CVS has been my go to pharmacy for years now. I used Walgreens for the longest time but switched to CVS since their generic prescriptions are generally cheaper than most other Pharmacies. They also have awesome deals with their coupons.

Miss Brenda at the pharmacy is always so kind and helpful when I pick up my prescriptions.The pharmacy has their limited hours posted, but if I need to pick up a medication outside of those times, CVS has been able to transfer prescriptions to other CVS locations that are open.

Imagine driving 40 minutes to an urgent care for your sick one-year-old, having the doctor prescribe much needed antibiotics for a raging ear infection, then driving 40 minutes back home to your pharmacy, waiting on the pharmacy phone line for 20 minutes, then pulling up to the window to see a handwritten note saying that the pharmacy is closed Saturday and Sunday, no reason given. At least update your phone's messaging system. I could have made it in time to another pharmacy if you had, but I wasted precious time on your phone line when you were closed. So unprofessional! If you can't find enough staff, please, just stay closed. People depend on you. Let us depend on someone else.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Constantly long waiting time for prescriptions. Twice now have I gone to pick up prescriptions that I’ve needed pretty bad, and they came back and said that I had already picked it up (not the case at all). After arguing about it, I was unable to get my prescription. Waiting for the final refills to run out and will be taking business elsewhere. Typically, I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but the customer service and organization of this location has been atrocious for a while now.

They were closed an hour early with all of the lights still on but the door was locked. Checked the store hours that were by the doors to make sure they didn’t change them and they were supposed to close at 9pm not 8pm. Even checked the holiday hours and 12/28 was not part of it. Next time can business hours get updated instead of left alone if they need to be changed? (Not pharmacy related)

Out of the dozen or so prescriptions I’ve had sent here, I’ve gotten maybe three of them. Almost always I end up at CVS on E Main St., which funny enough also can fill a prescription in a quarter of the time. Not sure why this place is even open.

Seems like everyone complaining has been using the drive through, just go into the store it's so much faster. The longest I've had to wait when going into the store was 20 minutes, and if my prescription wasn't there they'd just have me come in an hour or the next day. Only ever had 1 bad experience in my 10 years using this CVS and it was during the worst of covid. They work hard and deserve a higher rating than what they have right now.

Go anywhere else besides this pharmacy. They hire anybody. Every month I need my prescription filled and they come back and say I have no refills available. Mind you it’s anti depressants and my doctor numerous times has stated there are refills. Today I went into store to straighten out the mess. The woman I was working with was straight rude. Told me maybe they were cancelled because they weren’t filled since end of July. Well duh, it’s a month supply. She also got snobby with me because I didn’t call the meds the off brand rather the name brand and told me it wasn’t a prescription. So now I’m still out my meds and my doctor will be sending my prescription else where. Customer service SUCKS.

The customer service from this location, including the pharmacy is absolutely the worst ever. If I could have, I would have rated zero stars. A little kindness goes a long way, both in person and over the phone. Although I understand that it is a difficult time to hire and retain good team members, ensuring the team members you have and the pharmacy receive training on customer service is critical. Demanding nothing less from each as a condition of employment is expected. It is a shame that this is not demonstrated in this location. It is clear from your rating, we are not the only ones who have experienced this. Please do better CVS Upper Valley.

This CVS seems to be under the impression that THE MEDICATIONS THAT LITERALLY CONTRIBUTE TO THE LIVES OF OTHERS, DOES NOT MATTER!!!So get this, I go into CVS located on Upper Valley Pike on a Saturday afternoon at 2:15pm only to find that the Pharmacy was closed down. When I inquired of the front personnel/cashier I was told that THE PHARMACY WAS SHUT DOWN FOR THE WEEKENDS BECAUSE THEY ONLY HAVE ONE PHARMACIST AND SHE JUST HAD A BABY!!Now how is it that a FRANCHISED PHARMACY who knew for AT LEAST NINE MONTHS that their PHARMACIST WOULD BE INACTIVE AFTER BIRTH...DID NOT HAVE ANOTHER PHARMACIST AND STAFF to distribute MEDICATIONS THAT LITERALLY KEEP PEOPLE ALIVE?This isn't just appalling, it is yet another example of the CVS Franchise putting Shareholder Investors before the lives that they are LEGALLY MANDATED TO MEDICALLY SUPPORT.This conduct should be illegal, and if it isn't, it's just another example of Rich Shareholders dictating the behavior of a Health Care entity so their stock price rises.It is just common sense that Health Care Firms (nursing homes, pharmacy retailers, Hospitals etc..) WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR "DIRECT CARE AND CARE GIVING " to SICKLY CITIZENS OF AMERICA....SHOULD NOT BE PERMITTED TO BE PUBLICLY TRADED ON THE STOCK MARKET. Nursing homes and Retail Pharmaceutical Suppliers CAN ONLY RAISE THEIR STOCK BY EXPANDING THEIR STORE VOLUME OR CUTTING OVERHEAD....none of which is conducive to the direct care of a loved one.But we live in an age of cowards who just "accept" the "in your face, what ya goin' to do about it" mentality that defines those who should be the last people on earth in charge of businesses that "NON-serve" TAXPAYING AMERICANS who have no choice concerning their health issues or those whom they love.This type of business behavior has a motto of: "we don't care for your care, we only care about money"

I would give this pharmacy 0 stars. Just released from hospital after having surgery andy husband went to pick up my prescriptions 3 hours before they were supposed to close. They are closed and won't be open till Monday. I can't get my prescriptions so now trying to get a hold of a Dr at 630 in the evening. That pharmacy needs shut down!!

Upper Valley Pike location: store hours and pharmacy hours listed on the website are NOT correct. This is frustrating when we need a script and we go and it's closed. Also, didn't get a call or text when the script was ready, had to call. In the past I have gotten these notifications, so have learned to expect it... frustrating.

My girlfriend and I have been in line for 37 mins at the drive through and still waiting. Generations of animals have probably lived, reproduced, and died happily in this time.I called to make sure the employee handling the window hasn't died.They didn't answer so I'm assuming they are having the funeral in there.My condolences CVS.I hope the service was good.I'd leave a flower but if I leave this line it will be a lifetime until I make it to the front.Prayers to you folks

Extremely poor customer service each and every visit at the pharmacy. Heart medication doesn’t take 6 weeks, nor does it work when we waited 45 min. just now for an order from three days ago. Excuses.Doesn’t District Manager want to know these things are happening on Upper Valley Pike Springfield? We’re all for being kind and patient but isn’t this a business about customers and service?

I really appreciate that they have always treated me pleasantly, but I do have to say that I have not been pleased with the way I see the pharmacists have treated other customers. They are extremely slow and backed up, which I do understand being under staffed is stressful. But I have seen multiple customers with questions and concerns being treated with impatience and disrespect. Every single time I have walked into this store (which was every two weeks for a year), I hear the pharmacists complaining to each other about customers, loudly as I would be a good fifteen feet away and still hear the rude comments. As a customer, I do not want to walk in and be afraid of being treated badly if I have a question or concern.

Absolute TERRIBLE customer service. White, blonde, hair length just past her chest… you are very distasteful. I hope you don’t try to write down every woman’s husband/fiancé’s name and try to find them on social media! And as far as it goes for Chris, you are RUDE and give off the most careless attitude. You have terrible customer service skills and YOU need a job that does not involve working with the public! As for this CVS as a whole… Lord have mercy! How are you going to send messages telling people their Rx is ready just for me to show, sit in line for 15-20 minutes EVERY time, just to get to the window and be told it isn’t ready and I will need to come back in 45 minutes and sit through the line AGAIN for 15-20 minutes at a MINIMUM! WHY are you telling people over the phone Rx’s are ready or will be ready by a certain time (1PM to be exact) and I show up at 8PM after work, sit through your 15-20 minute line (per usual) AND IT ISN’T READY!!!!!! WHY do you think it’s okay to tell me my sons prescription for steroids to treat possible pneumonia isn’t a priority and it’ll “be ready sometime tomorrow, call before you come in.” My Lord, this place… it need some SERIOUS work, organization and attitude change.

We visited this location on July 13th, 2021. They have terrible service at the pharmacy. They will tell you that your prescription is ready and then you get there and it's either on backorder or it's a partial and they can't find it. This has happened for the past 3 months . The worst part is that we have only been going there for the past 3 months after being told by our insurance company that we had to.The one girl in the back is rude as can be (I don't know her name). The worst part is the pharmacist who was working with her just allowed it to happen. This girl has zero customer service skills should not be front-facing with any customer.Needless to say we will not be back. We will just pay the cash price at Carson Pharmacy in Northridge or Walmart. I'm not going to be forced to accept terrible customer service because my insurance company says so.

The location pictured has been replaced by a free-standing store in the same lot. CVS needs to hire more staff for the pharmacy. I waited over 5 min to be acknowledged just drop off rx. Then was told to come back in 45 min. I returned in an hour & rx still wasn't ready. Had to wait another 15 min. Meanwhile, 7 other people lined up behind me. Only go there due to insurance.

My doctor sent a prescription to this Pharmacy 5 days ago. I called them 4 times and they didn't have it ready for me. I will be looking for a different pharmacy. Not sure what the problem is but that is just to long to wait for my medication.

If I could give zero stars I would, this place is the worst. They have no consideration for the well being of the people who get their prescriptions filled. Its always closed on the weekends and the staff is miserable and it shows. Worst customer service, everything takes forever and no sense of urgency or responsibility towards people with health ailments.

If I could give a 0 instead of 1 star I wouldfor 1 the phone line is impossible to get throughfor 2 they have the worst attitudes store employees and pharmacy employeesand for 3 they close and open when they want this is one of the worst pharmacies I have ever had to deal withand 4 you never get your meds when they tell you they will be ready and when someone is sick or in pain and needs meds you are made to wait hours up to days for something you need it’s horrible

I'm giving this review for Chris. He gave me my second covid vaccine shot today. He was fast. It was painless. He was busy. I don't take any meds and don't use cvs for anything. But ikl always go to Chris for a shot if needed.

Went to pick up prescriptions they were closed today! Wasted fuel going over there. I did stop at lowes and thanked them for working ! It all older people. The young generation doesn't want to work. So sad.

This is the WORST PHARMACY I have ever been to not only is the customer service terrible the pharmacy technicians talk about the customers where others can hear…they are very rude and disrespectful they never answer the phone and you have the worst time getting your medicine filled…..:!!!!

Was asked by text about refills they said the refills would be ready in 24hours but the refills were not ready when they said but it took another 24hours. Not happy with pharmacy turn around time for text customers.
