Absolutely love Hot Dog Pet Salon! They always do a great job on our German Shepherd, Ben! We recently took in Ben’s mama, Lady, who is a GS as well. Today was her first visit with them and she looks great! I appreciate their patience with my dogs as they are both very hyper lol! Thank you for all you do!

I recently moved here from North Carolina, so I was expecting to have a longer wait time as a new client. They got me in the week I called and were very friendly.They did a fantastic job on my cat, Cali! Her fur is weird and mats easily, so I wanted a Lion cut on her. She is evenly cut and they even did a little touch up on her mane. I also don’t see any cuts or marks on her. They also only took about an hour which was quick since my girl is fussy.As a graduate school student, I loved how reasonably priced they were. It was $80 for a full shave, bath, and nails. I would definitely recommend!

My husband & I are new to the Toledo area. Unsure of where to take our poodle mix by word of mouth so I looked to Google reviews and this Dog Grooming Salon did not disappoint. Customer service & groomer's are amazing!! My dogs hair looks so spiffy!! Very happy & we will be returning!

My Cavalier is elderly, and these wonderful groomers did such a great job with her...making sure she was comfortable and happy. She looks beautiful & she came out tail wagging, happy as could be.

I can’t recommend this place enough! Our dog Moco has a lot of anxiety surrounding grooming and vet appointments in general (he is a rescue, so this could be from prior experience), but the team at Hot Dog pet salon are SO good with him, and very patient. The prices are so reasonable for the services the provide. He smells and looks great for weeks following our appointment! And for a senior dog, that is really saying something! I am so thankful we found this place. 10/10!!!

I love, love, love this place! I take my dog here for his grooming! They are always friendly and do an exceptional job with the cuts. I typically get personalized designs (and they never fail). The pricing is great and my pup always leave happy, excited ready to take on the day…GREAT JOB HOT DOG, ZERO COMPLAINTS THIS WAY!!!

I have taken my cat and dog there. The best groomers I have come across yet. I have a mini doxie-poo...with the hair of a poodle. They are the ONLY ones that have groomed him so he looks good. Will return to them every time.

One star for this Pet Salon doesn't look like the same dog. They cut how they want without asking the owner. Shaved my fur baby down to skin & gave him a stupid looking tail. (Not what we discussed with the groomer-Holli) Charged over 100.00 for this cut.

I took my goldendoodle for a cut and showed them a picture of how I wanted my dog’s face to look and I told them to cut a little less than half of all his hair and he was shaved and his face was nowhere near the picture I should them! She felt him in front of me to see if he was matted at all and she said she could tell he was slightly matted on his back legs and that she didn’t think they were that bad and she told me if they needed to shave him down that she would give me a call, i never received a call. I told her I wanted his tail cut down bc it hasn’t been cut since he been born and he’s a year and 6 months now and his tail was still the same length. I asked for them not to cut his eyebrows and they did that. With all that being said I’m not mad because my dog was shaved I’m mad because I was told I would receive a call if anything was to change and never received one and everything I asked them to do they did not!

I recently welcomed a 10 yr old Maltese into my family. This is the first time I've ever had to deal with a groomer and they were wonderful! He came out looking so adorable! The staff were friendly and I felt safe leaving my pup there. I would recommend this place and we will be going back!

I took my two pups here after recently moving to OH. It’s hard to find a good groomer to even trust with my fur babies. I dropped them off, and they both were done in 1.5 hours. My dog’s bump on her back was nicked, and my other dog’s stomach got cut. I included the picture of his stomach. The groomer didn’t have the decency to tell me they cut my pups.

I take my two dogs here for nail trims, and they're great with them, even though I know they're both a handful. They're both seniors and one has been having back troubles. They understand that he's a little crabby sometimes and they try to be as quick and gentle as possible with him. It's very much appreciated!

We were recommended Hot Dog’s from our previous groomer who no longer works with cats. Our cat went in for a full shave and looks great!! Fair priced, nice employees. I personally loved the text communication which included an update that she would be done in about 15 minutes, giving me time to finish up errands and head to the shop. Thank you!

This was our first visit to Hot Dog's Pet Salon on Douglas. I was not completely sure what to expect because our little 14 pd, 14 year old Cockapoo Buster has gotten to the point he does not like to be groomed. I half expected to have them call me to come get him unfinished. But Holly (I think was her name) did a fantastic job, despite his hissy fits, and trying to bite her and anything else he could get his teeth into. He had missed two previous tries at another shop that he has been going to for 14 years. So thank you so much ladies, I truly thank you for the awesome job. He looks great. Happy Happy Holidays.

Best grooming in town! I have a goldendoodle who I keep on a strict six week schedule as I like to leave him fluffy. These girls go above and beyond for my Oscar. I also bring in my chiweenie for nail clipping because he doesn't let me do it and he loves coming to see the girls.

I have been taking my 2 Golden Retrievers to be groomed by Holly for over 12 years, even before her Hot Dogs Salon existed. My Goldens are my babies, the greatest thing in my life...I would NOT take them anywhere else! Not only are Holly, Rita and staff FRIENDLY, FUN, EFFICIENT and GREAT DOG people, they are also EXCELLENT at the whole Grooming process. My Goldens have always loved them. I am SO VERY grateful for Holly and her staff and ALL they have done for me and my fur babies.

I have a 5 month old puppy and this was his first grooming. They kept him there for 2 hours to make sure that he would not have a bad experience. He didn't tolerate the Clippers this time there's always next time) but they were able to get his feet, face and sani areas done. They also did his nails and said ear cleaning was included. He was washed and dried and smelled really good! I'm definitely taking him back!

I am giving 5 stars due to I only go in to get my boys nails cut. But they always get him right in, do a great job and even file and round them off. They are great with my dog and he like having it done. He is a Doberman so no haircut needed. But when I go in, the dogs they have done look great. I would certainly say try them out.

I always take my three dogs here for nail trims, and the staff always does a great job (even though my medium and large dogs hate nail trims and can be very difficult). And the price is amazing, cheapest nail trim I have found :) Also being able to just walk in and not have to schedule an appt is so convenient and easy.

I have a Jack Russell and she is hard to get to sit still enough to cut her toenails. These guys had it done in no time and they only charge $10. Alexis can get around so much better now.

They were wonderful I would recommend this place to anyone this is definitely where I will be going to get my dog's nail trim versus going to the vet and paying almost twice as much it was my first time there and I was very pleased

Holly and her team are great! They took great care of my dogs. Grooming and nail care. One of my dogs is terrified of almost everyone but she likes Holly and that tells me a lot. We recently moved to Florida and not being able to take my fur babies to Hot Dog is one of my biggest problems with leaving Ohio.

These girls are great with my cat! Of all the places in the Greater Toledo area, this is the only place that could and would groom my Maine Coon. Reasonable price and great, consistent work. Quick turnaround too, I usually just hang around the area for a meal for an hour and they have her done. If you have a cat who is feisty, they can handle her well 🙂
