I was greatly concerned for the ferrets in this particular store.I wanted to purchase at least 2 and requested to hold them and my response from one of the workers was they are mean and will bite you!So ultimately these employees are not preparing the animals for adoption.Hands on all animals in pet stores being sold should be being practice. Unfortunately I was unable 2 adopt some ferrets.I wonder about the other animals in this store and the employees.

Amazing! The lady who helped me was so kind and extremely helpful. Very knowledgeable. She went out of her way to pick out the perfect baby mouse for my baby snake. The mice were clean with no mites. Beyond happy. My new feeder shop! Love this store!

I went in to buy my daughter her first pet fish. The lady seemed nice and helpful and sold me the aquarium, fish, ect. She told me to run the tank for an hour and go ahead and put the fish in. The fish died. After doing alot of research, I realized the woman had no idea what she was talking about. I went in again and spoke with someone a little more knowledgeable. But after all my research, The people at this store have no idea what they are doing or selling.Anyways after I got the tank set up. Water perfect, beneficial bacteria, and temperature right, (none of which was told by any employee) the fish still died. The beta fish at this store are not well taken care of.when I went to pick out the second fish. Half of the were laying on there side at the bottom of the bowl, there fins are all messed up. Do not purchase.

I originally left a review giving 3 out of 5 stars discussing how i hoped for a better 2nd experience. Now, I'm giving 1 but would prefer -10,000! I took my sweet dog in to be groomed. This was our first time at PetCo but not going to a groomer. After picking my dog up from her appointment she wasn't the same. She is now afraid of everything. Her brush, leash, being touched etc. She wasn't like this before. She was always happy to see us, wanting belly rubs, wagging her tail, and giving kisses. Whatever y'all did to my dog is unforgivable! I don't make accusations lightly but I fully believe she was abused/mistreated by an associate. We won't ever and I mean EVER get her groomed at Petco. The damage you have caused two weeks ago has yet to be reversed! It makes me sick to even have to type this!

I took my dog in to get her groomed, she is a huge 7 month old puppy. We are still working on leash training because I have been sick and unable to work her earlier. Your groomers made me feel very special, even though I was at the wrong location. I will from here on out make it the right location. You have made a loyal customer for life.

Nice staff, ordered online for first time and that was nice to wait in car for my order. When I went in at another time they were collecting for two rescue places over the holidays and I think that is wonderful.

Pretty rough store and hasn't been updated in a while, limited items compared to the way pet stores used to be, but I got what I needed and they still sell fish. Workers here were friendly as well.

Patricia ringing us out was the most painful experience ever. Did not ask for help, instead just randomly tapped on a blank screen for literally 10 min for an 1 item transaction. I was struggling with holding my items and she did not offer a bag, just watched things fall.The fact that I applied for petco and they declined me was only salt to the wound as they chose to hire someone that does not ask for help or use their brain.

They had a great price for the brand dog food I use. I just wish they had curbside assistance for pickup orders since I order ahead so I don't have to go in and stand in a line.

My dog recently was diagnosed with diabetes and I go there to get treats for her. I appreciate the fact that the employees have always been nice and helpful plus they have just about anything you could want for your pets.

Well the staff was nice enough as we walked in but not even a few second after a few kids were kicked out for attempting to shoplift. Instead of leaving it at that and letting them leave, an employee was standing in the entryway screaming and antanginizing them as they left; yelling "you better come say that to my face", "keep talking like that and I'll call the police", and other ridiculous things as they were already out of the store and walking away. Other employees were encouraging this behavior and instigating the first to continue.The aquariums were all pretty gross; multiples were off limits until illness was under control and dead fish were floating in almost all of them. The bettas made me most upset, many with fin rot, floating to the top or sinking to the bottom and unable le to move, a few with ich, and some with entire fins and scales missing. If my phone hadn't died I would have taken more pictures.The small animal and reptile cages were pretty dirty. Dirty food and water bowls/bottles, messy litter, and a few of the animals themselves were dirty.Many prices were higher than I have seen in other places as well, though I know corporate is to blame for that.All round it was a bad experience. At the very least, I would hope the care of the animals in their store would increase to basic levels.

Sam the manager here is extremely unprofessional, rude, and condescending to customers for petty reasons. I will never spend another dollar here, and strongly urge anyone else not to either. There are plenty of other stores in the area that will treat you way better. When doing a curbside order, she may refuse to put your groceries into your car if she thinks you look able bodied.

I went there looking for flea medicine for my small cats, the website said they had it in stock, the lady working, Pat, told me if it's not on the shelf they don't have it, I ordered it online came back when it was ready, got to my car and saw it was the wrong type, it was for large cats over 9lbs then my husband went back in the store and they said they did not have it even though the order was completed. They finally looked in the case and found the correct one, they were very unprofessional and rude. I recommend you shop PetSmart right down the street, they are more pleasant and don't mind looking for something in the back of it's not on the shelf. If you're gonna be rude and not do your job maybe you shouldn't work at a pet store.

This petco is generally clean and the staff are readily able to assist. Sometimes their stock is a bit low, but they fill it fairly quickly. We usually get feed for our various animals here and it is fine and seems about the same price as other places or online. If you buy online and do a pickup the prices can be less expensive.We have purchased animals at this location before and they are 1 year old now (although they did have ringworm when purchased and gave it to my kids). Overall it's a fine location of petco and usually have what you need.

Was treated rudely by cashier #3...yelled at my daughter, niece and me...saying to many people in which we had our mask on and customers at another register were served all (6) of them...without mask...as far as the store Burlington we really enjoyed it but that mean cashier rudely tarnish our visit...not a very good visit from out of town visitors ...

I had my dog trained by Ms.Pat. The genuine love and consideration shown not only by her but by the grooming staff when he needed his toenails buffed was astonishing. I'll definitely be back.( I just acquired an African Boerboel who at the time was 1 year old and 145lbs . He never had grooming or training the staff's patience was appreciated)
