The staff is very friendly. I love going to the store and seeing the shelves filled up and I love that the staff checks on you and it is always helpful. They are constantly working they do not sit around and play on their phone they are actually always doing something. John and Leo are very friendly people. They are my favorite staff members at the store and they are the most kind and helpful ones that I have met at that place. They deserve raises because they are constantly busting their but every time I see them

Smaller than the one in Boardman not by much. The employees are very nice helpful and inviting. The entrance is a very interesting collection of machinery photos from the many machinist times of the area. The parking is great with other retailers next door or within walking distance. Stores include Dollar General, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, a meat shop, and a very nice Ace Hardware among a few others. Great area and low traffic making it very easy to navigate.

Love the meat and deals I get here. They are always stocked and friendly. This is a distance from my home so i don't get here much anymore, but it's worth the trip when I do go. This time the assistant manager was a hoot while he was pushing the .25 boxes of valentines candy that he sold quite a bit of during my time at checkout 😆

This store is ok. I find that it has a decent amount of variety as far as food products are concerned however I have noticed that when I'm shopping I'm unable to find certain products. Whenever this happens and I try to find someone to help me I can't find anybody. Also sometimes the checkout lines are really long as some of the older ladies at the register take a little too long. Whenever I go shopping there I make sure to always go to the checkout line with the younger cashiers because at least I'm guaranteed to get checked out much quicker.

Store is good enough but my last experience with a cashier was horrible.Updated:Went here with a client and we were told we couldn't bring our bag in with us. It wasn't what was told to us, it was how it was said. People need to learn how to read people.

They claim that they are cheaper but you can Go to a dollar store and get non perishable food cheaper. The meat goes bad really quick and the milk always expires before the expiration date...the fruit and vegetable section usually doesn't have anything good to pick from with moldy berries or gross onions. The staff are super friendly and quick. Just the quality of their food is bad. They used to have a good frozen section called matia's but they replaced it with a cheaper quality that isn't desirable at all.

I love this Save a Lot. Their 6 for $19.99 is the neat deal in town. Most are 5 for $19.99, here you get one more for free. It's also really clean and the check out is fast. If there is a line, they open another register right away.

They had what I needed. The employees were friendly. I had so much fun buying beans and toilet paper. I'd say say that everyone should be using this store and doing sit ups. I love French dressing.

Great. This grocery store is in the middle of our neighborhood. They have great prices and great stock of product. The staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable of the layout of the store. The parking is always available and they keep the parking lot clear in the winter

This is what the American consumer has been reduced to: believing that they're saving money by shopping at these discount stores... I intentionally observed the prices on items that I regularly buy at Marc's and this place doesn't even compare. Mac-n-cheese, cake mix, laundry detergent, even eggs,...all are cheaper at Marc's. Pricing the Danish .49 cents less than IGA is no favor to society (IGA is like being robbed too) but this place says it in it's title..."Save-a-Lot"... You ain't savin' squat! You're buying discount brands at name brand prices... Save-a-lot you will NOT! You're better off going to Giant Eagle and just paying for the good stuff...

This is an inexpensive grocery store where you can just pop in to grab either just a few things you need or a buggy full of grocries. The reason i gave it 4 stars is because they don't carry enough brand name items. It is always clean and staff is professional and friendly.

Overall it was okay shopping there except for I got sour cream something is wrong with it you can't containers full of air and was blowing the plastic seal off and I don't know what to do about it I have no one to bring me back to the store until next month the date is good on it but it should not be ready to explode but everyone is very courteous in the store seem to be pretty clean prices are excellent but I would appreciate if someone can help me how to replace my shower cream I would not worry about it but I want a very very low income and I barely get enough to even eat as a matter of fact I have to eat just rice or oatmeal most of the time I would love to return to your store if you have any ideas on how to help me out to resolve this problem I would appreciate it thank you so much my name is Donna Blanchard

I love Save a lot. Great prices, service is great. This save a lot in Struthers has several flavors of Pippity Pop specialty popcorn ....eg. Cheery chocolate and spring mix which are fruit flavors. Very good stuff. The parking lot is right in front of the store, the store is large but not ridiculously huge like Walmart and Giant Eagle...I can get in, get what I want, and get out without walking a mile to and from my car and in the store. Its very convenient and carries everything I NEED. When I want specialty items, I can go elsewhere if I want.

Known this place since the early 70s when it was called Sparkle Market. Good sized supermarket for a bedroom community and the folks who work there are super friendly and helpful. Much better than the "we carry everything" superstores.

I like shopping here. It is clean. The aisles are nice and wide. The people are friendly and pleasant. The prices are very very good. It's not a big store, but they have just about everything I need.

Like this store usually not very crowded and owned by nemenz which is a plus. Most people workout there are very friendly. Went yesterday around 5 or so and wad checked out by someone i believe named was judy. She has the personality of a rabid pitbull. She wasnt mean or anything she just looked miserable and never said a word. When i was leaving i said "have a good day" and she just turned away. Lighter up miserable life isn't that bad

This is a very clean location where the products seem to be arranged in neat order and set up in a way that i can get through the store quickly without having to backtrack. The prices are very competitive as well with terrific sales throughout the week and month.

I always shop the Save A Lot in Struthers and Campbell, however I prefer the Struthers location because you can get the 6 for $19.99 meat packs and only 5 for $19.99 in Campbell. There prices sometimes differs as well for the same items costing more in Campbell than Struthers, over all their customer service tends to be a little more friendly as well. I however have really have no issues shopping either store.

I dont know what's up with Save-A-Lot stores on the south side of Youngstown and east side there's nothing good about them and I wish someone would shut them the hell down. I mean I really don't know where to start. How the hell can you sell bad vegetables? And don't buy no onions or lettuce because you will bring a bag of gnats home with you. The prices is out of this world it's supposed to be Save-A-Lot not Spend-A-Lot. The one on the east side is the worst flies and gnats everywhere, spoiled food spoiled vegetables rotten chicken that stinks very bad. Price of stay going up and they can never keep anything always switching up stuff this terrible even the security guard that they have are creepy. I honestly don't know why the health department is letting them pass their specials every time because I mean is trifling there I guess it's because it's on the Eastside of Youngstown and it really doesn't matter.My sister told about this one in Struthers and I tried it out. It was looking promising at first until I grabbed a bag of potatoes with old juice dripping out the damn bag onto my hand and arms the smell of spoiledness made me sick thought I was going to find a maggot somewhere on me and they really don't have too much here so I suggest choosing where you shop wisely. Niles, Cortland and Howland Save-a-lots are hands down way better!

It doesn't make sense to shop save a lot anymore. Cheaper prices everywhere else. Shop around people.
