Put in a delivery for two garage doors and openers. Also ordered wood and a few misc items for my garage. They were delivered damaged. During the drop off it was mentioned to the driver and he said to call the store. Both garage doors were damaged with what appeared to be from aForklift. One garage door opener was also forked and damaged the battery in it. I called the store and no one would pick up so I went over. I spoke to a customer service representative about what happened and she scheduled a pickup. She was even going to credit me the delivery fee so I could re order it and pay just a single delivery fee. Her name was Britni. She is about the only competent customer service representative there. After my pickup the driver moved some damage material into my neighbor's yard and left with the rest. I called the store to talk to someone about it and would get transferred to someone named Ryan. I was transferred five times and the phone would disconnect. Finally that evening I spoke to a store manager named Melinda. She gave me credit for the damaged items in addition to the downspout the driver took off the pile and placed in my neighbors yard. She told me I would not get credit for the delivery fee because I got some items even though britni said this would happen. For the record the day before I spoke to Javier and he said he say the notes for me to get credit for the delivery fee.Doesn't end here. I selected a delivery date and time that I would be home. 12-4 pm. 7am of the delivery day the time got changed in my app to 9am to noon. I called and spoke with the delivery department and said they have no control over times because they outsource the trucks. I told him I put in a specific time frame for a reason. He said the time I made was a suggestion not a request.I had to have a neighbor babysit the delivery this time and the drop went fine. I couldn't be home because my drop time was just a suggestion.Not sure I can justify the 30 some phone calls and my time to buy there ever again . Cooperate office said they will refund me the delivery fee which hasn't reflected yet but I am confident they will.If you have any issues there britni is the only customer service representative I would talk to. They need to promote her to manager.

I had an oven delivered. The vinyl floor got ripped when the drivers were leaving with the old oven and they refused to replace it. Ordered doors from Lowes. They measured the frames and 3 months later, they delivered the wrong size because the measurements were wrong. I ordered a washer and dryer. Neither were set up correctly and the washer flooded my basement. Bottom line is DO NOT BUY big ticket items from Lowes. Their installers or delivery personnel will screw it up and might even cost you more money. Never again will I order from this company!

They delivered the wrong water heater today, electric instead of gas. I tried to call to get it corrected. I called many times before I could even get anyone to answer. After talking to various people who transferred me to no one, causing me to have to call back repeatedly, one finally agreed to have a manager call me when they are back from lunch, which the manager did not. Nobody seems concerned and nobody thought to even apologize. I still have yet to have anyone call me to fix this.**I called back and they let the phone ring for a ridiculous amount of time. A girl answered and then hung up on me. I called right back and they let the phone ring for ten minutes, then picked up the phone and set it down so the phone would quit ringing I guess. But wouldn't say anything.**finally after close to two hours of trying to get someone at that store on the phone, I got ahold of a manager who told me they could come get their wrong one in two days but couldn't bring me the right one for another four days, because "it wasn't paid for". Hey dummy the one I paid for is still in your store. So they are zero help and I am going to have to go in person, take them their water heater, and get mine, that I paid them to deliver.

I like Lowes but I was disappointed in their flowers this year..I have been getting my flowers there for years and years but today the flowers and plants didn't look that good and the price is to high on most of them..Used to get a 6 pack of flowers and now they are a 4 pack and they raised the prices..So we left and went else where..I was sad and disappointed

The people really make this place nice! I'd love to see straighter boards in lumber and more good quality lumber yard workers (who aren't high on the job and know where things are without searching for 30 minutes).That said, the supervisory staff and Cody, Chloe, Brenda, and Ben are awesome! You truly are Rockstars in your field and store!!!

From a Driver's perspective delivering this store is the best. All people there are friendly and prompt. The management is helpful and polite. I would give 10 stars if possible. Can't thank them enough for all their help.

Don't order anything online and expect next day delivery even though you pay for it. Ordered a lawnmower Saturday paid 40 dollars for a Sunday. It's now Tuesday. Lowes does not know where my lawnmower is and the store will not help. Customer service has tried to help but to no avail. Store has been supposed to call for for 2 days. That has not happened. I'm completely unsatisfied. Someone from Lowes had best contact me asap.

I saw a bell & Howell ceiling fan with lights that just screws in the light socket on TV Sunday 4/28/24. I checked to see if anyone locally carried it and Lowes in Steubenville, OH did. Said they had 16 in stock and if I ordered on line I could pick-up tomorrow. Since it was going to be such a warm night I decided to drive over and pick one up right then. I got there & looked for a couple of minutes and then saw 2 employees talking. I interrupted and asked for help. Right away the biggest employee they have who wears a maroon shirt with a vest and shorts(the guy is like 6ft.3ins.)brown hair, glasses & walks with a limp told me they didn't carry that idem! I said yes you do...it says so on your website. He actually waited while I looked it up on my phone again and SHOWED him. Then he made some lame excuse about how it was in some kind of stock whatever and when I told him I want it anyway he proceeded to tell me they were for a special promotion for memorial day!!! I told again the website doesn't say that & I want one....TODAY! Reluctantly he finally got the electric lift and retrieved it from the top rack. The whole box held all 16 apparently and he opened it way up there and got my one out and brought it down for me.....finally!!! Now this is only a $50.00 item but because of his attitude I decided to get the porch shade and a couple other things/ plants another time or go to HOME DEPOT if this is the best Lowes can do. I'll drive further for nicer people who want to help you because their DAMN JOBS depend on it! A day later I'm still angry about it; however the ceiling fan works great!

If your a Veteran don't waste your time with this store. Even though I showed my Honorable Discharge ID, I was turned down for a Veteran discount by some punk kid clerk at check out just because it didn't have my photo on it, Honorable discharge i.d.'s don't have a photo. !!! Boscov's, Cabela's and other stores accept it with no problem. Lowes of Steubenville just lost a big sale. shingles, tar paper, etc.

The ladies that helped me today were awsome, helped me find everything I needed and were so sweet!New adventure flooring, and those boxes were heavy Lovely Miss Lisa 10 helped me through self check out with 80 peel and sticks and the primer I was done in under 3 minutes Thank you Miss Lisa!

Absolutely disgusting that there were only self checkouts open. No registers. And they had one person handling 4 self checkouts with 10 people waiting. She was 5/5 great. Lowes 0/5. Utterly dismal service on lowes part. This is how you drive customers to Menards or Busy Beaver. Management failures. Try a better hardware store with actual customer service. One that cares more about the customers than the bottom line.

Associates are clueless. I bought a butcher block for a kitchen island. The directions say see a lowes paint associate on how to seal it. So I asked and they told me they had no clue they never put in a butcher block before. Not helpful what so ever.

Decent selection of everything. Paint colors, patio furniture, cleaning supplies, lighting, etc. Not only do they welcome dogs but they also keep treats around for them. Corgi approved.

I was at Lowe’s shopping and when I went to check out there was only a self checkout to be used. I never use them I don’t work for Lowe’s. It look like I will never shop there again!!!

I do a lot of remolding and have done a lot at home I lile to buy extra rather then run out and have to go get more. Im tired of when i do a return im disrespected and treated as a thief when i have my receipts and spend thousands of dollars here ive been embarrassed a few times and even told them to keep it and just left you guys need to work on how to treat people and manners im contacting corporate because its getting old

I'm doing a diy for a fireplace and I asked if they cut wood to the measurements I needed and they said yes. I gave the measurements to the gentlemen and he was very polite and took the time out to measure and cut the wood. Thank you for taking the time out to help me.

Purchased a dishwasher for my rental property.When they delivered it the first time it was already damaged.They took it back because they didn't have the parts to install it.This happened two more times while I was away.Still no parts still damaged.3 months later finally installed,worked one week.Now it won't work at all.I contacted Lowe's steubenville Talked to Melissa who claims she is a manager.She refused to help me!!

maybe i looked like i cldnt afford a new washing machine? i had just come from my construction job at franciscan university..my daughter needs a washer, i went in with intent to purchase,after taking my time lookin at them all & after at least a dozen employees looked at me without a single one offering to assist, i left disgusted.I'll most likely travel out of the area before i give them any of our business in the future.

Placed online order when I went to pick up the person working the customer service desk was untrained and had an attitude that I would expect her to help. Made two more trips over 3 days garden center locked from outside 2 hrs before closing and no registers inside open self checkout only. When I asked for assistance I was told by a man standing in between the registers he was sorry no help was available please go to self check out. Absolute worst experience lots of workers standing no one that can assist a customer. There was one employee working hard for the last 30 minutes of opening hours kept announcing how many minutes until they closed she ensured every customer in the building felt rushed. One customer put down her items and left without a purchase. I'll stick to M&M Hardware going forward!

This refrigerator was delivered to my house on Tuesday, September 5. The delivery person walked to the front door w a measuring tape and told me we have a problem, will not be able to get up porch steps (problem 1).Then he walked in my house and saw my old refrigerator and saw the copper pipe for the water behind my old refrigerator. He told me he cannot touch this. Someone (a plumber) MUST disconnect the pipe. The delivery person walked out. (Problem 2).So now, I am stuck with no refrigerator. I’m searching for a plumber to assist w the copper pipe. When I purchased the refrigerator the Salesperson told me that if the pipe was behind the refrigerator, Lowes would do this. Well, that was NOT true.If I had known this, I would have never purchased this refrigerator from Lowe’s. Your store stinks for Customer Service. Now I’m left w no refrigerator and searching for a plumber.There should be signs up at the time of purchase of what the delivery person can and cannot do. I think that would make customers think twice about making purchases at your store.It’s not like I didn’t spend any money there. A $2,000 purchase. I expected better treatment than that!!!
