They just got a truck in so was stocking shelves yet both employees were so helpful, answered all my questions and were such a breath of fresh air I needed💯💜 I found so many amazing deals I never knew about the $1 area was able to get a lot of things I needed thanks to deals. I never used to go because always cswas closed yet last 3 times I've tried it was open and same cashier (name starts with a "V") who greets everyone with a smile and is so cheerful (thank you again for being you!!!) was working. The woman stocking (name.starts with an "A") was so helpful to me and couple other customers also it was a nice experience so tysvm💜💯

Store is never open it hasn’t been open in weeks now and when it was you can’t even get a cart down the aisle because it’s so cluttered due to them being so short staffed

Customer service is really low, employees act like your bothering them even at the checkout and all the isles are full of boxes and stuff that's supposed to be stocked on the shelves.

The store is horribly under staffed. Its been closed for 5 days straight. I applied since i have management experience and followed up the next day. They told me that i didnt meet the qualifications which makes no sense since ive had nothing but great management history with multi million dollar businesses. I called corporate to see what the deal was and i couldnt even understand the foreign employee and they hung up on me twice.. so i see why this company is struggling. Would not recommend seeking employment with this company or this location.. horrible experience. By far the worst application process all to be mysteriously denied unemployment for reasons even corporate cant seem to explain.

Went in there for the first time and let me tell you that that place smelled like nothing I've ever smelled before. It was so nasty. How can a new store smell that bad??? A couple of the employees that was working there acted like they didn't wanna help me. Hell, I wasn't even acknowledged by the girl with pink hair when I came in. She straight up treated me like I didn't exist. Definitely won't be back there again

Employees are Very Very horribly rude. It is a very cluttered store and is hard to go down the isles because of the clutter. This store truly needs either new employees or needs to be closed down. They are very rude to the customers. That gives a bad name to the store.

It was nice to see The new Dollar General store! Its nic e to see a business open up in the south end with a remarkable contemporary look too the new store as well as the inventory. I hope everyone does their part in keeping the new building and grounds clean as they are now and pitch inn! Thanks for turning the old Lido Lanes Bowling Alley into something great again. That little patch of land holds a lot of south end memories 🙂 It attracted a great number of good people and great times! Wishing you great business here in our south Toledo Dollar General! I love shopping there store stay's clean staff has been friendly they are awesome they also have a lot of different things wide range I'm happy the store is in the neighborhood and I said it before but the staff is awesome that makes difference

The store is just a plain mess how can someone shop in a filthy store ! Garbage bags full sitting at the front entrance as you walk in .

Dollar General has a great many items that Family Dollar and the Dollar Tree don't have. The prices are very reasonable and the staff that work there are very helpful and very respectful

Unorganized , things not stocked up sitting on the middle of the aisle blocking aisles people can't get through the other isles home carts full of stuff that needs to be put on Shelves
