Mr. Pendelton gave my elderly mother the run-around for over a month. She reached out to him on to get an estimate for repairs urgently needed to her home after a bad storm. He came out and looked at the damage, and told her someone would be out to inspect her roof. Didn't hear anything back for 3 weeks, so she followed up with him. He told her that he was working on her estimate and again claimed that someone would be coming to look at her roof. 2 more weeks go by and still nothing. She called him again today to request an update, and he tells he that "we won't be able to get to your job." Not sure why she was discriminated against or why he never contacted her to decline the job, but it's extremely unprofessional to operate a business this way.Edit to address Mr. Pendelton's reply: His response is misleading. My mother's mobile home is not a 1960s model; it was build in 1987. To be honest, it feels as if he's insulting her home due to its age, as I see no other reason to even mention that here.At no time did he express to her that his roofer was having medical issues, nor that he was declining the job for any other of the reasons that he listed. She did mention to him that she hoped to replace the entire home in the future, but indicated to him that for now, she could only repair the damages. I find it odd that he would not have declined the job the day of his initial inspection, when one of the reasons that he provided for declining was her hope to replace the home eventually.Regardless, none of the reasoning from Mr. Pendelton excuses the point that he never reached out to my mother to advise her that he wasn't going to do the job. He strung her along and told her multiple times that he was working on an estimate and that he was getting in touch with his roofer. He didn't decline the job until her 2nd follow-up with him, which was 5 weeks after he came and looked at her home.

We are very pleased that we went with Pendleton Construction! They took our room and completely transformed it to exactly how we wanted it. They worked with us during the whole process and listened to all our concerns with our fur babies. They even went above and beyond to help catch my dog one day when I accidentally let him out! We are very impressed with them and the job they did and by the fact that they wanted it done right! We are definitely using them again for the rest of our house!
