Literally the saddest environment I have ever seen. The store is now half the size it is in these pictures, these dogs are held in tanks/enclosures that you put a hamster in. They have bedding in there with the dogs LIKE THEY ARE HAMSTERS. The dogs are literally drinking out of water bottles. They also had 2 Guinea pigs and a full grown rabbit living together in a very tiny enclosure. Also a child picked up a dog out of one of the open cages and an employee yelled at them across the store to put him down. Not quite sure how anything like this is legal.

This place is disgusting. They are nationally recognized for how bad of conditions they keep their poor animals in. They receive their puppies and kittens from puppy mills that treat their animals even worse and have extensive health issues. If the store doesn’t like your review they try to say it’s the other pet store in the mall, when in fact it’s them that are just as bad. Don’t shop here, please go to your local rescue or humane society where many great pets need loving homes. Adopt, don’t shop!

This is a puppy mill. These puppies are being drugged up to lay around to be quiet. The lady is actively telling you they have a cough. Kennel cough. Stay away. Please report this animal abuse. Puppies that many breeds together all napping all day. Help these babies

I’ve purchased my last two pups from Petland. This last time we went, we worked with Sincere. They happened to be understaffed that day and she was absolutely killing it; bringing puppies to rooms, checking on families with pups out, giving pricing, getting paperwork. There was an incident that happened in the store with a woman whose child was mistreating a puppy and Sincere handled the situation promptly and professionally. She thanked us for being patient while she handled everything and even after all the commotion, she was very courteous to my wife and I. I loved the service and attention we received that day and I would highly recommend working with her.

Saddest environment ever. These dogs never leave their cages for daily walks. Especially the fully grown ones they have in tiny fish tanks. Been long running rumor dogs are given melatonin/ CBD (etc) so they just are always asleep. Shelter dogs get more activity than these dogs in this store. The store claims to be animal lovers advocate, but any true animal lover knows this place and business is all wrong. Merely profit. They do the bare minimum. Something behind the scenes is very off.

This place is absolutely disgusting and heartbreaking. I left in tears from seeing how these poor animals are treated. They are all kept in fish tank size “cages” with water bottles that are used for literal hamsters. The floors of the cages are awful and the dogs paws go right through the huge holes in them. The poor animals all look sedated and scared. Not one barks or moves and they have no room to even move around in the cages and are never even taken out. Not to mention, the dogs are all disgustingly overpriced and probably all have health problems from being kept in these fish tank size cages for years. This place needs to be shut down. I have no idea how it’s not already. THESE ANIMALS DESERVE BETTER. Shame on you.

Was here yesterday. They animals all looked very sick. I've never been to a pet store where all the puppies looked out of it . I'm talking 20 plus puppies and not one of them had ANY energy and they were all filthy. This place should probably be investigated in my opinion.

If zero stars was possible, that’s what this “store” would get! Anyone willing to promote or endorse this place or even work for them for that matter, is far from the “animal lover” they state they are. I got a puppy years ago from this place (because she was barely conscious and someone needed to save her) and immediately had to take her to the emergency room because of the conditions these poor animals are put in. Fishtanks and metal cages from top to bottom is not safe nor humane for animals to be put in for hours/days upon end. Filth and dirty water/food is inhumane! The place states they get these puppies from top breeders but I haven’t seen a SINGLE healthy animal in this place.PLEASE STOP BUYUNG FROM THESE TERRIBLE AND AWFUL PEOPLE AND RUN THEM OUT OF BUSINESS.(Also to the owners, you are terrible humans and I hope one day you experience even HALF the pain and torture you put these precious animals through and you should be ASHAMED of yourselves for doing this for years upon years)

I’m absolutely disgusted with the breeders. I recently bought an 11 week ago Dachshundfrom here and his vaccine list is outrageous. The poor little dog has had 7 vaccines 3 different ones all for the same prevention. The poor dog is barely even a pound. Do not buy from this place. Also the amount of money that these dogs cost is ridiculous. My dog was recently taken to an emergency vet due to pain in his right leg. We were told it was growing pains but doing some research we found that he was vaccine injured from the 7 vaccines he got as a puppy. When we told the emergency vet place how many vaccines he had their eyes widened. We’re currently in touch with a detox vet that helps detox the vaccines out of the puppies bodies. This place is literally animal abuse. Keeping these small puppies in tiny cages with hamster water feeders, the price for the dog, the sedatives they give the puppies to wind down, and the vaccine list is all saddening. I hope this place gets shut down. Do not put your money towards this place.

This place should be raided by the authorities. Dogs and cats are kept in incredibly crowded and small enclosures. My niece called me and asked if 7000 dollars was a lot for a dog. I told her to leave immediately because this was a complete rip off.

My friend got a dog from here, 6 months old they never let him out of the cage, he didn't even know how to walk. When he did walk, all he did and does till this day is walk in circles their working on it though.. This place should be shut down!! Terrible people you are. Disgusting human beings.And this is definitely the correct pet store so I don't want to hear the I'm posting on the wrong one.

I had the best experience with Sarah. I came in for a quick purchase and she was more than happy to help me. I just bought a puppy recently and she wasn't eating her dog food. She turned me on to a new brand of dog food and now my dog is happy and eating, thank God! Sarah told me she has alot of animals and is very experienced with food options and training. She recommended a good trainer too. I felt comfortable and she was very funny and personable, thanks Sarah! :)

This place was lovely, do not confuse this for the other store called Pick of The Litter, they're awful, I know, petland is awesome and care for their animals, you can also play with them, they had a lovely and chaotic pomsky, 10/10. If you're looking to review Pick Of The Litter, you can do so on yelp. The two places aren't the same.

This place may be small but the employees are rather great to talk too and chat with about the pets they sell. They may not have everything you need but till a good place to go. I spoke with one girl, Faith was her name. She was very sweet and easy to talk too. When I have the chance to adopt a pet I hope to see her there when I do!

It was a pleasure to visit your store looking for a fur baby for our daughter . The store smelled clean and Sarah was absolutely a treat to work with. We discussed the different types of breeds. I have to say, I have never had such a great time in a pet store before! Sarah Cardenas was absolutely wonderful with my daughter and the pups. She was so kind, attentive, and all around good with a child, which was very helpful and I am so thankful for her. She answered all her questions, and gave her ample time to get aquainted. Great experience! I will definitely take all my business there and deal with Sarah explicitly.

This was my favorite place to come as a kid just to play with the puppies, lol. I came in to look at puppies; I’m currently looking to get another and Sarah was so much help. From when I walked in until I left. She is so friendly, so helpful! She kept a smile on her face. Will be back once we make our final decision

Customer service in this petland is amazing. Sarah was so professional and informative. Me and my sister were interested in a puppy and Sarah was glad to let us hold the puppy and tell us information regarding every dog that we were interested in. Wow, what an amazing experience at Petland in Strongsville! 😄 I recently had the pleasure of visiting and spending time with their adorable bulldog, Luna 🐶, it was heartbreaking having to leave her but I am unable to take in anymore pets right now. I really hope she finds a forever home with a warm and loving family. My time with her was an absolute blast! Sarah, who I had the pleasure of meeting, is a true gem 💎 and made my visit extra special. She's incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and I feel like she genuinely cares about every customer. Tbch, I try to make it a point to visit when I know Sarah's working because she truly makes the store shine ✨. Update -My family was actually in your store , It was small and we didn't really like how the dogs are kept either in the cage or the small "visit block" people can visit an animal in. We dont see how any of the pets could get any exercise sitting in cages. And they all seemed hungry and couldn't wait to get out of the cage.So yeah we was at your store upstairs in the corner of the mall.and you didn't like my reply with no explanation. So ok I'll leave an honest explanation.. you got it.

I purchased a poodle from here and was assisted be a wonderful girl,Faith. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, she was thorough in explaining what all was included in the adoption costs. I recommend this place to anyone looking for puppies from AKC certified breeders!

Such a great place! I was greeted with a smile from an employee named Sarah Cardenes who was attentive and knowledgeable. She saw I was having trouble picking out a toy for my big chewer of a dog who likes shoes more than toys. She recommended the “Playology” brand and I must say it has help tremendously! She made my experience enjoyable and was a gem to talk to!
