? There was never a response from them! No emails, no class, nothing! This just proves that though most of the staff are volunteers “out of the goodness of their hearts”- they may be but they are not holding accountable to what they do. PHIL is still posted and who knows, if it’s true. Could he still be available but sick? Healthy? Adopted? Fostered? Or lost?Pet Bull Project is not reliable and trustworthy… perhaps a call to the BBB or authorities will wake them up!

It was easier to adopt a child, than to adopt a dog from this place. I would give 0 stars if that was a choice. The amount of info they require is unbelievable. If the tiniest most insignificant thing isn't how they want it, they won't even consider you. This organization is in the business of keeping the dogs, not adopting them out. We are good dog owners. We have two dogs from rescues, an amazing vet, and our yard is fenced in. Our pets are family. They are beyond unreasonable. I'll NEVER attempt to do business with them again. Stay away. Save your time.

They are always kind and generous. I had a 22 yr old cat and needed a special food for kidney failure and they always went out of their way to find it for me. I appreciated that more than words can say.

The staff and volunteers here seem to be very considerate and responsive to the needs of their clientele. I have visited a handful of times since they merged some of their services with Humane Ohio's pet food pantry to better accommodate people needing that service. The only downside I have observed is that not all of the existing clients' files made the transition, and sometimes there is a shortage or complete lack of cat food. But they have no control over a shortage of donations.

This was my 1st time ever going. I commend the ladies. They were so nice and pleasant. As I had fallen on hard times it was hard for me to ask for help. They did not make me feel less than a person for needing help for my fur baby.

This is an amazing organization. It is clear they love the dogs and want the best homes for them. Our Baxter (Uber) is the best dog.

These People are doing a great job for the community both for dogs as well children. With programs to help those with financial issues feed their dogs and for kids to learn advocacy and humane treatment of animals. There is a great sense of community resonating from this volunteer organisation.

This Program and the people involved are very suspect and discriminatory. I applied for 3 different puppies. The first one I never heard anything about and mysteriously he wasn't on the adoptable pet profile the next morning. The second dog I was told he was too aggressive for smaller kids and needs a home with older children even though I have a 16 and 13 year old. The last dog I inquired about through email and a reputable adoption website. I was told I need a fenced in yard to adopt puppies even though I have a fenced in yard and am a homeowner which was told to them on the application. They were reminded through email and i never heard anything further. I even tried calling and left several voicemails and never got any response. This is ridiculous. They have given people with less opportune home situations a dog. I believe they just didnt want to give me a dog on discriminatory bases. Thumbs down toledo PET Bull Project.

I didn’t never went to this place I just looked at the photo of the puppies and you can tell they are not being feed enough. I have experience with pit puppies and I know if you feed them right they won’t look like in the one in the pictures.

I tried to adopt a dog that I was told was available, after filling out the application and waiting for a response they told me that I couldnt have to dog because it wouldnt get enough exercise... mind you I'm an airforce veteran in good shape and fully capable of giving this dog a loving home. Do not deal with this company it is a waste of time.
