Can't keep the place open. When that's not the case, they either can't take cash, or won't take card. Like seriously, if you can't keep your store open, just shut it down so Dollar General can come in and do it right. And I guarantee all the 4-5 star reviews are from bot accounts by management to fluff their own ego, because it's never been in any clean or functional state. Been here 23 years and it's always been that way.

Three weeks worth of freight ( Hell the Easter Stuff is still on carts), No Change? SO let me ask, if you are selling something for $5.95, and I have a five and no change, We're good right, or is it only fair when you steal it? That place is a disaster area for folks like my self who suffered a stroke in the last twelve months, climbing over Boxxed Freight through out the store.

I've been going to this store for the last two years now. Before? 2018-2019? It was a mess and so cluttered in the store. Management was nice to me at least. Now? In 2020? One of the better stores I've been in now. The remodel of the store was done perfectly in my opinion and have a wider selection of foods now. This is perfect since Krogers is no longer on South Limestone. Cashiers are welcoming and the store has cleaned up so nicely in my opinion!

Well my cashier was eating a fruit cup while she rang me up and was more interested in having a conversation with the other cashier and a customer that was at the door. My cashier even asked me why I was buying a certain..... Well maybe if you would have at least looked at me one time I might have told u why I bought it. But she couldn't even tell bye have a good night.

Somewhat decent selection of products, prices are usually somewhat decent, but sometimes they're too expensive. Store is generally cramped, especially when they're unloading their deliveries... They just leave boxes laying around in the already small and cramped aisles! The employees are also almost always rude and unhelpful. I had my grandmother in there one time, and she's in a wheelchair, and I could not get her through any of the aisles she wanted to go through, but even though there was an employee walking around the aisles and saw us trying to get through, and someone at the register that I asked for help, nobody would actually do anything. Worst store in this side of town as far as employees go.

I've been in this store 3 times and each time employees were rude and unprofessional. The store was was closed several days because of lack of employees. R u kidding me... Its laughable..... I had my gym bag as I had walked from YMCA and wasn't driving. The manager said I couldn't bring bag with me. And said I could leave it on dirty floor by shopping carts. Not behind register but out where someone could still my bag..She was rude and this store is a joke... No safe place to put my bag y I shopped...... Wow.... and no cash back.... are u kidding me......This store is a disgrace and should be closed until they get management.This is the first bad review I've given and all you have to do is check my reviews. I'm fair and don't like to be negative but this store gives Dollar General a bad name.☹☹☹☹☹👉👎👎👎👇👇 Went by store again and it was closed again....Wow and this is a national chain. R u kidding me and it can't even keep good employees.The main Corporate office need to do something about this store and get some management that knows how to properly run a retail business. What a joke.

The store on selma rd had struggle moving around always have boxes in the way. And the check out is always to long. Never can go in to grab something quick without waiting to check out. Always seems to be short on funds. Couple times had to walk out without my change. Employee mostly apologize. Need to do better.

Very nasty store to shop in it is always dirty and cluttered with boxes all over the store the employee's are fighting over who is going to help you and they will not let you use a handbadket cause they thank are going to fill it and run out the door sorry but not everyone steals merchandise most of us pay for it. I want be back I will try the dollar store down the st.

I've always shopped family Dollar on Selma road it's close and convenient for me I stopped going to it for a while just had the wrong crew working for him but let me tell you the crew you have now is awesome the store is clean I always get greeted when I walk in

The store is always in need of a good mopping, which is weird because they sell mops and floor cleaner there. I found some cheap makeup there though. That was cool.

Slow, rude workers. Talked more than worked. Every isle was blocked by boxes and stuff. Stood in line 20 minutes. Would not recommend this store at all.

Very rude can not get customer service. Not a child friendly store employees uses very bad language in the store. Hard to get waited on. Usually a 5 to 10 minutes wait or longer.
