Absolutely love this animal hospital/vet. I visited them on my guinea pigs’ last day. They were so comforting and kind to me while giving the news of it being my little man’s last day. They even went as far as following up after the passing with a card 🏼 I wish I found them earlier so they could’ve been my Harold’s primary care givers. If you own a guinea pig leave birds and exotic animals and come here. It’s way more personal and caring

My family has taken our pets to Graber's ever since Dr. Dale was first starting out and now I do the same. Dr. Cathy and Dr. Steve and their staff are wonderful, taking care of each and every pet I bring in as if they are their own. That kind of compassion and caring isn't found just anywhere, and I would (and do)recommend Graber's to every pet family I know.

Everyone there was great, from the front desk to the doctor. I of course was probably their worst client in a decade because my dog pooped her diaper(she was in heat) so I had the whole office smelling like diarrhea, she bled all over, and they were nothing but caring and compassionate. My dog doesn't really like people(I think she was beat before I got her) so she wasn't the easiest to deal with but the doctor managed to take blood from her and give her 3 shots without incident. Overall wasn't my favorite experience nor hers but she needed it and round 1 is done. I would definitely recommend Dr. Graber and staff to anyone looking for a new vet. If they can deal with mine, they can deal with yours.

Graber's Animal Hospital honestly has been the animal hospital my family has used for years. I have to say this is probably the worst place to take your pets in the entire city of Toledo. Every time we have gone, we have been severely overcharged on every front. Every other animal hospital have quoted under their prices for everything. Shots, claws, tests, etc. Dogs and cats. On a near everytime basis, they have been wrong in their dianosises on our pets. They quoted one of our pets with just being overweight, while in actuality, she had cushions disease, as told by 3 other veterinary hospitals in the greater Toledo area. This is one of many examples. I really wish more people could see this and would go to other animal doctors. I can't stress enough how awful they are. I have never one time gone here and been happy with it. They get two stars instead of one because they have a very friendly cat that roams the office area.

Only giving a 3 ☆ review because I get all of my dogs joint supplements and lean treats here and when I called up to get more joint treats, I was told by the girl who answered the phone, that my dog needed to be seen for a check up before they could give more joint treats ($54/ container). Then I was told (by the actual dr) after the well check appt, (which was not cheap, either) that I didn't need an appt in order to get her joint treats.... I understand they like to see your pet once a year, etc, but my dog is in very good health (she is 9 yrs old) and just needs joint supplements. I've taken alllll of my animals here over the years, and they are VERY good, so I recommend their services but do not appreciate being bamboozled into an appt when it was unnecessary.

I am so glad to have reconnected recently with Dr. Cathy Graber. My 13yo kitty had been smacking her lips for months and I suspected she had dental issues. Yet, 2 other vets assured me her teeth were fine while she continued losing weight, and a third never even looked in her mouth albeit I said I suspected she had dental issues. One even told me she was dying (perhaps of cancer/lymphoma) and so we were switching to palliative care, including a pain med.I finally was able to get an appt. with Dr. Graber last week, who immediately noted a missing front tooth and exposed root, plus a couple of other decayed teeth that needed pulling. It’s hard to trust other vets after this experience, especially when my old kitty’s symptoms were pawing at her mouth, weight loss and a terrible breath. Dr. Graber is THE best in the region, plus the staff is awesome, too. Thank you!

Got an appt. right away they took care of our sick kitty and it was half the cost of our old vet who we were not happy with. My Mom and I transferred all of our records immediately after the first visit . I highly recommend them.

If I could I would give you a zero star!! We took our dog Ellie there to get spayed after dropping her off 2 hours later they called to say she has already been spayed but continued to do exploratory surgery anyway and charged us more money what they quoted us!! Grabers will NOT get our services again!! Shame on you no phone call or anything!

If I could give zero stars I would. I've been taking my 4 year old dog here for a few months for throwing up and dry heaving they kept giving her medicine and doing tests at first they said bronchitis then it could be pancreatitis so they gave her some special food to eat but still didn't really know what was wrong with her after I spent almost $1,000. I took her to another vet yesterday because she was breathing funny they had to put her on oxygen and did an xray and found a tumor that was cancer and she was struggling to breathe, they had to put her down. They had her medical records faxed over from Grabers but in the papers it said nothing about her throwing up or anything which was the whole reason she went to Grabers to begin with. A lot of stuff that was happening to her wasn't on her paperwork at all. I feel like they were just trying to get money out of me and now my pup is dead. I will NEVER go to Grabers ever again

I have been taking my two cats to Graber’s Animal Hospital for over 18 years. Dr. Graber and his staff have been nothing but compassionate and helpful over the past few years as my cats have declined. It is evident how much Dr. Graber cares for his pet patients and is devoted to his career as a veterinarian. Additionally, he is very knowledgeable about veterinary medicine and I trust him to have my pets best interest at heart. I would highly recommend Graber’s Animal Hospital to anyone in the area.

My family has been taking our animals to Grabers since the 60s. First their father, a lovely man, and now Steve and Cathy. I wouldn’t take my animals anywhere else. They have always consistently given me great service, great advice, and thoughtful answers. they are both just very professional. It is a very very busy office and if u have to wait it is because they are giving unimpeachable care to another animal that needs them. I ask questions and they explain or discuss any concerns I may have.

The namesake vets are both extremely uncaring about the animals and unfriendly. I kept going to them for years because they were close and because my family went when I was a kid, but enough became enough. They never can figure out what’s wrong with any of my animals. Steve Graber told me to put down my dog, however, I realized in talking to him that he hadn’t even gone through my dogs file. He didn’t even know if they had done certain tests yet he told me it was time to put her down. They ignored my suggestions. I went with my gut, didn’t put her down, bought a humidifier and in 2 days she was cured. After $3500 spent with them. Now I have a cat that I’m told all 3 vets examined inside of his mouth in the back of the office where I couldn’t see. Why do they ALWAYS do exams and shots in the back where we can’t see??? Two office visits later and already over $300 and them wanting to do $200 bloodwork, they haven’t a clue what’s wrong. After my family and I going there for decades, I asked, since I’m battling cancer, if I could make payments if this were to get pricey, they said no. That was it. I found a new vet. Within seconds the new vet (unfortunately) found a tumor under my cats tongue. SECONDS. I’ve wondered for years if Graber were scammers and now I’m convinced that they are. THREE of them couldn’t find a tumor in my cats mouth? BS.

I have been taking my dogs to Graber’s for about 25 years. Both Dr Steve and Dr Kathy have been a wonderful support to me, as well as my daughter when our beloved pets were ill. When, at the end, they needed to be relieved of their suffering the dogs were with us, calm and unafraid. Hand written sympathy notes followed. The care my dogs received at Graber’s led to my two labs living to be 14 and almost 14. I could not recommend them more highly!

I switched to Graber's from another vet who was wonderful but had the WORST staff as far as customer service and friendliness. The way you are treated by the STAFF, not just the doctors, makes a huge difference, at least to me. I have been completely satisfied with all of the vets at Graber's as well as the staff.The vets are kind, compassionate, and willing to give you their time. This is so important to me. The staff at the desk are always respectful and accommodating.I am glad I made the switch and would highly recommend them to anyone, especially Dr. Steve and Dr. Cristin!!

We had an emergency situation with our yellow lab and there was no hesitation of getting our dog in ASAP! They were so informative and had so much compassion for us and our baby! The whole staff was great, and kept us updated through out the day about her situation. I forgot to mention that we weren't even clients of this establishment. I am very grateful for Grabers Drs. And staff. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and know you won't be disappointed!

My dog had been attacked by 3 pitbulls... Dr Steve and the staff were great. They used technologies I didn't know existed. My dog healed wonderfully and loves going to the vet! I highly recommend Graber's to anyone!

The staff are friendly and efficient, especially during COVID. My cat was seen within a hour of me calling (she had an acute issue). I was very grateful they were able to squeeze her into the schedule. Dr S Graber called me over the phone and gave me sound, actionable medical advice. Will continue seeing this group.

I've gone to Dr. Kathy Graber for more than 20 years. My cats are pretty angry by the time we arrive, yet she's always patient and thorough. I've also needed to euthanize pets, and she was extremely respectful and empathetic. Prices are very reasonable, and I appreciate the 10% discount.

I have been going to Grabers for a very long time, even when they were on Sylvania Avenue. I take all of my cats to Dr. Steve and they receive the best care, and he takes the time to explain everything and answer my questions. The front desk are friendly both in person and on the phone. The vet techs are the best too.
