Took my girl here for the first time today, and I’ll never take her anywhere else. The first thing the vet did when he walked in was get down to her level and try to make her comfortable. He talked to her, and was petting her during everything he did. Her let her sniff everything before doing anything. He spoke to me like one animal lover to another. It was the best experience with a vet’s office I’ve ever had!

My family has gone here for years for a reason. Friendly staff, family owned business, pricing is great. They truly take pride and care for the animals. They are very gentle and caring and do a great job at explaining everything. I tried other vets and will never go anywhere else!

Beyond pleased with our first visit. Staff is very kind and considerate. Dr. Mandic and Terra really took the time to get to know my little pup and make sure he was comfortable as he’s a naturally shy boy. His physical and mental health as well were their top priority. Highly recommend this facility.

Love this Vet Clinic. The owners and veterinarians Lee and Ann are experienced and caring people. I have had three dogs over the last 20+ years and now a new puppy that I couldn't think of taking anywhere else than the Sunbury Veterinary Clinic.

Dr novak does exotic birds. He has handled our female sun conure for about 3 or 4 years now.my husband and I highly recommend him. We love how he treats Marley and us. Great vet for your pet or fur babies.

I can't say enough good things about this place! Our dog had an emergency and our regular vet was closed. They agreed to look at him even though we weren't patients. They diagnosed him, and assured us he would be ok. We had to take him to COVE for treatment. Sunbury Vet Clinic called us a couple times to check on him. The vets and staff are very caring and helpful. We are now patients of theirs. Glad we found them!

My first experience with this vet office. I will start off by saying the vet techs were all nice. However the vet we saw which was a very tall man (didn’t catch his name) was not. We took our little dog in because we suspected she had a UTI. Neither my husband or I or the vet techs could get a urine sample so the Dr abruptly asked if we wanted to leave her there for a few hours to see if they could get the sample. We agreed. He also stated to us as he was standing in the doorway that he could do an exam, however, until they had a urine sample there was really no point at that time. No exam was done while we were there. We picked up our dog later that day because they got the sample. They presented me with a large bill that included an exam that wasn’t done. I told the vet tech this and she said can you wait and I will ask the Dr. The same doctor came out and told me he DID do an exam in the back office as they do with all the dogs that come in. He acted offended that I was even questioning this. Shouldn’t I be able to witness the exam? They put my dog in a cage and waited for her to urinate. They were extremely busy. This Dr was abrupt and rude. I should have asked very specific questions about the exam that was given in the back. We still don’t know as of this review if my dog has a UTI because they were still running the test and didn’t have results (they said they would call us the next day) even though we went ahead and paid for the test when we picked up our dog. We were also charged for a whole day stay hospitalization even though she was only there about 4.5 hours. After we find out about the results and if she needs meds, we won’t be back after that.

I never even made an appointment with this vet because I called with a question and when they called me back, the vet spoke to me and he was rude, talked down to me, and treated me like I was stupid. I changed my mind right then and there about going there. The receptionist was very nice though.

The staff and Dr. Nowac were phenomenal. We had an emergency with our pup and our vet was out of town. They squeezed us in to take a look at him and determined he need surgery. They were packed with their own clientele. I am so grateful for this practice. Without them we would have lost our puppy. They staff is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Dr. Nowac communicated with us every step of the way. Thank you for taking such good care of our sweet boy. We will be forever grateful to your practice.

They're so great, my whole family travels quite a distance to bring our pets to them. They care for my dog, cats, hens, my daughter's dog and rabbit and my other daughter's cat.They don't up-sell us & they treat our pets with compassionate care, no matter the type of pet. We'd never go anywhere else.

Just wanted to give feedback on a great experience. They were able to work my dog in for an ear infection same day even though she was not a current patient. My own vet could not get her in for 4 days. They were kind and very efficient. Since our visit we have transferred our care to Sunbury Vet. They have taken time out of their day to send us a welcome card and was asking if Olive was doing well. It is nice to have found a vet that is close to home and does a great job. Thank you!

I have been going here for 12 years, and I have never had a bad experience. The entire staff is very friendly and knows my dogs by name. I thought pricing was very reasonable, and at any time I couldn't pay, they told me to pay when I can. I never felt any pressure about payment. And the doctors are always very sweet and loving towards my animals. I wouldn't hesitate to refer someone here!

With each visit, Sunbury Veterinary Clinic and their staff demonstrates professionalism, communication, compassion, and knowledge. I have been a client for multiple years, and have full confidence in them each time I take one of my large dogs for an appointment. The experience from their staff, Dr. Nowac, and Dr. Mandic is something that is not easily found at other local clinics.

We brought in our family cat to be put down here. We were not impressed AT ALL with how they handled this delicate situation. First, the vet tech had the nerve to ask my distraught mom for her credit card for payment (an outrageous $190) in the middle of the procedure. Ever head of billing people? Second, they claim to be a center understanding that animal emergencies can happen at any time, but we witnessed the doctor jump into his pickup truck and beat us out of the parking lot as soon as he received our money. Will NEVER bring any of our other pets back here.

I have went to this Vet Practice ever since we moved to Sunbury..... 16 years! We are beyond pleased and feel very comfortable when our dogs are in their care. Great caring owners. If you live in the area, this is the place to go if you have dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles and so much more.

My family and I have been taking our pets to Dr. Nowac since I was probably nine. Dr. Nowac is very knowledgeable. I like that he takes the time to look over your animal. I never feel like he is rushing, which is amazing. He answers your questions so you are never in the dark. He recently saved my guinea pig and my mom’s cat. I appreciate everything he does. I drive 45 minutes to see him because he knows what he is talking about. Erin and Tara are awesome too!

Had to wait well past my appointment time and was sent away when the dog barked. The vet made 0 attempts to defuse the situation. Just stood in the doorway at probably 6'3 basically yelling at us. It's no wonder the dog was scared. You're probably in the wrong line of work.

We like the folks at this vet office as they are very responsive and caring. We've been most impressed with how they handle pets who need to be down. Through the years we've had a number of pets who had to be put down and Dr Nowak has never charged us to do that. Also, when this has been done, Dr Nowak has lead us out the back door so that we don't have to see others in the waiting room and then has brought our pet out to us wrapped in a blanket while we wait in our car. They've also followed up with condolence cards with everyone in the office signing the card.

I got two twin bichpoos and took them here for shots, couldn’t go in but had a hefty bill. Woke up about a week later and one was acting super depressed and sad so we of course rushed him in. They took him back, said they thought he had a blockage in his intestine and insisted on keeping him for 2 nights I wanted him better so I agreed. When we came to pick him up they billed us for ear drops special food and nausea meds when none of that was discussed with us. And he was still acting the SAME. $800 later they told us to bring him back in so we did and they looked at him and saw he wasn’t acting right but did not much of anything. So almost $1000 later my poor baby puppy is still not right and we now have to pay medvet to figure it out. Take my heartbroken word for it. Take your animals anywhere but here.

I have a rabbit, so I'm used to Cbus vets being super expensive for exotic species, and half the time an exotic vet isn't on staff when I need one. Sunbury Vet Clinic has been amazing with my rabbit and my dog. They are attentive and straightforward, and unlike most vets here in Cbus, they don't try to upsell you on things/treatments you don't need. My mom has also taken her chickens there. They are loving and patient with all species, have been very easy to get in touch with. Even though it's a bit of a drive, I won't be going anywhere else!

Dr.Nowalk has been taking care of my childhood pets for as long as i can remember . now that im an adult and his partner and him are caring for my dog i couldnt be more happy and pleased with his health and happiness . i highly reccomend seeing them for any of your pets concern. His staff is also just as amazing you can tell they really care about all of there patients and their families!

I've used Sunbury Veterinary Clinic for a number of years. Pricing is very reasonable and the staff is always pleasant. Dr. Nowak is always enjoyable to talk to, but the solemn, compassionate care he showed when we put down one of our dogs a few years ago will never be forgotten. I hope he never retires because I never want to go anywhere else!
