I stopped by this store yesterday while laundry was washing. Picked up a drink and a box of Hostess coffee cakes. This morning I grabbed the coffee cakes and took one from the box and realized it wasn't as sort as normal. I looked at the box and the sell by date was February 13 2024. How can a business leave food on the shelf for 6 weeks past the sell by date?

I had the best experience as soon as I walked into the store. A young man named Anthony Bishop immediately greeted me with a warm hello. Told me as soon as I was ready to hit the bell and he'd be right up. He was continually working to make the store nice. I accidentally grabbed the wrong bag if cat food and he ran right over to help me. He is Definitely a keeper and should get a raise for his personality akone.

Let me tell you about this Family Dollar store.Just had a situation where my 67 year old mother was shopping at this place when she suddenly had to use the bathroom. She asked the nearest employee where the bathroom is, and explained she had to pee really bad. The employee told her that they didn’t have a bathroom. When she asked where they go to use the bathroom, they said that they have a bathroom but it isn’t for public use.My mother begged the assistant store manager to please let her use the bathroom and she STILL refused to allow her to go. She even told them she would leave her wallet and everything at the register and they could accompany her to the bathroom!!!!Alisha STILL REFUSED.My mother ended up peeing herself. She was so humiliated! She started crying and these heartless people did nothing. Alisha stood there and would not allow my 67 year old mother to go pee. My mother is not a dirty person. She takes pride in her appearance and hygiene and is very traumatized by this.My friends and family will never EVER spend money in this store or another “Family” Dollar store and I hope others see this and take heed.Thank you Alisha AND Family Dollar for taking away another human beings dignity.Shameful.

Oh they took my review down,..classy🤔😂 when I put on how I had to call the police on them because she tried to accuse me of stealing!! the manager at that time a year ago and treated me like I was a thief and I never stole anything in my life from a store so I told her when she told me to get out I said no I want to see the video she said no so I said okay I'll go outside I'll call the police and that's what I did... Then the cop gets there goes in for a good 20 minutes comes out and says ok well we do see you pick stuff up and keep putting stuff down and other stuff I said my point I put it down!! I don't steal!! I have severe OCD and more medical issue... and...Why I put it down because my mother called me from my apartment behind the Family Dollar and said my ice cream was melting so i put my stuff down went got my ice cream and went right backI put the three items I had down left can them items then she accused me of stealing told me I wasn't allowed back in the store well long story short the cop said well i see you picking stuff up and put it back I said yea point!! I put it back! and then he said well can't you go across the street to save problems ?? I said why why should I have to when it's higher price it right but nobody's ever contacting me nobody's ever cared I put this on here numerous of times and now I see you guys have erased my review?? Guilt??? So once again my phone number I would love to leave but I want to find a manager or owner only to speak with me if so they can email me at eastybeasty419@gmail.com.. thank you

Good deals but the cashier's never know what's on sale and never double check before cashing out costumers so they won't be over charged ..they need more knowledge training about sale changes

Not in the best of locations. Parking lot full of trash. Sketchy people hanging around outside. The store had a lot of variety, but it took me a minute to find what I needed because the layout of things was kind of all over the place.
