I love this place and enjoy communicating with the employees. I hate that I live in walking distance tho because I can’t seem to stay away from there😂😂. I put on at lest 20lbs every summer from eating there so often. I always get the same thing every time (Large eggnog flavored ice cream 🍦 with caramel and whip cream. The employees are so sweet and the service is great! I hope to one day trying a new flavor but until then EGGNOG it is #TeamShivers 💪🏽 🏽

Not a bad ice cream place, primarily soft serve. They have a really nice picnic table seating area which was nice. Easily the most flavors of soft serve I’ve ever seen. The pistachio was fantastic.

I absolutely love that they serve Superman ice-cream. I haven't had this flavor since I was a child. The customer service was good, and the patio area was nice

Kids like to come here cause they can get different flavors made. Today they got cotton candy and blue raspberry and one brain freeze. Oh and I was able to pay with venmo!

Very friendly staff. I had never had flavored soft serve apart from vanilla or chocolate. I went with BLUE RASPBERRY soft serve and sprinkles in a medium cup. It was good. Flavor was consistent. My friends had Wizard’s Brew and were expecting a butterbeer flavor. They thought the butterscotch taste was weak - like a zero sugar pudding. Would love to try a coffee flavor next! FYI bring cash. There’s a nearly 4% fee for cards.

It's the end of a brutal week and I decided I deserved a treat. Shivers and Beastro Burger - what could be better? And because I survived this week, I went really crazy and had dessert first 😁 - Shivers custom flavors sounded good, so I chose blood orange ice cream while I waited for my burger. Yumm-mmy!!

I had never been here before and went on a whim, but I am super glad I did. I'll be back. Didn't know what I wanted so asked the gals. They suggested like a snicker doodle which had cinnamon. Told them I wanted something more chocolatey, they came up with an idea which was amazing and suggested adding more things. When it was ready they also added brownie bits, plus gave me a sampling of the snicker doodle! 😲 Sauce was even on the bottom (meaning not just ice cream when you get to the end).Pleasant service and creative, could tell they enjoyed doing this!! Thanks Shivers you knocked it out of the park today on this super hot day!!!

Good ice cream. Decent location .But they wouldn't accept my $50 bill. When asked why, they said the manager did not want them to accept because of too many countfeits going around. I should have asked if she had one of those pens to check its authenticity .It's a little too inconvenient for me. Especially since I frequent their business.

Ice cream is very good. I had vanilla/chocolate swirl in a cup and after eating at home my lips blew up with blisters. Apparently the spoons must be near nuts. I will not use their spoons again unless they are individually wrapped.

Im sorry, but WAY OVERPRICED! Ice cream used to be a treat. I understand inflation but I tried to treat my kids and order a few size small freezes and it came out to $20. I kept trying to put cash the amount together in my head and thought all it is, is a slush and soft service ice cream mixed together. I just don't understand. Been supporting them for years but I think I will make a freeze at home until the prices become more family friendly.

Was pretty good. The lady was friendly and helpful. Ordered the samoa Sundae. It was amazing. Fairly cheap price wise. Have an outdoor seating spot. Accept cards.

If they close at 10, don’t try showing up between 930 and 10. If they close at 9, 830 is your cut off. They close early and start cleaning machines a half hour early before close so you either get no ice cream and only slushees, or MAYBE if you’re lucky, you can pay for a sundae. They should change their hours to let people know. Why extend your hours for summer if they’re not really even extended

Jill made me the most amazing cinnamon toast crunch sundae, drizzled with hot fudge and dusted with cinnamon sugar. From the very first bite to the scraping of the bottom of the cup, so as not to miss any bit of it, it was soooooo good!!

Ice cream is great. Prices a bit high. And yes bring cash they charge more for using a card. Sorry but cash is cash people pay for the product and you charge more I think is foolish just me. Service today was slow for having 4 people working.Penguin palace and nettys do not charge the consumer for the credit card processing. Go back to cash only. But you as the provider chose to expand your market to allow for credit cards that is your choice the consumer should not have to pay for that service you should if you offer it. As far a prices go your chili dogs are way overpriced and not nearly as good as nettys. $2.95 plus additional $0.50 for chili. As far as customer service go please work on upcharging. Would you like to make that a large today for $0.25 more. Would you like to add sprinkles etc. Have a daily special 2 hot dogs, a bag of chips, and a soda for $7. Tuesdays $2 walking tacos. This would broaded your sales.

Very good and smooth soft serve. The 30+ flavors is mind boggling. You can order multiple flavors in your cone or cup so you can be creative with your combinations. The servers were friendly and fast with the orders. The prices are very reasonable too. We'll be back.

The girls working acted like they had no clue what they where doing I wanted to buy soft pretzels with cheese and was told the microwave did not work and there where people in line and the girls where telling people that they can’t make shakes and other ice cream it made a lot of people mad and they left I will not ever bring my family back to this ice cream place ever again the service is bad the owners need to hire adults and not kids that now what they are doing

My family REALLY enjoyed this ice cream and like that there are like 30 different soft serve flavors. We will be back for sure to try more. My son loved the blueberry soft serve and I loved the coffee soft serve. Very yummy!! And their smallest size was perfect for myself and the kids and was only a dollar something.

The girls working were super friendly and helpful, but the 2 shakes I ordered were very disappointing. Couldn't taste the coffee or cheesecake flavors at all. I even had my mom taste them when I got home and she said they just tasted like vanilla. I've been to Shivers only a handful of times over the past few years, as I don't live in Toledo anymore, but I don't remember ever being this disappointed in the past so hopefully it was just a bad day.

My Family loves shivers. Always has a variety of soft serve flavors and the ice-cream NEVER has a dirty machine taste like other places sometime have. Always a plus. New flavors have been added this year, our kids are excited to try them all.

Great service. Fair prices. They have outdoor seating. We got a large banana split to share with kids and it was good. I noticed that also prepare milkshakes. Easy parking.

Shivers is one of if not my favorite place for soft served ice cream in the maumee toledo area. So many flavors and toppings to choose from and prices haven't changed much. They can pretty much make anything from Sundays to soft serve or hard ice cream and ice slushies to milk shakes. I've been going there for years and will continue to give them my business.

Nice neighborhood ice cream shop. Nice selection of items to choose from and a big variety of flavors for their ice cream. Only drawback is that they need more than 1 worker or 2 to speed up service, orders, lines so waits are not so long.

Ice cream heaven on earth! Every flavor is amazing, the staff is as amazing as Chickfila and that's saying something because I work at Chickfila. Everyone can be appeased here with their over 25 flavors and every single one is just so amazing. I can't even put into words how good their ice cream is and they have good prices on the serving sizes.
