Friendly people, clean store and very helpful. Prices are average and below. Great place I found 4 years ago and I go back for their grass seed and other yard necessities (bird seed, etc.) Support the local community rather than the big stores for these things... Again, a great find in Toledo.

Love these guys for home brew and gardening. Really the only good home brew center in the area I know about, and they have good amounts of everything you might need and often have good advice too.

Not only did the 2 kind gentlemen help me math how many straw bales my blazer could carry in a last minute effort to make a small windbreak around the rest of my chicken coop (the answer is 5 with the seats down 😅) but they helped me load it in the bitter single degree weather.My nuggets and I thank you.We will be back for grass seed in the spring. Probably a lot.

This is a hidden gem 💎. I have worked 6 minutes from here for almost three years and didn't know it existed. What a wonderful garden center. I was amazed by their brewing selection! Well worth a stop in.

Stopped in for a product and they knew what it was right away and had it in stock. They have a parking lot on the side and have a nice selection of hardware and pet related stuff. Local and convenient!

For the last couple of years you have had a serious problem with moths in the peanuts in the shell.. Last year when my husband returned a bag, he was questioned about how he stored them.. We store them in a sealed container, Not the plastic bag they come in. Again this year. It took longer to notice as we started with white maggots, then they changed into the moth. When I called to let them know, they were well aware of the problem.. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU WILL END UP WITH BUGS!!

I just returned from this place, and although it wasn't my first time there, I felt the need to write a review today.Every ... single ... time I come looking for help, I leave not only with the products I need, but also some helpful tips to make my project a success!This place has been open since the late 1800s and the knowledgeable staff is unsurpassed! They patiently answer my questions, make recommendations, but never, ever push their products like so many others.At a time when I have lost confidence in salesmen and contractors in general, Titgmeier continues to come through for me. They know they have a good thing here and they don't need pressure to make this place a success.

My husband has sworn by this place for his "special" blend grass seed. They totally changed their blend yet still want top and I mean top dollar. Also dog food I buy from tractor supply (as I can not be bought in local stores or pet stores) almost 5 dollars more a bag. I'm all for supporting local businesses but not at these prices.Thank you for your response, but you have changed your blend. Trust me my husband brought in past purchase blend from what he bought before and it was so very different.

I am able to get my exotic birds their exotic knead of food there at a good piece. I can't get it in our town nor the next oneWell worth the drive to check them out they have brewing supplies too. Plus what ever else then handle. They also will carry out your purchases with they are heavy for you to handle. Really friendly staff😃

Have a flea issue went to get flea spray bought Harris flea spray for 9.99 used it was a waste of my money and time does not work tried in the past to shop there but this was the final time I will NOT send money in this storeGo to PETCO or Pet supply plus

First went to this store over 55 years ago for hamster food. The place has changed alot over the years but still a quality store. Great place for wine making and beer brewing supplies. Also great for bird feeding needs.

Really good prices for brewing equipment. Friendly staff that ask if you need help and don't push if you don't. Definitely not a store you'd spot if you past by so keep an eye out.

Shop local! Great staff. Best bird seed and supplies in town. And great selection of dog food. Also, doing Home Brew; wine makingFills in the niche since Andersons closed.Largely undiscovered by Toledo area. The location is in the old South End, but safe area.

Not the typical "brewing supply store" that I'm used to, but dang do they have a heck of a selection of brewing and bottling items. I was very impressed with the selection and the knowledge of the staff. In a feed/garden/hardware store? Who knew!
