I bought a Mastercraft fiberglass insulated exterior door there and once installed it was glowing from the sun. Standing on the inside of the door you can clearly see all of the areas where there was no insulation. This door is supposed to be an energy star qualified door. I have it fully installed. Nailed, screwed, shimmed, caulked, etc. I go to the store to see what can be done. I was told I can tear the entire door out and return it or fill out a form and wait a month before any answers. This explanation was given to me by the General Manager, Eric. I'm not one who likes to call people out by name but he was very unhelpful or willing to work with me to resolve the issues. Basically said there is nothing he could do to help and there was nobody he could refer me to to help. I asked if we could use the brightest flashlight they sold to see if any other doors were poorly insulated. His response was they dont carry a flashlight that harnesses the power of the sun. I would expect a general manager to be a little cleaner, well spoken, and educated then what he was. Handed me a form and basically said that's the best he could do. In my experience general managers can do a lot. He acted like he had the authority of a basic cashier. Not sure why he had a taser on his hip either that he liked to adjust. Isn't that what security at the doors are for? O well. Menards has always been my favorite place to shop. If this isn't properly fixed I might never shop there again. Menards to me has always been an awesome store because I love buying tools. However now the stores are a shopping center within itself. They now have such a variety of merchandise, even food. Now that you can pretty much get whatever you need in Menards. They don't sell meats and stuff but canned goods, dog food, cat food, and other pet supplies are all available at Menards these days. Pretty much one Stop shopping

Bought a Troy-Bilt 2 cycle leaf blower on 7/31/23. Took in home and put it together on 8/3/23 . Added fuel with appropriate 2-cycle oil to gas ratio. Tried to start the blower using the provided directions for approximately 45 minutes. Waited for it to rest, thought maybe I flooded the engine for 30 minutes. Tried again to start it, and the pull to start cord broke off.Tried to return the blower to Menards on 8/7/23. They said since I put fuel into it and could not return it —even though there return policy states it can be returned in seven days if fuel is used. Spoke to a couple of customer service employees and a supervisor. They referred me to a repair service that handles warranty items, and since they would not return it I took it to have it repaired.The repair service has had the blower since 8/7/23 and today is 9/18/23. Still not repaired, or even replaced at this point. It’s going on six weeks since I purchased, and I still don’t have a leaf blower I paid $180 for and have never been able to use. Unacceptable.Response: You can follow your own company policies that are clearly posted at your customer service desk, but still ignored.

Great selection of items and always great prices. Had trouble finding a specific item, and the associates approached for help were very willing to help find the item, the item wasn't in the designated area and a couple of associates help look around the store to find the wanted item.

I spent over $3000.00 dollars, set up a delivery for my roofing materials. The girl that set it up told us it would be delivered late morning to early afternoon. 7:30 am the truck shows up. I was first delivery. I still needed to move a couple things in my driveway. I go to move my car and not once has my Honda ever had a dead battery. Trunk got popped somehow so light was on all night. By the time I got my jumper pack the driver set the materials behind my car and blocked me in. As I look around there he goes driving away. About 2 hours later he comes back and lets me get my car out. Worst part is the girl behind the counter says to the management, I never told him when it would be delivered. Don't you think I would of had everything moved if I knew my materials were arriving at 7:30am. So I was insulted to by basically being called a lier. Menards may have lower prices but that directly reflects the Quality of the employees they hire.

I am an apprentice in the Carpenters Program and I came here with a short list of required tools for my first set of classes. A woman asked me if I need help finding anything. I showed her my list and told her I just needed a few more items. She laughed at me every single time I asked about an item on my list; super rude and unprofessional. I ended up telling her I didn’t need her help anymore and left shortly after that. I’ll get the rest of my supplies elsewhere and I will never come here again. Menards do better at training your employees.

It's exactly what you would expect out of a Menards. I've never had an issue with anything being out of stock. Always lots of good snacks. It's never super busy, plenty of parking. The employees I've interacted with have been friendly. The bathrooms are a bit worn but never dirty.

The 11% rebate is a joke. They rarely send rebate checks and have made it impossible to contact them to rectify. I have emailed them went to the store talked to a manager.

The wife and I went to Menards on Alexis on Black Friday. They were pretty crowded. The employees were very helpful and went beyond what most employees would have. They were busy restocking items but yet took the time to help customers in a very pleasant way. Excellent shopping experience. 5 stars all the way.

I bought almost $3k worth of materials to be delivered, but before my delivery they re-sold the materials I had already PAID FOR. THAN JUSTIFIED with 1st come 1st served... but I was the first to purchase but because mine was being delivered and the other was being picked up... this was their reasoning. They have changed my delivery TWICE with no guarantees.

The store itself is not bad. But really the 15% off the bag gimmick has to go. Along w the smug gm at the front of the store. The cashier made a mistake and didn't give me the 15% off. I had to call back & haggle w the gm for 15 minutes to get $5 off a $100 purchase. Not worth the drive, the hassle, or the belittling. No apology or recompense for their error.. next time I'll skip the construction and just go to lowes or hd

I bought an air conditioner at the beginning of the season. Well, it turned out the A/C was leaking on my floor, but only after I turned it off. The leak was hard to find, and I originally thought it was a deep freezer nearby. I finally discovered the issue—the A/C drip pan was leaking in the side. I called the store shortly before 9 PM and explained my issue. By 10 PM I had a new air conditioner with no hassle at all. I am so thankful Menards was able to resolve my issue. I bought a better model A/C that is more efficient and doesn’t leak. I really appreciate them resolving this for me.

Friendly and helpful staff. I love the layout of the store--makes it easy to find stuff. And because they carry a variety of products, sometimes I don't have to stop at the grocery store. Prices are very good. Lastly, I hear they have good employee morale as well as ethical business practices.

The man working in the outside building was so helpful. He offer to help us find the items we were looking for. Unfortunately, the website had said there were 8 of one of the items we need, but they only had 1. We needed 3. This seems to be happening alot with their website ☹️

Do not bother with a delivery service . They left my delivery half in the street . After I asked to put up by my garage.An when product was delivered at 6:00am not even knowing they were here. Noticed a lot of fencing broken by metal strapping and on top of it the pallet was almost 6’0 tall and put the cement on the top . An now I have to get a ladder to take off 60 lbs bags of cement off the top of the delivery. Not happy about the 125.00 delivery charge for less than a mile away from the store.

Shopping for shower doors and enclosure, we were helped by Adalyn, a very knowledgable young lady who took the time to list out the items we were interested in, priced them, and helped us find accessories. She took the time to explain the difference in quality of the materials and really helped make the decision making process simple. Will definitely return .

This review is not about the store in general, it is about their online ordering and delivery. I ordered a refrigerator and on the website it gave me the option to choose the best day for delivery I chose Friday mind you I ordered this Wednesday night at around 6:00 or 7:00 p.m., and the delivery location is less than 2 mi from the store.... And I have not been contacted about when it will be delivered.... also I had ordered the same refrigerator from another location also to be delivered on Friday to a different delivery address, because their stock was limited, we were contacted and told that they don't do deliveries on Fridays, so we had to find someone to go pick it up last minute... I mean if you don't do deliveries on Friday so why even offer that as an option when you place an order to purchase something from their website? Spending $900 and expecting it Friday, only only to find out on Friday that they don't do deliveries on Friday...
