On October 20, I had to put down a piece of my heart. The staff were not only kind, but they shared in my grief. Dr. Burger was kind, caring and compassionate throughout the whole process- giving my son and I all the time we needed with Marley before and after. VCA is where I’ve taken my two dogs since they were puppies, and I cannot recommend them enough. Everyone there is absolutely amazing.

They have been the vet of choice for us for 9 years. They have been kind and loving to all of our pets and they work with you on price. They even have plans for routine things. When our oldest had to be put to sleep they let me take all the time I needed and let me just hold him as he fell asleep :( They did the spaying and neutering of 7 of our dogs and cats never an issue! Every pet came home happy and healing 💕

I love the staff here so much!!!! I tried the online scheduling for my baby and I didn't pay attention that it was for next week not today but the lady was really nice about it and saw that he was sick so she got us in as soon as she could. With that being said the doctor was very nice and was able to explain to me what he recommended to do bc Baby was sick 5 weeks ago so there was a reason why he was sick again. So long story short my little one has feline leukemia. The doctor was very supportive and understanding while I was trying to keep my tears in. He gave me a lot of info on it and just was very awesome about every thing. I seriously recommend going here bc they actually care about the animals and the owners of the animal.

I can’t praise the staff highly enough! They are so caring and kind, to me, and to my precious boy, Harry. I was hospitalized a few months ago, and left Harry there for boarding. Valerie took a picture of him and sent it to me!

my holy grail went to three emergency vets called 2 more and they all refused my cat who is not eating and rapidly loosing weight. i called and the front desk lady (i didnt get her name) was so nice and polite and she set us up with a same day appointment and help me set up an account

We have always & will always take our pups here even though we live an hour away! The staff is caring & understanding when it comes to our pups (even our little guy who is touchy). The doctors always keep us well-informed when any procedures take place. We feel very welcomed when we come to our appointments & leave with little to no questions unanswered. They help make things very convenient for us (i.e. appointment times, getting medication to us). We highly recommend VCA of Tiffin!

This place is awesome even know one of the worst days of my life was there on Oct 13th 2021 I had to take my best friend of 14 years there to be euthanized they were very compassionate they explained the process to me in detail before hand so I knew what to expect I was allowed to stay with my dog as long as I wanted and needed to they made the whole thing as easy as it could possibly be. And my dog Juggles was returned to me in a beautiful urn only 1 week later complete with paw prints and nose prints as well as a half heart for me and the other inside with him THANK YOU to all the staff.In 2018 I had a house fire and my dog Jake was stuck inside the whole time. About 3.5 hours when he was found he was alive but not in good shape. We brought him here they kept him comfortable and we had a time frame where we decided if he wasn't improving we would euthanize but he passed on his later that night. This vet not only only donated the cremation and urn they knocked more then half of a very expensive bill off and then they donated all the pet supplies I needed for my other pets. We took our puppy in one evening after she was hit by a car because our normal vet was closed. Everyone was extremely helpful, and caring. They took excellent care of our puppy, called us every day to give us updates and even checked in after we brought her home. She is almost back to her normal self, besides being blind, and we are so happy to have her with us. Thank you to all the staff for taking such great care of our puppy.

At first they were a breath of fresh air, the staff were so caring, our dog is 11 and has prostate infections, quits breathing while sleeping, he’s now so bad we know it’s time to have him put down, we called the vet 3 days ago and still haven’t heard back at all, while our sweet jack suffers in the meantime. They don’t seem to have any empathy for end of life, just want to do surgeries and tests and charge more and more money during the hardest decision you have to make.

I took my first dog there almost 14 years ago and it has been great experience since (except a lone mishap by an inexperienced staff perhaps). The doctors and the staff treat my dogs and me very well. It has become like taking my dogs to the place they know and people are kind and caring. Through the years, I lost one dog and adopted another. They all have been VCA patients. I do trust my dogs with them.

I recently had an emergency when my little dog Dixie was attacked by a bigger dog and my Vet was closed. I ran to VCA and they immediately took her in. They did emergency surgery to treat her. They were all so caring and professional. I was extremely pleased with their care of Dixie and I ended up changing her care over to them. They did an amazing job.

I absolutely love Dr. Burger, Dr. Andersons, and the rest of the staff at the VCA. I have three cats and a dog that I bring here and I completely trust everyone at this location. I’m constantly in there with one of my pets or my moms and I’ve never once had a bad experience. Although, do not expect to be in a hurry when you come here. They are usually always busy and sometimes get backed up. I have zero problems with this though as I now just know to clear a couple hours out of my day when I come and I’m good. They’re very compassionate as well here. We had to put a family cat down earlier this year and the entire process went as well as it could have been and they even gave us a sweet card that everyone signed when we picked up his remains. I will always highly recommend Dr. Burger, Dr. Andersons and the staff here and I will always be a client here! It’s quite literally a second home with as much as we are in haha.

Took our cats there they were nice and was happy to see our cats. Also took our dog Doug there for his shots and with his big muscular stature (American bulldog always mistaken for gator pitbull) they handled him very well. I highly recommend this vet clinic. They'll be our family vet for years to come.

When my cat was sick, Dr. Andersons and staff did everything that they could have done to help. When she passed, they were very empathetic and gave us the attention, time, and care that we needed as pet owners. They made the grieving process smoother for us and even let us bring in other pets to say goodbye and have closure. I have been going to them for a few years and will continue to do so.

Normally I do not bother writing reviews but I feel I must this time due to the experience we recently had with Dr Brad and his staff. We have had many pets but our most precious pet was a dear little Teddybear named Atti. She was recently hit by a car after a family tragedy and rushed to McClungs Animal Hospital where Dr Burger gently took her and helped her be comfortable until she passed. As usual the staff was wonderful and very compassionate. Knowing how much we were hurting with our loss Dr Brad helped us become acquainted with a breeder who had a sweet five year old that needed a home due to her inability to have puppies. What a perfect match, not only was she an incredibly sweet dog she also became a therapy dog that helped us in ways we could never have realized. We have gone to Dr Brad for the better part of 2 decades and could never think of going any other place because without a doubt the pet comes first in this office, from receptionists to the techs to the doctors. My family would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone needing a loving professional place to take their pet.

Doesn't show compassion. My cat was very sick, took her in on an emergency call. Turns out her kidneys were failing. Dr Brad said I could pay lots of money and hospitalize her or put her down with no empathy. I chose hospitalization.... $700 AND 2.5 days later, he sends her home with very little instruction... I was to give my cat sub-q fluids and no one showed me how!!!!!! He didn't want to set a followup appt any sooner than 2 weeks. I paid my bill and went to Laurie Hirt at the Paw Patch for a second opinion. She saved my cat... Dr. Brad was not doing enough. My cat lived another 5 month's, happy and at home, because of better attention and care from another vet. I do not recommend McClungs!!

I will NEVER take another animal there again and I will spread the word. If he doesn't feel like caring that day then he just poof doesn't bother doing his job. This is not the first problem I've had with Brad a Mc Clungs animal hospital along with the other male vet who works there. It was bring your bunny to work day yesterday.. REALLY? I only tried calling their office begging for them to take in my family rabbit MULTIPLE times saying she would NOT make it if you did not see her today and I kept getting "she will make it ect." and blew me off not even given advice! Well she passed away that night in a lot of pain and it sickens me. Not only did I call while the vet was open but the emergency line and yes Brad called back every time ..UNTIL I called saying she had passed and guess who didn't get a call back. If he doesn't want to do his job then he needs to get out of the way and let someone who actually cares do it. Allison was a big part of our family way more than just a pet and I can't even put into words what I think of this situation. With our first dog we took there he was very caring and helpful through the entire process after that he didn't want anything to do with helping out. DO NOT GIVE HIM BUSINESS!

Thank you for helping us put our precious Goldie to rest. They squeezed us into their busy schedule without any complaints. The staff was very kind and understanding. Our girl crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully and is free from pain. We are eternally grateful for that.

VCA claims to have 24hr emergency service but when my dog was having acute respiratory distress on a sunday the vet was away on business. I understand that a specific vet may not always be available but do not offer 24hr service if you can't provide it. My dog was going through a medical emergency and they did not have any vets able to treat her. Disappointing and poor advertising.

I usually never write these but, I take my show dogs here as well as others, and Brad has given me some of the best advice. Provides me with great advice for food to use as well as other helpful info. The other man there haven't been to fond of but he has done good every time. Would choose Brad every time tho!
