I swear this place used to be really great to go to. The staff was so friendly and kind. Now you drive over there and when their supposed to be opened, they are not. I swear they don’t even open any more. The whole place needs shut down. Such a waste of a drive. There’s another one on McCord, this one isn’t really relevant anymore. What a shame.Edit to add, I think I put this on the wrong dollar general lmao

Just tried to get propane from this location, was really excited because they had everything I needed and it was gonna be a 1 stop shop, they even rung up the gas in my total but then they said they didn't have a key, that another manager had the key and so they couldn't exchange our propane.. what a bunch of bologna, u would think u would make sure the employees had all the necessary tools to do their job.. I had to sit there and wait for a refund, wasted time and effort to be highly disappointed, I could have gone to Walmart or Meijer and got everything I needed. I shop here simply for CONVIENANCE... and this was anything but... not to mention lately they haven't been abiding by the location hours at this store. They close when they feel like it and put a sign up that they are short staffed.

Was charged cash for a SNAP/EBT item. I was told that the fresh produce isn’t available fir purchase with a EBT or SNAP card? After the girl rang up my items, I told her I wasn’t paying for the produce with cash, and she said they can’t do a refund on one item.?! Who the F$&@ is running the store? It should be closed

I have the in store and online Dollar general app, the problem with this store is that on the app it'll say this store has the product in stock , but the multiple times I've go there to buy the product its not there. They do not update their inventory on products. But they are willing to look for the product since it says they have it in stock even though they do not. They just need to update their inventory on what they do have in stock on products so they won't have a disappointed customer.

Went into this dollar general for the first time yesterday and it will be my last .the person running the register was rude and ahould not be working with the public .i was checking a item i purchased and he got mad and said i shouldnt be going through my bag until it was handed to me .he refused to give me my change because i didnt reply to his comment . I went out to my car to calm down went back and asked for my change he said he was with other customers .after he rang up a few ppl he gave me my my silver but threw the bills on the floor ..very sad will be calling coiperate unacceptable behavior

This store (McCord/Dorr) been closing at 3pm everyday because they are short staffed. Some days they aren't open at all. The store on (Dorr/Holland) Sylvania also been closing early. This is frustrating because I have to drive further just to get to a store. Please hire more employees

I pulled up 440pm today to be told WERE CLOSING 😆 really .not sure how this location can afford to be open when they're closed all the time.i stay close by the new thing now is their alarm system goes off about 6 times a day from closing early and if someone knocks on their door alarm goes off how classy dollar general 😆 your scaring the whole neighborhood 😆 cops come out sometimes

This place reminds me of a miniature Walmart or Meijers. Food items frozen or shelf, dairy products, bathroom essentials, Everything from that to toys, cosmetics, OTC medications, greeting cards, tools they have about everything! The store on McCord Rd has to have some of the most awesome employees I've ever seen! Honestly I do not know them personally but I've never been in that store when whomever was working wasn't smiling, always something nice to say and helpful in every way. I've never been in a store that I could honestly say I "enjoyed" it? Sounds weird but it's true.

Good prices and good selection on laundry and household cleaning products. Love shopping here and always find something for my garden. Also a great place to save money on greeting cards.

One of my favorite stores to go to! I love the staff! I coming here mainly for peppermint epsom salt and essential oils, but I always manage to shop for a few extra items. Hehe.

I went to get a mothers day card and to my surprise they had a huge selection to choose from. I also picked up a balloon. The staff made sure I was satisfied before I left the store

Great place to work and shop.Their products are of high quality. They also open quite early.. Usually situated in neighborhood that is distant to big stores like Walmart and Kroger

This dollar general has a alarm on everything everything you touch in the touch it sounds the alarm off not everyone is a theft rather go to Walmart get a better deal for my bucks

I usually can get what I need their,but I went to two dollar general stores to get lays honey barbeque chips neither store had them,very disapointed,what gets me is they had every kind but mine.,not happy

The employees were not very knowledgeable and did not help the customers at all. The place is a complete mess management does not keep the place nice and tidy and in order. Never buy any kind of food or produce from there unless it's cereals and things like that. Only thing I buy from there is personal hygiene products and maybe a few other things
