I’ve never owned a long-haired cat so I didn’t realize the issues they could get, matting and unable to groom well. I decided to make an appointment at grateful Pet and will continue to go there. My cat is already a bit of a nervous cat so I was worried about how things would go. She came home and it was like she was a brand new cat. She looked great and she was so happy!

The only reason they are getting 1 star is because I don't have a choice. But I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. They were supposed to do a sanitary trim on my cat, they did not trim anywhere around his behind but they mutilated his tail. He has also had diarrhea and vomiting since he's been back home. The entire place smells horribly. They are way over priced and I was told the groomer doesn't even know how to do anything but bath animals. So no my. At has a bald tail, he's bald all around his pen!s and balls area but has tons of hair still around his booty (which is what they were supposed to trim) and diarrhea and vomiting since he's been home. Save yourself the money and find a better groomer. These people are not it.

Amazing job on my 2 mini Australian Shepard’s! Super soft, silky & brushed out perfectly! Plus smell nice & light. My boys are happy ( Sunny & Sky ) THANK YOU!My only 2 down sides is, I find staff ( only dealt with one behind counter ) Is not the friendliest.. I tried communicating just general conversation as a customer & she wasn’t to inclined or seem to be interested. Kind of cold feeling.I also feel there nails needed better attention. Still tapping when they walk on hard wood floor.BUT I really do believe they did a good job, fair prices & nice atmosphere for my boys!Hopefully my honesty is appreciated ♥️

They are so good with my dog. She always comes out beautiful and smells great. Also, I love the bows they put in her hair. I've been here twice. They did great each time.

I've had two cat groomers over the last 5 years. Poor experiences with both, (one kept telling me they were "seeing fleas" and wanted to upsell me on flea treatments when I knew my cat didn't have fleas, the other could never remember NOT to get my cat wet. She's like a gremlin - super sweet when she's dry, nasty when she gets wet - so they complained when she freaked out when they tried to bathe her) i decided to make the drive to Grateful Pet Grooming (40 min) and was not disappointed! They listened to what I wanted, did it and were finished in under 30 min!! Everyone was great. They have a new loyal customer!!!

We have brought my Husky in about 3-4 times to this place. Every time, he comes out shedding a BUNCH of hair and stinking. Not sure if it’s just wet dog or what they do so I’ll let the scent slide. However, even when we have requested when calling in and scheduling AND dropping him off, they NEVER TRIM HIS PAW PADS! It’s very frustrating paying for a service and your one request is overlooked. I’ve had to walk back in every time to inform them they did not do my request and they seem irritated that I’m walking back in. Do it the first time I ask and maybe we wouldn’t have that problem. No longer going here.Edit: Sent the company an email since they responded to my review. Will update with what the response from them is.

As you might imagine, it is very difficult to find someone willing to attempt to groom your cat. Grateful pet not only bathed her but shaved her as well. I felt their price was very reasonable.

I've been taking my dogs here for a couple years now. They are pretty cheap compared to pet stores. The staff is always so nice. I've never had a bad experience with them. I highly recommend this place

Haircuts are decent enough. Prices are affordable so you pay for what you get. My only problem is every time I come here the staff are very unfriendly and make me feel unwelcome. I don’t want to feel like a burden for bringing my pet in.

Clowee is a Female Toy Poodle. I called and asked for a “Lion Cut” that I was told they can do it. I was told that because she is a puppy she might be nervous. Clowee has been going to the groomers all along so I did not see her having any issues. I said I wanted her nails clipped and face, paws and legs completely shaved and cleaned and Pom poms in the correct areas. Clowee now looks like a Old Male dog!!! She scratched my arms up because her nails weren’t done. I feel that I was misled to believe that they could give me the Lion Cut I asked for. I also feel that if you were going to cut her anyways-clean her up right but why make her look like a male dog!!! This is very sad and I made another appointment with another groomer.

Grateful Pet was able to get my dog in for grooming the next day! Very efficient and impressive. Another place I called couldn't get her in until mid April (2 months) and wanted $60. Grateful pet groomed her for $40 and she was done in 2 hours and looked and smelled great. Service was quick and professional. Picking her up was seamless even with multiple customers also there for pickup at the time. Thank you Grateful Pet for taking great care of Peaches!

Last Saturday was the first time we had ever been to this establishment. It was an awesome experience. Our groomer Tiffany did the best job ever on our Pomeranian and what I like most is she don't use clippers she only use scissors therefore it does not scare my dog. Will definitely be back every 6 weeks if not sooner.

Took my 11.5 year old cat in today for his first ever grooming! The ladies there did a great job. Parker (my cat) looks and smells great! They even gave him a little bandana and it's absolutely adorable. Parker and I will definitely be coming back in the future!

Took my 11 month old Shorkie today for her first official grooming. Katelyn was great. I explained to her that Indy had never really been groomed before and wasn’t sure how she would tolerate the process. After showing her pictures and explaining what I wanted I left. I received a phone call letting me know she would be ready in 30 minutes, which was nice as gave me plenty of time to get her. Upon arriving I was greeted immediately . They brought my Indy out and she looked fantastic.i could’ve be happier with the whole process. I highly recommend Grateful Pets, especially Katelyn. They have made me a very happy fur baby Mommy. Went here and they charged us $50 for a bath and nail clipping when the appointment was set for a full grooming. They did not cut a single hair on our dogs body because they said he “ wouldn’t stop peeing”. Worst service we have ever received and we won’t be going back. Waste of our time and money

I was looking for a new groomer for my 13 yr old Persian cat . I chose Grateful Pet Grooming salon because they advertised that they groomed cats .Boy, am I sorry . I requested to have my Persian bathed , blown out , and his back nails trimmed if needed .I also requested that he have a bow as a finishing touch to the service . After dropping him off for his appointment @ 12:30 I received a call @ 2:30 call to pick him up at 2:45 with a reminder that they were closing @ 3:00 . I arrived at 2:45 and the groomer pulled him out of a cage and began to brush him on his back and then proceeded to put him back in his carrier . She made the comment that he had a lot of fur ( duh , he’s a Persian , they have a lot of fur ) ,and that he didn’t mind the blower like most cats. I paid my bill of $37 and tipped the groomer ( Sierra) $10 . I thought WOW that’s reasonable because my last groomer charged $60 . Let me add that I would still be using my $60 groomer if not for the fact that she quit where she was working and I can’t locate her. . Well, I certainly understand why I was charged less . When I got my pet home I noticed his eyes full of matter , and his fur partially dry and no bow . I will NEVER use this business again . If you do not service cats you should not advertise that you do . As a consumer I will pay a higher price for a service if I receive the service I requested . My cat is not difficult , I groom him daily so he is not matted or tangled , he is used to going to the grooming salon. There is no reason that he should have been released in the condition he was other than sub standard work and or a staff that was in a hurry to close the salon and get home . WHAT A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!

I have taken both of my dogs here for a couple of years but I will never go back. Took my dog in for a full groom and when I got her home, both of her ears were bloody. When I called I was told its because they were matted so badly. Her ears were not matted at all. Something should have been said to me when I picked her up. No one said a word...

They did a great job on my labradoodle puppy's first grooming! They were able to get me in on a Saturday morning and were quick, reasonable, skillful, and listened to my requests. He's gotten several compliments on his new doo.

We visited Grateful Pet Salon on a Saturday morning and I was happy to get in without an appt.My large older dog had a bath, and her nails clipped. She seemed to be very calm when I picked her up which is unusual for this kind of service. I can only attribute it to the care that she received at Grateful Pet Grooming Salon. She smelled great and her nails were shorter.I will definitely go back with my other dog.

Took in my cats for flea bath and groom, they called me within an hour saying one of my cats was having a bad reaction to the flea shampoo. Came and got her, rushed her to the vet, had to put her down. Rushed us to pick up the rest of our cats she said they didn't like the dryer, so she did not dry or comb any of my cats. We dropped them off at 9:00am and picked them up at 1:00 because they were rushing us and don't have any set hours. She said since she did not comb them there were still fleas on them but that they were all dead. I told her my cats love being combed and then she asked if I'd like her to comb them , I said yes unhappily she complied and said it be a few more minutes. In the mean time I handed them back the wet towels my cat was wrapped in that we had to put down. The girl at the counter asked how she was doing I told her she was she didn't make it she said oh. She proceeds to tell me my bill was $275.00 didn't offer a discount or refund for the dead cat, and then has the nerve to ask if I'd like to leave a tip! Very unprofessional, poor quality of work and found live fleas on my cats when we got home. The worst groomers in Toledo!

This place is absolutely awesome!! The girls there are so personable and respectful not only over the phone but in person!! I have a 170lb Cane Corso who will only go to a certain girl there, Caitlyn. She is amazing and patient. We also take our other 40 lb dog Beabull there as well who loves it!! They're affordable and do a great job!!
