I only shop here because of the convenience of it being on my way home. I understand that most folks have cats and dogs. I have a rabbit. I am lucky to find the right food in stock or even the bedding material. I see spots for items but they are usually empty when I go there. I have never had that problem when I go to their competition which is the opposite direction from home. They are always in stock there. This store had more selection for small animals before they put in the grooming area.

I went in to purchase some fish for our home aquarium and what I saw made me sick! A tank filled so full with goldfish that they could barely move! They were struggling to get to the top to breathe air bubbles in between the dead fish floating there, the filter was also covered with dead fish. They were being sold for $0.20 each! This was a very disturbing and cruel sight to see, there were multiple tanks that were empty and there were also six tanks that had signs that said “sorry we’re sick right now “ I would never buy anything from this store!

I was excited to stop into the streetsboro store on 4/6 to get a couple more barb fish for my tank at home. When I told the male rep with glasses what I wanted he immediately asked how big my tank was and denied my request because I should have a minimum 20gal tank for 5 small barb fish. I did not understand this because they housed gold fish cramped the same as a prior complaint.I then asked what fish would pair best with a beta as I had a few in mind. He suggested that no fish pairs well with a beta then quickly asked if he could help me with anything else and rushed away.I have been to two different stores since, one being the same chain which I will also be giving a poor review for multiple dead and sick fish.

I called my local Streetsboro store today and Henry answered. This guy shared both his professional and personal experience with me! I had noticed the mystery snail Id purchased from there about 1 year ago was floating in the water, not reacting to the food I was dropping in, not coming out of shell as often, and his shell color changed from dark brown when I bought him to light tan? I was concerned that he was dying. Henry suggested that he might be depressed and asked me some questions. So here I had removed the plant and gems thinking the snail needed to stick to the floor like he does on the sides of the bowl. Henry said no they like pebbles, a few rocks, and a plant. He also told me that well water was fine for the bowl, that spring/bottled water had chemicals in it which were not good for the betta or the snail. He is also the one that recommended the betta heater. When customers call, they really appreciate staff that knows what their selling over ones that are just running a register. Henry is a keeper, IF he's not already a manager, he should be! I retired from sales management after 30 years, and his customer service skills are top notch!

I was in this store today and bought myself a bearden dragon, one girl helped me and it was nice to talk to her, she told me everything in detail what I need and how to do, the girl was nice, and the cashier was also very nice. I will go to this store every week to buy food for my bearden dragon, thank you very much!

Went to buy a goldfish for the grandkids and was told they wouldn't sale me one cause my tank needed to be at least 20 gallons for a goldfish. Lol your tank has dozens of them packed in .

Bought 3 Cory cats today and one has fin rot. Brought it back within an hour and had to buy treatment for the tank. Did not even offer a discount for the problem they caused! Won't be buying anything here ever again!

This location is always clean and organized. The staff is welcoming, cheerful, and so helpful with any questions I may have. Each employee seems to enjoy their job and you can feel that when you enter the store.

Great prices on Cat Advantage Ii, K9 Advantix 4 packs Buy one at regular price get the 2nd half off sale until April 24?, 2019 .. Check Store flyer for other brands and more details. Also came across some disposable booties they look just like balloons (see photos) crazy unique. Lastly I picked up my pups fav, but stinky yak cheese bones on BOGO 50% Off a steal when the 55lb chews are $11 and change. Anything to keep them happy and time for myself for a bit while they safely chew.

Employees were nice. We found everything we needed for Hermit crabs. It's nice to walk into a store and see employees cleaning. They care about the pets. Can't give it 5 stars because the prices are higher than online.

I bought a baby leopard gecko from here. I wasn't too sure about getting one from a pet store, but I did my research and new the care requirements. She is healthy and thriving in her enclosure. They take good care of their reptiles. My only complaint is that repticarpet isn't safe because they can snag their nails on it.

So very disappointed. So many dead fish in the tanks. We bought 4 fancy male guppies from there and all of them have/had fin rot. 3 have since passed away. We are treating the tank in hopes of helping are other 4 fish alive. We will not be returning to this store.

Just stood in here for 40 minutes, no assistance. Told an employee I'd need help with some fish in a few minutes, she disappeared and I couldn't find her anywhere. Attempted to wave down the manager, he walked right past without making eye contact. Was about to drop $100+ on aquarium supplies and fish, but put the $50+ in fish food I was holding back on the shelf and will go elsewhere. I've had good service here in the past but today I felt like a burden.

Pet supplies plus has literally doubled their prices. Especially on flea and tick medicine, if you do some quick price comparison you will see pet supplies costs double what their competitors cost or Walmart that’s right down the road. They should be boycotted for ripping people off and price gouging, it’s absolutely disgusting. Chewy dot com costs half the price on everything in pet supplies.

Sold me a python with mites 2 weeks ago. Was told I'd get a call when I could pick him up because I still wanted him and they never did. If you want any reptile I'd go to Petco or PetSmart. They actually know their animals and take top notch care of them. This place blamed their pythons having mites on their hermit crabs and were not very knowledgeable on anything they sell reptile wise. My fiancee and I will never make another purchase in this establishment ever

Only three stars because this place is run like a kindergarten. I'm sorry to say, but there's only so much you can know when the average age of your employee is about 16. Some of the kids are very knowledgeable but the majority give the standard pet supplies plus answer of "I don't know". If you know what you're looking for, they more or less have everything and their prices are very reasonable. You could do worse

Drew is amazing! I normally go to the Stow location, but I submitted a delivery order from the Streetsboro store. One of the items wasn’t available and Drew was kind enough to call me and let me know and present other options. He’s just very personable, upbeat, and kind. Definitely an asset to the company. I certainly hope that Pet Supplies Plus is giving him the recognition ($ and promotion opportunities) that he deserves!

This store used to be pretty good, it has since rapidly gone down hill. I walked in to buy some feeder fish and maybe a few tetras, there was no staff around to help me for about 5 minutes. Then, I asked for my feeder fish and the employee walked away without telling me for another 5 minutes, AFTER I asked for my fish, I figured maybe he went to get something but he came back empty handed so I guess he’s just inattentive. Then I started looking around for some tetras, every tank was full of algae, about half had dead fish everywhere and half the fish had ick. I was looking at some white skirt tetras, I knew the price is about $2-3 but the price tag was nowhere to be found. I just wish there was a pet store in this area where I could walk in and have some quality service every time.
