Kyle and Trish cared for our boxer, Archie, for almost 10 years. Archie was a rescue and Kyle helped acclimate him to other dogs as well as helped us with behavioral cues. Archie stayed with Kyle and Trish for 10 days r recently. At 13, he was having some physical difficulties. They were so kind and caring to Archie, even feeding him and giving him water by hand. We are so grateful to them that we were able to get Archie and have him home before he passed.My husband and I highly recommend them for excellent care and love for dogs in their care.

I rescued the most amazing Black Lab last year🐾❤️ Crash was a challenge for me in the beginning, rescued out of my skill set and big, young and strong! Kyle gave him much needed exercise, and gave him the gift of socialization with other dogs! With that ease around other dogs, Crash and I journeyed into many activities together ( dock diving, scent work, I even taught him to get me a beer ☺️). We became our own pack. In December, I severely injured my knee…Captain Spish came to our rescue. He engaged crash when I could not! We remain grateful for the services that Kyle provides, and take great comfort in knowing that in times where I lack…Crash is well cared for by a trusted friend with a great pack!

Kyle aka Captain Spish has been working with my pit bull since he was about 1 year old. He has exceeded any and all expectations I had going into his behavior assessment and weekly pack walks. Now, my dog hasn't missed a day in almost 3 years. Not only do I enjoy the perks of my dogs better temperament, my dog also looks forward to his weekly trips as he has so much fun. At this point I trust and respect Kyle to prepare & teach my boy how to handle stress situations, meeting new people, new dogs, and new environments. Kyle has a gift working with dogs. He met my dog Kobe (who generally was not good with strangers) and Kobe immediately loved him and brought his toys out to play. Kyle knows how to react to negative dog behavior in a way that will teach dogs positive behavior, and he is not cruel in the way that he teaches. He treats dogs with respect and truly knows why the bad behavior is occurring and knows how to treat it. I think dogs can feel the respect and love he has for them and they respond to him accordingly.Anytime I have reached out to Kyle to see how Kobe is doing he immediately responds and even sends pictures and videos and you can see how happy he is.I would definitely recommend Kyle (Captain Spish) to anyone needing help with their dog's behavior. You can know that Kyle will treat the dog well and teach them a lot during their time together. You're dog will appreciate it!

Please do not hesitate to reach out to the Captain with any questions and/or for assistance with your dog. If he doesn't have your answer, which is highly unlikely, he will put you in touch with someone who does. What a fabulous resource!!The Captain was the only reason my elderly mother was able to keep her two dogs with her at home for as long as she could. He not only included her dogs into “The Pack” for walks several times a week, but was so instrumental with their socialization through his patience and unique techniques. He made sure the dogs were safe and healthy. He would even take them to the vet whenever necessary and follow up afterwards.When the time came for my mother to leave her home for health reasons, and move in with me and my wife out of state, Kyle really stepped up to the plate. What to do with her dogs? She would not be able to take them with her for various reasons and no other family was in the area. It was early in the pandemic, animal shelters were closed, with few if any other options available. Except for one. Captain Spish! Kyle offered to take ownership of the dogs and move them into his home and care for them along with all of his own dogs. Wow!! Who does that?Obviously I highly and unequivocally recommend Kyle to anyone in need of support and for assistance with their dog. Do yourself a favor. Give him a call!!

I would highly recommend Kyle. Our first dog was overly protective and reactive towards strangers. Kyle was patient with him and they developed a great relationship. He was able to take him out for socialization with other dogs, he often helped us with boarding as well. When we got a puppy we knew that early socialization and behavior correction were needed. We called Kyle right away.

Kyle is an amazing trainer and an amazing person. He helped me so much with my anxiety ridden dog. I don’t trust anyone else to be able to handle my dog when I am out of town. He is a wealth of behavior information and I learn something every time I talk to him. Anxiety in a dog is a tough thing to deal with, especially when the owner (me) also has anxiety, Kyle has helped me be able to handle it better. My dog definitely loves Kyle which also makes me feel better as I know my dog trusts him. I’m glad I found out about Kyle and his techniques for helping dogs with issues.

I have known Kyle for about a decade and seeing his ability to read animals still amazes me. He can understand their body language and find the answers that are needed to help them have more peace and comfort in their homes, and lives. If anyone ever tells me they are having any issues with their dog(s), I always tell them to reach out to him. I personally know and see him give all he can to every client he has. He loves all the dogs as though they are his own, and their people like they are his family and friends.

We truly cannot say enough good things about Captain Spish (aka Kyle). He's been working with our Maggie Moo with pack therapy for 3 years now, but we first met him 4.5 years ago when we first rescued Maggie and wanted an educated evaluation of how she'd do with our cats. Turns out she loves the cats (Captain Spish said she'd be fine with them)....the cats pretend she doesn't exist.Maggie is a rescue and while we don't know her backstory, she has obvious signs of abuse and potential dog fighting exposure. Sometimes she's fine with other dogs. Sometimes she's not.Captain Spish comes twice a week to take Maggie on her pack therapy outings. They've done wonders for her. For example: before Captain Spish, our vet would make us wait until no other dogs were in the waiting room before we could bring Maggie in or check her out. Now she can be in there even when other dogs are around. She'll still whimper at times and do some quiet barks, but we can take her to outdoor events where there are lots of dogs, whereas before we couldn't even consider it. Maggie came across a neighbor's dog one day, and turns out Maggie and Skittles play very well together.From a business side of things, Kyle is completely reasonably priced, communicates well, and is always accommodating of our varying schedule.10/10 would recommend to a friend, or a stranger

He is informative about his techniques and teaches you to better understand the behavior and the tools needed for when he is not around.He truly cares about your dog as if it where one of his own. Captain Spish really helps our Greyhound Lurcher adoption group assess dogs when we need an expert eye especially when we don't have much history or context. The careful, thoughtful and insightful behavior evaluations given really aid us in finding the right home for those hounds; opinions on how well they react to, socialize and interact with other dogs is particularly useful in setting up a hound for a successful adoption and integration into a new home! This young man comes to our home and picks up our 2 sometimes 3 dogs, and he is absolutely wonderful with our dogs. They enjoy going out with him on the walks and even for the puppy she is excited when he comes. If I can give Captain Spish more stars I would give him 100 stars. I recommend that if you have a dog allow Captain Spish him opportunity ro help you with your pet. Captain Spish also has very reasonable rates. Thank you Kyle.

Kyle is very knowledgeable and has a real understanding of dogs. He was very helpful with my rescue dog. She didn’t like other dogs but he encorperated her into his pack and she loved him. I don’t think he has ever met a dog he didn’t like or or one he couldn’t help. I highly recommend Kyle.

Kyle (Captain Spish) has been working with Izzy for approximately 4 years. Izzy is a mixed breed from a rescue. She loves being with Kyle and her animal friends in the pack. Going for pack walks with Captain Spish has been great for our dog Danny. The socialization with other dogs is definitely helpful and it also helps him burn some energy! Kyle is very responsive to messages and easy to work with.

Kyle worked wonders with both of our adopted shelter dogs. One was withdrawn, the other, overly rambunctious. He definitely cares about animals and I can tell they feel comfortable with him. My wife calls him the “Dog Whisperer”. Would definitely recommend!

Kyle has been a true blessing for me and my German shepherd- Hank had some serious social anxiety and Kyle worked through that with him- he goes on pack therapy walks with multiple dogs and gets along with all of them and Kyle’s dog kobun is Hanks very best friend.
