This grocery store is too overpriced. For example, the barbecue sauce was $4 per bottle (the containers were not large either), too difficult to find items, and I could not take the cart to my car with several bags full of groceries. I was so frustrated 😠.

The the staff are lazy e.g., the bag clerk sat on a window ledge while senior citizens and disabled customers, who have canes, walkers, personal injuries and physical ailments, had to put their carts in the carts. Over charged prices, like vultures, feed the and sucking the life out of the impoverished community. The services are included in the price. Typical. Alibaba and the forty thieves. The government needs to investigate all of them.

Witness an cashier threatened a customer. She was very rude and call the customer out her name. She also was very rude to an elderly lady. The manager did nothing about it. I even called to complain and the manager took the side of the cashier side and hung up on me. Will never shop there ever again.

I lived in the neighborhood over 50 yrs ago. I remember the different names of the store now called Family Food Center. I stopped in recently and was very impressed with the updates, the new owners and the friendly staff as I looked around I saw fresh produce decently priced and surprisingly fresh, the kinds of fresh meats great for any soul food dish, spices I have been looking for at other stores and couldn't find. I will be coming back to Family Foods at least once or twice a month. Thank you for keeping this well maintained grocery store in this neighborhood.

This is an okay store for our neighborhood. They have sales, I like buying the meat and so far the chicken wings have been a good price.I go there to fill up on things like cream cheese, grapes, vegetables, sour cream, hot sauce, things like that, but that's normally it.

I purchased orange juice 2 months ago it was spoiled i returned it. I purchased some fruit bowls last week the bowls were full of hair that came off the floor very nasty butcher my tomatoes were roten. I rarely shop here unless i HAVE TO and im never going back!!! Very unsatisfied costumer

My dislikes with this store is a lot of their meat prices are very high when you go outside to try to get your groceries to the car you get stopped by these big old poles because they don't have people to go out and get carts so they block you in and you have to take a chance and pull your car up to the poles to get your groceries if you have a lot as I usually do and someone hitting your vehicle or blocking you to get out of the parking lot

THE STORE HAS BEEN UPDATED AND REMODELED AND IT LOOKS GREAT. I NOTICED THE FRIENDLY EMPLOYEES AND THE EMPLOYEES BEING VERY HELPFUL TO ME AS THEY DID IN THE PAST. THE FAMILY FOID STORE WAS EXTREMELY CLEAN EVERYWHERE I LOOKED. I LIVED IN THIS NEIGHBORHOOD FOR 33 YEARS AND IT WAS A HOMECOMING FOR ME AND I WAS HAPPY TO SEE PEOPLE THAT I REMEMBER AS FAMILY. They cleaned the store!!! It's brighter, smells better, &they still have the best price on greens & sweet potatoes. I haven't been inside the store for a while due to the environment now i don't mind going there.

Improvement recently with new management. But it still needs work. Some items are way over priced. And some items are passed expiration date. On the upside, cashiers are friendly. They carry groceries unavailable for purchase form big chain grocery stores. My most recent trip May 2, the young cashier too busy texting on her phone to do her job. Bad business.

If i could give less than 1 star I would first of all SOME of the employees there are very rude . I will never shop there again or recommend any business to them. I went there to get my Wic and they didn't have the groceries I needed to get on my wic and then before that she scanned some cereal and I told her forget it I will go somewhere else and she never put my cereal back on my Wic . they are unprofessional in that place .
