Consistent empty shelves. Expired food everywhere with no discounts on the almost expired foods. They just leave it all on the shelves with nothing new. Half of this city has to use this Kroger. Imagine those who don’t see it til they home and lose all of their money on food they can’t even eat. Also I’ve noticed date tags over top of older date tags. We can’t afford this to be happening. Do better.

Well, they've got everything you need and more. You can do pick up or delivery. The pick up is free order online. Follow the instructions, tell them you're on your way, and pull into one of the dedicated spots.Tell them what lane you are parked and Bob's your Uncle! They bring it out and load it into your car. How much more can you ask for? 😉😎😉

The fact that they put incompetent workers incharge of loading the cars for pick up orders. The same guy that loads my moms groceries every single time cant seem to comprehend that if you put heavy items on top it will crush the stuff on the bottom. When you ask him to please put the pop and heavy items on the bottom he gets an attitude and snaps back that he never puts the heavy stuff on top. They need to either move him or train him because the common sense to not put eggs and bread underneath five 6packs of pop is complete lost on him. We shouldnt have to deal with damaged food on every single order. Its completely ridiculous.

Here lately almost everytime me and my family shop here we have one or more items that are expired. I'm not talking a couple days but several months. Idk who is responsible for doing this job but I'm really about done shopping here.

I love Kroger, but tonight I did pickup and got home to find blackberries with mold highly visible through the whole fuzzy container. Literally was picking up 15 minutes ago.

They rearranged the store and put all the things people steal inside a small quarantined section with its own checkout. Which is fine, in this area, I get it. But its so inconvenient because its a mash of toiletries and specific laundry stuff … ALL the other related items are in their original sections and locations EXCEPT for these select items and subsections.Its ridiculous to have to check out two times so i can buy tooth paste and body wash and have to zig zag across the store if something you want isn’t in with the other laundry detergent because some people steal tide.This is not it Kroger. There are multiple other options in this town. I won’t be back to Kroger.

Kroger has everything that I need, more so than it's competitors. Walmart, Mijeirs and Aldi are IMO far behind what Kroger has to offer in product. I use the monthly coupons that come to me in the mail. Kroger has been around for eons and I will continue to patronize.

If you’re going to order a cake from here, call! I ordered a cake online for my grandmother’s 90th birthday, and when I went to pick it up (directly on my way to the birthday dinner), they couldn’t find it. When I told them that I’d ordered online they said no one had checked email… the lady behind the bakery counter was very apologetic though and was frustrated because she doesn’t have email access so she couldn’t have checked herself. She said that the people that do have email access apparently don’t check it often. She did do a quick message on a pre-made cake for me. So Kroger - give more of your bakery employees email access please!

About 8 people in line for self check out and 5 for the 1 cashier lane that was open. We were there on Labor Day, and only half of the self check outs were open.

Over an hour and a half waiting for click list. Call in and ask about the order & they claim the system *glitched" and we need to keep waiting. Go to Bechtle, they at least know what they're doing.

For the last six months when I go to customer service I'm told I will have to wait an hour or more because Kroger got rid of the people that sorted the buggies that had food that people didn't want. I would say get help and keep customer service open or I'm going to shop at Giant Eagle.

This kroger is always clean..the bathrooms are generally clean. The staff is always really nice and helpful. I have never been dissatisfied here. They usually have a nice produce section. Rarely have I not found what I am looking for. The meat and bakery are always well kept and well staffed. I haven't had to wait in line. Overall great store.

Not a good place to shop if you have a kid with autism very rude and disrespectful employees that could use a good beating for there behavior knowing they went for a company we're all different kinds of people and familys go. Went in there to shop and a lady that was picking groceries named BONNIE kept staring at my child shaking her head no and going to a coworker making rude and disrespectful comments about my kid works at east main Kroger's in Springfield. Just harassing my child took everything in me to not say a word or even at that just to just put hands on the disrespectful employee. If you go there and your kid has autism beware of the rude and disrespectful employees that have no buissness working around people

This store has been here for many years and it's always been my favorite place to shop for groceries.The staff has always been nice, in my experiences, the store is always clean and I've never had an issue finding what I've gone in for.The store may be part of a big chain, but it has always had that "Mom and Pop", hometown feel to me.It's the people and the attitude of those people within the store that makes it feel this way.So Thanks to the employees of this location for the care and pride you take in making THIS Kroger a "hometown" store.

Worst Kroger store I've shopped at. Isles are super small. Products usually out. Very dirty at times. Manager was seen upstairs smoking whilst I was in line.Very poor. I've shopped here for years and never seen it as bad as it's been over the last year.

There is a huge change in the store going through renovation. Items are arranged differently but more easy to follow overhead aisle signs. The floors are dirty, they are adding more self checkout lanes. The deli is closed except for prepackaged lunch meats & sliced cheese at decent price. Milk products, breads & eggs are a good value. There appear to be higher food prices offering even more Kroger branded products at a cheaper price. Customer service is great!

I love Kroger stores. Easy to shop and a great selection. My complaint is the rusted antique shopping carts. They rattle and are difficult to push. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 carts before I can select one that I can push and doesn’t make a noise.

Never have small carts available. This makes people like myself (elderly) have to clean and fight with the big old carts. The big carts are just to much for me to handle anymore. Since customer is cleaning their own carts now, it is also more cart to wipe down.

They have laundry detergent and toothpaste enclosed in glass..grabbed detergent in the middle of grocery shopping and 2 teens stopped me like I was shoplifting and said I had to pay for that here...yeah NO THANKS. I told them to put it back.

Outdated Kroger's. In need of remodel. Selection is very good they carry things that other Kroger's in town do not. The store is usually clean. I think more lighting on the outside would make people feel safer of the night time. The staff could be more helpful and friendly.

I appreciate Kroger being open for shopping and doing the best they can to stock items that are in high demand. But when you go thru the store and one of the employees is shopping and and has items that were delivered earlier in the week makes it frustrating. They are able get items straight off the truck!!!

I have only been back in Springfield for the last year due to this pandemic. I am a avid shopper of Kroger and I go to Main St. The most. In the last year I have seen a huge decline in Kroger's Produce big time. I don't know about other people and I've asked around to see if this was something that has gotten worse because of the pandemic or if it was happening before, they have all said it was happening well before. So Kroger I ask what is going on. So here's my story.....I went to the Kroger's on Main St. On 5/6/2021 I picked up some mandarins, mind you I did check several before picking the bag I decided, I woke up on 5/7/2021 grabbed a mandarin and my thumb sinks right into the one I chose, I pulled it out and had to throw the entire bag away. Pics in the details!!!! How does this happen soooooo much. This has happened more time then I can count now and I've noticed it happens more at the Kroger's on Main St. In Springfield, Ohio.So I'm asking please chose your product a little bit better. I have had to bye more just to the next day throw it out and waste what I've had to work so hard for. I am a single mother of 3 older teen boys now and I can not keep wasting, and it really is gross. While I'm at it also and people feel how they feel mind you its a few only a few want them, but I do not get paid to check out myself. With so much going on with our job industry and jobs are needed EVERYWHERE, the self check out lanes should be shut down. Put the cashier's back into rotation, and open there lanes. Baggers could actually do what they were haired for. So many times I will walk in and see so many workers just standing around. Again I do NOT get PAID to do what someone else gets paid for.

Love my Kroger. Since the remodel the employees dont seem to be happy and some budget cuts were made and put more work on the employees. I dont agree with that. I love the employees and have always treated me great and very easy to talk to and now they still nice but you can tell they are frustrated and I've spoke with a few and I just dont agree with how they are being treated :(

lots of empty shelves, I they were doing something with end of the year stuff. Other than that I had a great shopping experience, I they had their cut flowers for 1.99ea. I was thrilled. Thanks Kroger's.😊

I go to Kroger on east main street. Their fried chicken and tenders are way over cooked, and dried out! This happens quite frequently! They need to be thrown out instead of pawning them off to customers! I would give the deli a zero if I could!
