I recently visited Gabe's with high hopes of finding some great deals, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While the staff at Gabe's were genuinely friendly and helpful, the store itself was incredibly cluttered, unorganized, and overwhelmingly chaotic.One positive aspect of Gabe's was the friendly and welcoming nature of their staff. They were attentive, approachable, and willing to assist customers. Their helpfulness made the shopping experience a bit more bearable amidst the chaos.However, the main drawback of Gabe's was the state of the store itself. The clutter and lack of organization made it challenging to navigate through the aisles and find specific items. It seemed as if merchandise was haphazardly placed on shelves, making it difficult to locate the desired products. This lack of organization created a sense of overwhelming chaos, which took away from the overall shopping experience.The overwhelming clutter also made it challenging to fully explore the available options. It felt like there was an excessive amount of merchandise crammed into the store, without enough space for proper display or browsing. This cluttered environment detracted from the enjoyment of shopping and made it harder to find what I was looking for.Furthermore, the overall lack of organization made it difficult to compare prices and evaluate the quality of products. Without a clear and organized layout, it was challenging to assess the value and make informed purchasing decisions.In conclusion, while the staff at Gabe's were friendly and pleasant to interact with, the store's cluttered and unorganized nature greatly impacted the shopping experience. The overwhelming chaos and difficulty in finding desired items overshadowed any potential savings or deals that Gabe's may offer. I would recommend Gabe's management to prioritize improving organization and tidiness to enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.

Can't believe there is a Gabes in Ohio!! Shopped at 2 of them in Tennessee all the time. Love these stores. This one in Toledo has the most honest employees I've seen in a long time. A big thankyou to them AND the kind lady who found my phone and thanks to the front end folks who paiged me to get it.

The prices are fantastic but the store is a complete mess, everything is mixed in where it doesn't belong. There was product laying all over the floor.They were not busy, why aren't employees picking up and putting product where it belongs?The staff was very friendly

Gabe's is an awsome clothing store at affordable prices. The selection here is huge and the staff is friendly. The store is very clean and accommodates to your every need. I like the stores music as it sets the tone to your shopping experience. I highly recommend Gabe's for anyone looking to shop for good prices.

Total dump! No organization whatsoever. Filthy and messy. No visible sales staff anywhere. It felt like a huge untidy flea market. Poor quality items. Never again!

This store reminds me of "Burlington coat factory", you can find great deals on clearance for 1$, 3$, or 6$. They sell women,men and kids clothes and home goods. Brands like Donna Karan, express, Nike, Steve Madden and etc. store itself is very clean, check out is always fast.

Great deals on what they carry, although I wish they carried hardware items as well. Helpful employees. Reminds me of what Big Lots used to be.

Gabe's is a GREAT place to go to for deals on everyday items. They're a little unorganized most of the time, however, I always find countless gems when I'm in here shopping. I frequent this store and it's certainly my favorite for good deals and quality merchandise.

Poor customer service. I went in yesterday to kill a little time and checked out the clearance section. I found a few items, and a couple of drinks at checkout. The cashier seemed to have an attitude because the red sticker did not match my item😂 but I don’t work here you do! Her (middle aged black female with heavy lashes and crochet braids) and her co worker were implying that I switched the tags. 🙄 just to save $3 dollars I don’t think so no one went to price check and I still bought the items because it’s Gabes and everything is cheap but I’ll just stick to 1 visit a year. I was more annoyed than mad with the service but it’s Gabes not Saks🤭

Found a few nice items...store needs to be cleaned and organized. Edit below.Edit: Found this luggage at a great price. Purchased a smaller suitcase at Kohl's for the same price as the larger suitcase pictured here, thankfully I was able to return it and purchase this one!

I went clothes shopping for my husband without my husband. It was a dream because I found so many clothes for him for half the cost. I bought at least 14 tops, a 6 pack socks, boxers, hunting gloves and Ear buds for myself for a 80 dollars. The long sleeve shirts were mostly Carhartt and short sleeve were Hanes. He really liked everything and was surprised his socks were black because he said, Oh wow I've never had black socks before. He wears a 14 which are hard to find. He's very tall. The only downside was I couldn't find any jeans that fit but it's ok . This store is by far one of my favorites when clothes shopping even for myself. If I went to Walmart it would have been at least 300.00

So many great things for great low prices! The ladies are so nice and always want to help! My husband has been buying low price items for his car show to support people with MS. This store has been so helpful in the time of need

Large selection of clothing and a small amount of household items. Good prices and quality. Easy and convenient parking. A red light on Monroe Street makes entry and exit easy.

Lied about calling me back on a job. #1 don't lie to people. Some put their life on hold in hopes that they will finally have a job. Organization skills in this place is just awful. I could organize this whole store in 3 days but they never gave me a chance after saying that they would literally call me. So I kind of feel like this company isn't worth working for and shopping at the location in Sylvania isn't worth it either. However the location in Perrysburg is rather organized easier to shopping and they haven't lied

Very nice well kept clothing department. My very first time here I accidentally left my phone on the car. The ladies was very sweet helping me locate it. After running through their store frantically searching. Definitely went a second time. I love it. ❤️❤️

I absolutely love games.... Love their clothes.. Very reasonable for their prices... I bought three pairs of jeans and two packs of socks with 11 pairs in it under 40 bucks..

This store needs to be in a bigger space like others I've been to. It's a crowded hot mess. But...if you are patient, especially in the clothes areas, you will find some hella good bargains! The only reason I'm giving a low rating is because their bathrooms are usually dingy, but today they were disgusting. I get they're busy, but the bathrooms need to be a priority. And when you let them know that they are so bad that they are note usable, they roll their eyes and sigh. No need for attitude. You expect customers to be nice to you, so do the same!

I had no idea what it was when I first walked in, but I had just been to Marshall's, which is also a discount store. The quality of the goods and the brands is below Marshall's/TJMaxx. I suppose it has its target customer, but it is not me. I do not foresee myself going there, again. On a positive note, plenty of free parking.

We enjoyed visiting Gabe's and found a large variety in selection. The store is similar to what you might expect that to t.j Maxx or Burlington coat factory with a large variety of clothes, outerwear, housewares, etc. The prices were good. In the staff were friendly.

Torn on this review. I love the selection and the prices are absolutely great. However, the cleanliness of the store definitely does not seem to be a concern to the staff. It would also be helpful if we were able to find an employee once in awhile when you have a question.
