A real shame. Starving to death Jackson’s chameleon no humidity monitor just some incandescent light on top. I previously worked at a local pet store. I understand that things happen but there’s no reason that every single tank should have dead fish or fish with ick. I’ve been here twice both times I was not impressed. The store smelled of dead fish. The place is a mess. I did not see one reptile thriving in there. It would be an awesome store if just a little more thought and care was given.

Came in the other day and have been meaning to leave a review. The amount of professionalism the staff at Royal Union showed when they helped me with my coral setup was second to none. I'm new to this kind of hobby and Adam was welcoming and helpful, and you could tell he really cares about helping his customers. I highly recommend Royal Union to anyone who is still searching for the best pet store around, because this is it!

Great pet store. Good selection of saltwater fish, inverts, and corals. I picked up a very healthy copper band butterfly fish here, and it is already eating in my reef tank, which is pretty impressive for having it less than 24 hours because these fish are very difficult! The store has a good amount of freshwater fish, reptiles, and pet supplies. Royal Union is a one man operation, and Adam is doing a fantastic job. Shop small and support your local pet shop before hitting the big box stores!

What a great store! My wife, daughter, and myself went here with the intention of getting my daughter set up with her first fish tank. Adam was unbelievably friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with getting us what we needed to get the tank started! Now that it's established, he's been helping my kiddo get it stocked with with some really cool things! Can't recommend this place enough!

The owner is a really nice younger guy. He is willing to negotiate on price. If you are buying quantity and are not being unreasonable. He often will bundle items together so do not be afraid to make a special request like for him to screw two pieces of Driftwood together to accommodate a particular space you need or make a custom order. He has some very unique species of pet turtle that I don't see anywhere else for very good prices such as the soft shell turtle. Please do not buy one of these turtles if it's for your young child and they wish to handle it. These guys love to be like 30 years old and you should be respected and taken care of. But if you're serious about that, go see him. He has an amazing selection, high quality fish.

Just bought a Bristletooth Tang from here, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff is knowledgeable, the fish is healthy, there's a large selection of fish, and the supplies/tank selection is top-notch. Highly recommend this store for reptile enthusiasts!

The owner Adam is the best I’ve seen when it comes to doing what is best for his customers.This is the only store you should be going to for all freshwater and saltwater fish tanks! When our family decided to get a snake, I knew I wanted to support a local pet shop and we happened upon this one. The owner was not only knowledgeable, he was kind and really patient with our kids. He answered all of my questions, and made sure our three littles also had a good experience. When we were ready to make a purchase I came back and he made sure we got exactly what we wanted, and at a decent price. We are first time snake owners and I feel comfortable and confident. Very happy to find this locally-owned shop - the fish and plants are varied and healthy-looking, the staff is kind and helpful even to someone just dipping their toes in the whole aquarium hobby at the bottom rung, with 1 betta fish in a planted 3 gallon. Since my tank seemed to have finished cycling I was interested in adding a few miniature shrimp, which had been hard to find but they had some in stock. When I make the upgrade to a 5+ gallon, I’ll definitely include this store in my sources!

Adam, the owner, is very knowledgeable, super nice, and very well mannered! The store is amazing and very well maintained! I was recommended to come here and check the store out, and I was not disappointed in the least bit. The fish are all super healthy and very well taken care of, as are all the other reptiles as well. Went there the first time today to get feeders for my bearded dragon, they actually have dubia roaches! And they weren't like 30$ like petco or petsmart! I paid 12$ for 24. The gentleman working today was super nice and helpful! Definitely found my new pet store and it's closer to the house! 😊

Used to go here all the time, Adam seems like he knows what he’s talking about but when you actually do your research you’ll realize his fish tanks have ick, his reptiles are kept in small enclosures with dry water bowls half of the time, had to stop going because he had a chameleon dying right under the air vent with no lamp and one single plant and did nothing about it, he had a huge tortoise in a tank with just water and nothing for it to prop itself up on, multiple reptiles kept in the same small enclosure, large snakes in enclosures meant for a literal leopard gecko, spiders and scorpions are always kept in tiny plastic containers, I could go on. He seems knowledgeable to someone who’s new at this but he feeds his bugs French fried from McDonald’s. Don’t buy from him ♡

One of the most genuine people you will meet. Adam will bend over backwards to accommodate any of your needs. Has gone above and beyond anything I have ever asked, and even if he didn’t know something, he would find out to help you better in the future. Reaches out frequently to see how things are going and makes his store feel so welcoming, along with his adorable sidekick Toast the cat, I love going back just to see the kitty and the new things Adam gets in. Special requests, custom orders, reserves, and holds anything you need for you if your like me and can only get out on the weekends. Makes this hobby a lot more achievable and affordable.

A smaller shop catered to more serious hobbyists (aquatics/reptiles/amphibians). Nice selection of common and rare livestock. And whatever you can't find Adam will hunt it down for you and give you a good deal. They also take the time to ensure each animal has the right setup and good home.Adam also sources from many local breeders, myself included. So supporting Royal Union supports other local business as well.A very solid, reliable place for all of your aquatic and herp needs. Most shops don't go the extra mile like this one.

Today was my first visit to this new aquarium/reptile store and I could not have been more impressed. For a startup venture open only four months, there is just the right amount of inventory, especially for a small footprint store. The owner, Adam, is readily available and very knowledgeable. They have ample supplies of marine and fresh water fish and unique foods and supplies from other local vendors. I will definitely be back!
