Typical grocery store with bakery pharmacy fresh produce frozen and canned items. Customers can be rude but the staff is always professional. There's also a gas station at the far end of the parking lot that seems to be very popular. And the location is convenient at the corner of Detroit and Glendale.

I have been to many Kroger stores in the Toledo area. I have no idea what is going on at this store but it is hands down one of the cleanest Kroger stores I have ever seen. If you wanted a picture for a perfect store, it would be this one. Whoever is in charge over there, I wish they worked at my local store. Keep up the great work.

I do instacart after my job every day at this very disrespectful and racist Kroger on Glendale. Today I got accused of stealing items I didn't steal and trapped in the parking lot by the police officer after I went back in the store the manager wouldn't help me and they figured out I wasn't stealing they want to give me an apology this stores never stocked up the employees always got rude nasty attitude I wouldn't stop at this Kroger's for nothing I'm planning on changing my Kroger's up Toledo Ohio we have to do better when I get the young lady's name I'm going to post it on here

I would rate this store as zero stars, if possible. The men's customer bathroom in the deli/produce area is always dirty and reeks of urine. The meat department does a horrible job and should probably be fired. They put raw meat directly beside produce. They are in the process of renovation but are still one of the filthiest establishments I've ever had the displeasure of visiting. I would avoid this store and the kroger brand altogether.

The parking lot, alone, is enough to make me skip coming here. And there's always at least one item I'll need that's out of stock; of all things it was hotdog buns tonight. I'm not even sure how that happens. The ONLY reason I still come here is because I live less than a mile away.

It's unlikely that I will write anything that most folks of the south end don't already know or see when they arrive at the Kroger at S. Detroit and Glendale. This Kroger has given up. The staff, besides a few, are often rude and over-worked. The store is trashed and never kept organized or clean. carts are frequently empty in the store and just left anywhere in the parking lot. Again, trash is everywhere and no one (staff or customers) bothers to use trash cans or pick up. That's not entirely on the staff, the customers don't have any pride for their community either. The store never has enough registers open, the registers usually don't allow cash back anymore. the produce area frequently has fruit flies and old produce out. Often shelves are out of stock of various items and will go this way most of the week. It would seem the management cares more about the liquor store then what remains. This is the closest and most convenient store for many in the south end. It's an embarrassment, and better off to be closed than remain in the state that it currently has been operating for too long.

Great fresh produce and groceries. They have a small liquor section. They also sell freshly made sushis packaged along with wasabi and other sauces.

Employees in store were rude and store was dirty. I will never go to the Kroger on Glendale Ave in Toledo Ohio ever again. Would have given zero stars but that was not an option.

This kroger is the worst in toledo! The shelves are always empty. What little stock they do have. Is on carts blocking the isles. Never have any regular checkout lines open early. Later in the day ,if there is any open, it's only one.If you ask for help at self checkout.They don't won't to be bothered.

My one star is for Kroger itself not for the girls that work in the pharmacy. My husband and I went for vaccines this week as we have done in recent months before. And while waiting for the counter girl as she was on the phone with another customer. These girls are running around trying to keep up with the phones, the drive thru, the counter service and vaccines. My complaint is with Kroger it self for only having 4 people working. The drive thru was constant, phones ringing off the hook, hundreds of scripts hanging that had to be filled. Its like that everytime I have been there. Sometimes early in the morning thee isnt even a check out open, only self check out. My hats off to the girls that work the pharmacy. With their workload and they are always pleasant. Kroger needs to quit paying their executives so much and put some money into more staff.

Just bought some Guacamole 🥑🍅 ☘️ dip (needed one made fast) and they reduced the size and it got $2 more expensive and whoever is making those PLEASE, chill with the lime!!!! it's supposed to be there as a kick to increase the flavors not make a lemonade 🍋, it's so SOUR my whole face went inside itself.😖Let's do better management/ whomever made the recipe for employees to follow ❤️

Customer service never seems to be at the desk, you have to wait 20 mins and track them down around the store. Today, I was told at 6:02 that it wasn't even open for the day, as the workers walked out for a break together. It's no longer worth my time to hunt down employees to attempt to pay for services, and worth fees at convenience stores / other places to avoid the delays and laziness. But there's plenty of employees out smoking / on their cellphones out front, just not enough to work. Where's the manager? Because if your employees can't run your store, shouldn't they? Avoid this popular time trap in Toledo, there are better stores, even Walmart!

**Thank You Starr💕💕**I went in to Kroger to grab some fresh produce and somehow ended up in the liquor store buying Tequila (lol). Anyway when I attempted to walk in I was greeted by a lady that was clearly under the influence yelling and screaming because the clerk wouldn’t allow her to buy more alcohol, and another female trying to get her out of the store. I was so thankful for Starr (the brave clerk) she refused to serve her. For one the lady was clearly already past her limit, and for two, there’s no telling of how much damage could have been caused had that lady had more alcohol. In this crazy world it’s refreshing to see someone who still has a conscience and who still cares about the next person. I’m sure, come tomorrow that lady will be thankful that she was refused service. **Not to mention Lord knows my Mercedes can’t take another drunk driver💀**Thank You Starr!

I have an disability and you can really see the disparity in the monies of the inner city krogers and the ones in the suburban areas. I use the motorized carts. I never have a problem at the Holland or Perrysburg locations getting a cart. Glendale and Detroit location the carts are out of order or in disrepair.

Had to make a shout out to the courtesy clerk named Kylee. She went above and beyond to try to find the one item I came to get that I had a hard time, finding she knew exactly where this item was and found the last package. She totally made my day. thanks Kylee I try to notify a manager, how you went above and beyond for me, but there wasn’t one immediately to be found I did tell the clerk at the service counter that you did a superb job. Keep up the good work. Hopefully you make somebody else’s day just like you made mine.

Well I thought the parking lot look like there was a ton of carts in it. But while I was waiting on my passengers to get their groceries, Max came out and cleared the lot within 20 minutes.Great job Max! 😎

Was going to pay my electric bill and get a few groceries, staff was rude. Especially meat department guy. so I left without spending a dime. Will not use this Kroger again. This store is a pit anyways. Maumee location better staff, nicer place. Or maybe I will go to other companies location

Pharmacy drive-thru is hardly ever open. Their excuse is "not enough staff." Ask them what "enough" is and they won't tell you. I guess having 6 employees is "not enough" on some days--- like rainy days when the big boss is on vacay. (A little birdie has told me he's told them they are NOT to close the drive-thru w/o his approval.)Whether they serve folks inside at the counter or in the drive-thru the number of clients doesn't change does it? Or, is the goal to discourage clients on certain days? Sadly, when they close the drive-thru for their own convenience the ones who are greatest affected are ppl w/ mobility problems or parents. Both are less likely to go inside bcuz the difficulties they face. But if such ppl don't go in it makes it easier for those six employees.And PS "Victoria"-- I will look around in the pharmacy as I please and don't have to tell you why or what I am looking at. Don't like it? Build walls.

On two separate occasions, shopping here, I've bought expired food. This has happened within the last two months. Never mind all the other problems this kroger has, now I have to check everything I buy to make sure it's still good.

Things get alittle crazy parking lots wise however I love this store. I prefer to go in but I've had pharmacy delivery curb side and have went in. Their sanitizing station always there full. And the employees are nice and make sure you have all you've ordered before leaving which I find good. No one wants to get home and not have an item they need and ordered. Keep up the good work.Ur loyal customer.Ms.sanchez

I love Kroger's. It's always a great experience when I shop here. This location in particular is my home store, so I am pretty familiar with the faces. The employees are always helpful, and professional. This location closes at 11 PM. Its clean and convenient, but can get pretty busy. Best time to go is early in the morning or late nights.
