I went today to get my six month old Goldendoodle's nails trimmed and filed after making an appointment yesterday. The man working was very kind, handled her well, and seemed to care about what he was doing. I didn't get his name but he had long hair and glasses. He said her nails weren't bad, but they feel a hundred times better now. I would recommend.

I use their "bath your own pet" about once a month. Could be a little cleaner. Still...it's convenient, much easier than bending over a home bathtub. And because my dog is more "contained" (smaller area) he doesn't seem as nervous. They have puppy shampoo, hypoallergenic shampoo, sensitive shampoo, and conditioner. The force of the sprayer is good, too.

I'm not sure what was going on my last visit to this Pet Supplies Plus. There was 7-8 employees just standing around the front of the store. One bunch was actively complaining and saying they were going to apply somewhere else. Meanwhile, there were kittens with a nasty litterbox that made the area smell. Bird cages that were covered in poop and needed a good cleaning. The lizard tanks needed cared for. There was a leopard gecko sitting atop the one house that looked like he was dead and drying under the heat lamp. Half shedding, eyes sunken in. He didn't even look like a leopard gecko and I just barely saw what might have been breathing. The leopard geckos were all small and skinny. Meanwhile there's kids looking in this tank asking questions. There were Betta fish that were less than ok looking in those small cups. The fish tanks were the only half decent looking thing here.There were only a couple bags of crickets done up and no other crickets for those of us with lizards. Not sure if it was an ordering issue or no one felt the need to do anymore.I normally have a decent experience at this store but this time just was not ok.

Great experience, as always! Stopped in for probiotic powder for the pup, and left with a few bottles of joint supplements as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful each time I've visited, and of course, dog friendly!

Brought my 2 huskies in to the steubenville pet supplies for nail trims and a kind young man named Matt did a great job . He talked to them and made them feel comfortable while he trimmed and had them both done pretty quckly. Will definitely request him for their next trim. Prices are very reasonable as well

Got what we needed. People there don't really seem to like animals or their jobs. Like Weirton store better. Weirton employees like animals and are very nice.

Walked in the door after reading the signs out front and saw they had free delivery one hour curbside pick up. When I got inside, the cashier waved and said hello and look back down at her phone. I asked her where the free delivery area was. She said she’s not quite sure. Then she looked back down at her phone and my parting words where I hope you enjoy your phone. She couldn’t even take time to try and find out when she’s the first employee you see going in the store and she didn’t even bother we left.

Prices are a little high and they don't always have my cats food. The staff are always very friendly and helpful!Update: They are now stocking more of the cat food I buy (Weruva) I'm very pleased to say!I also really like the rewards program!Always a good stock of food for cats and dogs. The staff are great!

They sold fish with a disease that killed over half of my tank population the tank was healthy prior to the purchase of their fish the company refuses to provide information on where they get their inventory and refuses to take responsibility the people at the store were as helpful as they could be it's not their fault its a company problem the employees were great but don't buy fish from these stores

First time coming to this PSP in Steubenville the employee I talked to had absolutely no care in the world about me being in the store. I asked her simple questions about cat food and she told me to look on Google to find what I needed. I don’t feel like this is proper customer service. I used to work for PSP and would have offered to help the customer find the food they were looking for, not suggest they just use Google. Very unhappy with the customer service I received at this location.I came here Tuesday 10/25 around 11:30. she should definitely have a better customer service attitude . Looked on my receipt. Always have what your pet neef or likes ! Decent staff & know what they are there for !! A tad high on prices, but a long way to go for the next pet store !! 5 kitties & a bird and have no problems with food !!

I'm here more often than I need to be. Most of the supplies I need o can get here and the staff is incredibly friendly. They price match competition even Chewy and Amazon so when they have what I am looking for I always bring my business here. The groomers do a great job too and always give you the best deal. Our geriatric shih-tzu won't let us brush her anymore because she can't see and things scare her on top of her having a hard time movie. Our groomer Cora is always very patient and gentle with her to get her looking and feeling better!

Relatively good. Lots of options. I felt a few prices were a bit high but some that I was pleasantly surprised about also. So I guess I'd really have to say that as a "Specialty" store it's prices really aren't that bad. depending on what you are looking for and considering their selection.Didn't use it but did see their dog grooming stations in operation. I am impressed!

Great service and friendly staff. They went out of their way to take care of me and my new little friends. All are still present and accounted for. Swimming 🏊‍♀️ happily 😊around my tank. The guy who takes care of the fish and frogs 🐸, let me know where I could find a special kind of place to take one of my fish that was getting way to big to be happy in my tank and thanks to him he will have a much better life and plenty of care for his life and definitely for his size.

Love this place. Very clean place, great atmosphere for children, pets, families, elderly, and anyone who loves animals!!! Very great staff, I usually come to Pet Supplies 1 a week for crickets for my Gecko lizard and they usually have everything at your finger tips if not if you ask they will direct you to what ever it is your looking for. Great place would recommend to anyone.Even if your just wanting to check out some pets!!! 😁👍
