The gentleman who was the only one working it seemed was so polite he helped my friend find a tin pan then was even going to cover her the rest of the change due out of his own pocket which I thought was quite amendable then I said I'd cover her part since I was next in line so he didn't have to make up extra out of his drawer. Thank you wish I would've gotten his name.

I don't understand why people at work wants to let there store get this unorganized & dirty. It is a reflection of you the worker!I went in & 2 male's was behind the counter. No car's in the parking lot & was very surprised that the 2 of them was on their phones. Take some pride in yourselves & make some effort @ doing your job. There was mops & brooms in the Ile-way to where you couldn't get down it. It was very hard to get to your products. Very difficult to shop there, I hope corporate management finds a way to keep this store. It's close to the hospital and can & probably does help their business but gosh clean it up! Employees have no business sitting on their buttons when they have time to kill. Their @ work not @ home! Ima going to go back to see if anything changes. I HOPE SO!!JUST HAPPY TO HELP 😉

You can't never shop at the store they are always closed and then when they are open their employees are super rude don't care if you got kids or not fly the f-bomb like it's just another word… 11 months later, and nothing has changed about this place except for the employees and they are all still extremely rude and always closing the store early

They really do the best that they can considering location, supply shortage, and the Karen's they have to deal with. People who come in and act like they are owed something by these workers and that they can just treat them however they wish, those people really need to shop somewhere else and try that. Quit treating retail workers like you own them, you're horrible for doing it and karma will catch up to you, this city ain't that big.

Nice variety. Prices ok. They are always out of stuff. Rude managers. Management does not wear masks. They don't clean regularly. Always sitting outside smoking. Trash and butts always around the door. The new lay out is nice though.

The employees at Family Dollar were pleasant and seemed to like their jobs there. I could have gone without all the lesbian lovers life as I shopping to the store but other than that they did their jobs efficiently and with pride they did very good job and the store was packed abundantly on the shelves

When I came in yesterday, there was a VERY VERY rude older lady around 3pm that took my order and I was upset about it all day. I came in again today because my car battery died and my phone had also died so I asked if I could use their phone, Beth offered to plug my phone in so I could call someone and gave me the heater SHE was using to warm up cause I was freezing trying to get my car to start with my portable battery charger. She even tried calling her family members to give me a jump! She is the most wonderful cashier I've ever come upon. I was crying my eyes out and she made me feel so much better!

There is no customer service and the cashier was very rude and unprofessional. One of the stock women who was there visiting with her boyfriend as she was working listening to music that was more profanity than music. Not appropriate when people have their young children in the store trying to shop. Not going back, would rather spend a little more gas money and take my business elsewhere.

Family Dollar at 1014 W. Main St. Springfield, Ohio sales damaged Merchandise. Then when the customer brings it back they refuse to exchange or refund the merchandise. My 12 year old son bought a mouse for his computer so he could do his school work brought it home pluged it up and it didnt work. He had to wait until the next day to take it back cause they was closing when he bought the mouse. They refused to exchange it, and he had the receipt. This is the 3rd time this has happened at this store with different merchandise. It is hard enough times right now with out the stores trying to screw over customers.They also dont practice social distanicing none of them where mask and never see any of them clean nothing. Also they have a sing that says 10 people in the store at one time so many times since they have put the sign up I have seen way more in that store then 10 people at a time. They need all different staff.

Terrible customer service.....3 people working in the store and only 1 person running a register ehile there was at least 15 people in line waiting. Everyone in there smells like weed! Im inbthere with my grandbaby and you got someone in there being loud and cussing...smh! Clean the trashy store up!

Place was clean. Went there looking for curtains found some very nice ones got 5 sets for the downstairs of my house $12.50 a set. Curtain rods were $1.00 each.

The store is trash. The coolers are almost completely empty, the shelves are bare, there is stock all over the place.

Springfield police were there when I arrived. Assumed it was for a shop lifting incident. Dirty, run down, bad part of town. Expect bad management because they make store managers work over 60 hours a week for around $ 25,000/ year.

Very empty no stock a lot of empty shelves very rude cashier's I was literally about jumped by a customer and a manager at this store because the bell chirped and she got in my face and very close to my grandson screaming at the top of her lungs and very aggressive I asked for help a few times no can help but people who come in to use the bathroom get attended to before a paying customer I would rather walk to another store then to ever deal with trashy mean hateful people and by the I had just purchased 25 $ worth of merchandise this is not safe to shop they are out of a lot of items and they do like their job and they close at 4pm now it is a horrible mess and they probably will shut down because of the disgusting hateful cashiers and managers who are there as of now

You all need to stop letting them panhandles in your parking lot you can't even get out of the car cuz you're standing beside your door and when you come out of the store that's still hounding you they need to stay off of people to your property cuz people getting scared and don't want to come to the store you guys need to get something done about that I have security go out there and check every time you make sure they ain't out their house and somebody sitting in the car to try to get out of the car to come in your store

I was thrown out of the store because I like many others had a book bag the cashier wanted my book bag. A few other shoppers left because of rudeness.

Found all that I needed and a few things not needed but wanted. Friendly chashier . This store has become a joke, nothing there you are looking for , boxes of stuff on the floor,. Nothing put away or on display .hasn't changed at all

Horrible customer service, while we were there an employee was yelling at a customer for forgetting thier wallet at home. Also was in line for 12 minutes and line was huge because employees were unloading a truck. Total crap!

This place is disgusting I smell an odor of a dead mouse after looking at the last bottom two shelves I noticed the candy boxes were full of mouse poop and little pieces of paper where the mice head ate the candy I told the cashier and the other girl that was working there they kind of rolled their eyes at me and they said they have an exterminator and they were on it but did not bother to remove any of the candy or any of the mice feces that were left in the boxes are on the shelves I was appalled by their attitude and I will never shop there again
