rude customer service, i could hear the ladies at register talking about how they didn’t accept all but a few of my items. i saw another review where someone had a white friend bring their items and they were accepted and i truly believe if i did that the same thing would happen. do better and don’t be biased…

I wish they paid more per item.40 items for $34.That being said I'm happy they provide good deals for shoppers.Everyone is nice and the store is full of great products.

***rude staffI have been coming to this store for awhile now and I usually have okay service. I have found some good clothes ans toys here as well. The drop off system is really annoying though. They change the rules for it all the time. They say they are at their "capacity" for taking items when their back doesn't look that full, and the store front doesn't have a whole lot on the shelves like other stores do. Then when I came in, I was disappointed they weren't taking dropouts. I just said "darn, on a day I actually remember to bring my drop-off items." I wasn't mean about it. Then I walked away to continue shopping and they laughed at me!! I was so close to losing it but I was nice anyways at checkout. I understand retail is tough when dealing with people. I've been in retail as well. But I seriously wasn't trying to be rude. I just said a simple comment and I was just joking. The whole time I was shopping, they were all joking around barely doing any work. They just got on my nerves today.

First point I wish to make is that a few of the current staff members are completely rude. There are ways to communicate the new dropoff limits/rules without being condescending. The customers are adults and to be talked down to is extremely disrespectful. No lack of staff is an excuse for rudeness.Secondly, dropoffs are now only being accepted between the hours of 10-4 Monday through Friday. This eliminates the majority of full-time working individuals.I advise anyone interested in taking items to call first to avoid their rudeness and to save time/money.

I came here to shop, alot of clothes but hardly any for the right season. Staff was in the aisle I wanted to get down but wouldnt move . I wont be back!

The women working here were so friendly and helpful. The attitudes of some customers there, though, leave much to be desired. The hours that they purchase items and the guidelines for selling items are clearly communicated on social media and in the store, so I’m not sure why customers want to argue with them over polices that employees have no control over. I witnessed one lady be outright nasty to the employee because she was there after their buying hours were done for the day. If you went to Target, would you expect them to keep the store open for you because you couldn’t plan your day to get there before they closed? Be better, people, and treat people the way you want them to treat you!

Update years later: it’s definitely gotten better! Staff is much friendlier and much less gossip!I’m a repeat customer and have been for years. Unfortunately, all the reviews are spot on that mention loud, gossipy staff who never glance your direction or greet upon entering the store... AND it’s usually the same even when you’re in line to check out. You have to break up a conversation just to call someone over. That should all be addressed. You think it would’ve been after so many reviews below. Overall, they have good deals, so that’s what I go for, but other locations are more desirable because of these issues.

Staff are rude and don’t communicate info. You advertise you take items 10-4pm but I have driven 20 minutes one way to your location two weeks in a row now and arrived well before 4pm and was told you wouldn’t take my items for review. I called today and was told to come on in. So I again made the drive and was once again told no that you are done taking items once I arrived This is extremely frustrating that you advertise times on your entrance doors and Facebook page and staff say one thing on the phone and then change things. Staff were rude again today when I tried to explain the situation.

I have been a customer for a couple of years now and will never come back. The staff is unwelcoming and I've bought many items to later find that all the pieces weren't there. (You're better off buying new items). What a waste of money. The "last straw" was when I brought items in and asked when they would be finished. I was told I would receive a text. Which was fine. Maybe three or four hours later I called to ask when they process items until (so I have a frame of reference). The girl on the phone said in a nasty tone that they told me they would call me, she said this repeatedly. That was not my question!! It seemed like she was rude and talking down to me. If I were the owner of this store she would be let go. I study HR and business admin. They need to retrain or restaff. The way I was treated was unacceptable. I came back and got my items back. That is no way for a small business, nor any business to operate.

If you request the clothes coming in to be sold to be freshly laundered and folded in a tote/box (not bags) and we do that, please have the common courtesy to fold them back nicely into the tote where you got them from. 90 % of my babies clothes had maybe been worn one time if not once at all, and you denied 99% of my clothing. Its one thing to not want my brand new clothes 🤷‍♀️ its another to not be respectful and fold them back up how they were. Id rather donate to someone who can use them and not pay an arm and a leg then waste my time again. Thanks.

I love this place. Things that will never get worn can be traded in and used as credit towards things these picky kids like - other clothes, toys, whatever. They're always very polite and we always find at least a few things we like. We've never experienced or seen anything like what I've read in negative reviews. Maybe people have unrealistic expectations. You're not trading to get cash to buy similar items brand new. You're trading in things that would normally be worth nothing in your life for discounts on items that are worth the very fair prices they offer. They wouldn't be in business if they paid even half of what items were worth brand new. If you want to try and sell your items online and go through the hassle of documenting and listing every item, dealing with people who seem to contact sellers out of boredom with no desire to buy (most responses will be these) and deal with strangers, then maybe you can get more for them. For those of us who don't have time for that, this is a great place that saves time and some money. As for the gossiping, all I've ever heard is polite conversation and employees judging clothing which is their job. If your feelings are hurt easily by people judging your taste in fashion or the condition of your used items, try not to listen. The last time I came, I brought mostly brand new never worn with tags items. None with any signs of wear. I got more than half of the things I brought in back marked because of condition. Was I offended? Honey...no. They buy what's selling and what they can make money off of. It's a business not a charity.Sounds like there was a bad egg employee that I never met.During my last visit, with trade-ins that were worth nothing in my life, I bought two pairs of shorts, four collared shirts, a matching track suit, a pair of dress socks, pair of shoes, two puzzles, a power ranger figure, all in new condition and paid around $40 🌟I love a good deal and have been to several trade-in places. This one is great.

I dropped off seven pretty dresses, three of them were Easter dresses. We are 6 weeks away from Easter and you would think that they would want them. One was a Macy's dress that was worn once it was originally $40 bought one hear ago. no marks on it whatsoever and beautiful. The others they said were out of style. One was a troll's dress and the other was a sparkly heart dress. I have two young girls so I know what's in style for young girls and they were all adorable. All while I was shopping there to find the dirtiest shoes ever in one of their bins. they were almost completely brown around the bottom. And I brought that to her attention and she said they're more lenient on shoes. No one was friendly and as I was walking away I said ok thanks nobody said anything or even bye. I'm not sure how this place is even in business with their horrible customer service and their unfair buying practices. Don't waste your time.

They are always so rude here! And today was the icing on the cake. I walked in with a small tote. No hello, no welcome in, I didn’t even say anything and they just up front said, “We stopped looking through totes at 4pm. Come back tomorrow at 10-4.” It was 4:30pm when I walked in. They close at 6pm. How was I supposed to know? There’s no signs or anything that say that they stop looking at merchandise two hours before close. The one in Northfield doesn’t do that. The staff were so hot and bothered. They laughed at me as I walked out. Never again!

Staff always comes across as though you're interrupting their day and important conversations. Have never walked in and felt like an appreciated customer. Only reason I return is for cheap clothing but it would be nice if the employees were nicer. Even the owner comes across snooty and stuck up; never makes small talk or acts like your money is keeping her business running. If I owned this store I'd at least make my customers feel like they were imporant to me...because they are!

Wow! As a first time mom who literally needs everything, I was extremely impressed by the huge selection in everything (not only clothes). Every item was extremely clean and the items I bought look brand new, I’d never know they came from a consignment place. My new favorite store to save money while having quality at the same time for my little one.

When I first walked in I had a bathtub with me. I was greeted from one of the girls there by telling me that I could take that right back to the car,they won't take it. The isles had clearance bins in the middle of them which you could have tripped over. Most of the clothes I brought in had the tags on them but I was told they were worn. The one girl was eating her salad right next to a pile of clothes and dropping her food off the fork. A lot of the baby clothes had stains on them. The staff was not very helpful in fact they were all just standing around talking the whole time I was there. I will never go back. This was the Stow store. Very dissatisfied.

I find this store to be clean, efficient and comfortable. I've shopped there for children, grandchildren. They have beautiful clothes and many other items that are for children. What a way to save money! You can buy almost anything there you need at a very reduced price. I would recommend that to anyone who has children.

I have both sold to them and purchased from them. I was super impressed by the organization of the store. Everything was set up by gender, size item type and color. My first visit I was searching frantically for black dress pants for my toddler and located them almost immediately! Prices are super reasonable for buyers (the pants I bought we're $4!) so you can't expect to get much when you sell. That being said, I was really happy with what they offered me when I sold to them.

Fairly good store- the clothes are priced ok. If you try to sell items they barely take anything and when they do, offer you maybe a couple dollars. Sometimes it is very surprising considering some of the items on the racks are way below normal standards. The women behind the counter have been very rude the past couple times I’ve been there (except one girl who I wish I could remember her name to shout her out)- they ignore you when you walk in the door, their conversations are incredibly loud no matter what they’re talking about, and often times it’s gossip. Yes the issues suck but at the end of the day I’m not paying brand new prices for clothes my kids won’t wear for more than a couple months, so here is where I come.

I had a great time at the store today - my daughter loved shopping here and I was able to let her pick things out because they are reasonably priced. I also took things in to sell and was pleased with the amount - I had some things that were never worn and I know I wouldn't have gotten as much if I tried to sell them in a garage sale (hehe and I don't have to sit all day in the hot sun - so that's worth something to me as it is) ...thank you we'll be back :)

Beware! This store never buys any stuff back even if bring back the items you bought here. This has been the third time for us when they have refused to buy items back which were bought in this store. All items we tried selling were in working condition. If you bring a bunch of stuff they just buy a few just to appear to be buying back items. The majority of items will be refused. I am gonna go to the North Canton store going forward. They are a much nicer store even though it is a 30 min drive.

I'm so excited! Today I went into the store to find some fall outfits and there was so much to choose from! A lot of times when you go into second hand stores, the inventory seems to be hit or miss, but I've always had great luck at this store! I've also brought clothing in to sell back and the staff was friendly and quick to go through my baskets! I love selling back because it gives me more money to buy!!! Wahooo!!

Not worth it to drop off for consignment. There are no guarantees they will take any of your items and the wait time can be as much as two or three hours then you have to come back the same day to get your basket and what they don’t want. Unless you live in walking distance not worth the time. Seems the priority is to benefit their needs only with no concern for customers.

Keep these in mind... offers are just that... an offer. You are not obligated to accept it. If you want top dollar, sell it yourself, not to a RESALE business. They resell items to stay afloat. Don't expect to be able to resell merchandise that you purchased used in the first place. Those items are now even more worn and outdated. Just because you purchased it there does NOT mean they should purchase it back from you when you are done with it. This store is wonderful, clean and organized. Kudos to the owner and staff.

I brought in multiple totes of children's clothing. They rejected 90% of them. The clothing was by and large in good condition and very gently used.. The staff was polite and they were efficient but I was very disaapointed and I felt that the whole experience was a waste of my time.

Honestly I have tried giving them multiple chances thinking that maybe they were having a bad day but anytime you go in there they are rude and unwelcoming. You always feel judged for asking any question and even was laughed at when asking a question about clearance. Don’t come here if you want a positive experience you won’t get one there or any help for that matter!

I took my son's shoes in to sell and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They are selective, though, and won't take anything that looks worn. The prices they paid are lower than what I would get if I sold the items on my own, but it is easy and worth saving the time.
