Everyone was amazing! Janet found us a last minute cancel for Labor Day and I’m SO glad we got to visit!! Hot, private showers are a plus, the campground helpers were so friendly and helpful too! Overall a quieter KOA. Peaceful and relaxing. If you like loud, obnoxious music and falling over drunks, this is NOT your place. Quiet time is at 11pm but many campers still hung by their fire pits and listened to music at a respectable volume to well past 1am. The spots are larger than most and offer a nice distance between sites. Mini golf, a nice game room, horseback riding and ATV trails also available along with a pool!A clean pool. Wow! Book your trip!

Great little campground outside of Canton. Premium sites are beautiful and include a grill, patio set, two benches and an awesome egg chair. Nice big pool, but it is open to the public too. My only complaint is that several of the seasonal sites fly through the campground, even though there are signs posted to slow down.

This KOA was surprisingly good. We haven't had much good luck in KOAs in the past. The sites were fairly level, although quite the tilt backing in off the steep roads. I think the biggest downsides is the lack of upkeep on the playground. No mulch or anything and since our stay was fairly rainy it was just a huge mud pit. The other thing about the playground is the broken and rotted wood on some of the equipment. This could easily be a 5 star if it wasn't for that.

My wife and i stayed here a few days in October 2022. We arrived late, and had some confusion as to where our site was. We had reserved a back in, and ended up in a pull through near the office. We called the next day and the owners we able to keep us the site we spent the night in instead of making us move. The bathhouse and restrooms were very nice and clean. Overall, we would stay here again if we are in the area. I would recommend to anyone planning to stay here to get a pull through site closest to the office. Some of the back in sites are on a steep hill and if you have a large RV it might get sketchy trying to back in especially without 4wd. Also be aware of some of the full time residents here. There were a couple of loud diesel trucks coming/going sometimes driving fast and late at night. I know it is probably tough running a campground and sometimes fulltimers are needed for revenue, but they can also drive way the weekenders and those just passing through.

We arrived at 10:30pm and discovered a leak in our rvs propane lines. Jamie, the camp staff handy man went out of his way to help us repair the leak and get heat back on our camper. Excellent, friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area.

8 of us spent a long holiday weekend here (from age 7 to 70+). We rented a cabin for 6 and had a trailer hooked up in a full hookup spot. The camp was very full for the holiday. We took the trail ride on horseback, rented the paddle boats and kayak and swam in the pool. 6 of us used the shower house. Everything was clean, well maintained (nothing was broken or leaked or smelly or anything 😳🎉) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The other people camping (and there were many from all over) were pleasant enough as well. I heard some words at the pool I told my youngest to ignore, but that was it. The campgrounds is fairly hilly, so there are some steep slopes when walking and driving. There are also lots of mature trees for shade. We aren't super experienced campers, and we survived and had a great time 🙂

This place is ideal for what we were looking for. It's conveniently close to my work, and is really nice sized for a family: big enough to have some of the bells and whistles, small enough to let the kids have a little freedom.Pros:-large pool, really well maintained-very friendly staff-decent camp store-activities such as wagon rides, karaoke, etc-lots of full hookup spots including cable-pony rides and horse rides! This was a big highlight for our kids. It cost a little extra, but it was worth it-miniature golf (extra $)-A game room where all the games were actually working-fishing pond: this is a must-have for my boys-reasonably priced, especially given the amenities-clean and well maintained bathroom/shower houses-The premium patio sites looked really nice! A table and chairs set with umbrella, a grill, and a hanging swing.Cons:-The campground is built on a hill, so some of the spots are not ideal. It depends on your setup-some of the grounds needed some better maintenance, like the miniature golf course. We'll definitely be back, in fact we booked our next trip here before we left!

This is a fun campground to stay at. My RV club members had our monthly meet-up here and enjoyed it. Some members went on the house back ride. The sites are spacious but gravel. The service was great and the staff helpful.

Not real experienced in the R.V. camping world. The staff were very nice and assisted in everyway possible. Weather was awesome, but even the KOA staff can't control the weather, however they did do a good job of making this weekend memorable. Our son and his family were with us, we had a great time and the grand kids really had a great time. This will be a campground to stay at again, awesome place and people.

Unfortunately, we had a very difficult spot to get into on a heavy incline. Our water line was also too far back and barely reached our rv. Pretty bad spot that shouldn't even be offered to bigger rigs. Verizon service good. Overall small decent KOA.

This is an older KOA but still nicely maintained. Some sites seem hard to get in and out of if you do not have a lot of towing/camper experience. They are not bad sites though. Their patio sites are very nice but they are very close together. Depending on where your outside table is you may feel like you are looking into the next camper. Our stay was very quiet. In fact we even extended our stay because we were enjoying it so much. The pool felt cold but was clean and very pleasant. We did drive to the Pool as it is not centrally located within the park. We visited Camp K9 and there is a great area for the dogs, the only downside is that the treatment plant is part of the fencing so it is not that quiet. We also played put-put, which is 1/2 price on Sundays. The course was fairly well maintained and a challenging one too. We did not use their bathroom facilities but we did see them actively maintaining them throughout our stay.

This place is really awesome. Great variety of activities, staff is awesome, and the layout is really good at giving everyone some level of privacy without isolating people from different areas. Never rented a cabin in a campground before but this is definitely something we would do again.

The camp and hosts were great. Not overcrowded, friendly neighbors, and a nice roomy pull thru. Hosts bent over backwards to accommodate. The ONLY negative was the dog who barked constantly for two days. Piercing bark. The dog was on a neighboring property about 50’ from the camp. Absolutely out of control. All night long.

My family has camped here several times in the last few years and have had good experiences. However, after today I’ll have to give this a one star for customer service. We had a very sick child and were looking to try and move a reservation online. In the process, we made an honest reservation mistake and accidentally booked double weekends. When I realized this I immediately called the office to cancel and was told I’d have to call the next day to speak with an owner. So today I called and spoke to Chris. I was hoping for some leeway with our original reservation given our situation and I was willing to move to any weekend, no cancel. However she informed me with the late notice that they would just cancel and keep my deposit of 90 bucks. I’m not sure this was the best business move but ok…i can accept this because I do realize they have a policy. However, what I can’t accept is being charged another 10 dollars to cancel our double reservation we made by mistake when I called immediately after the mistake was made. Honestly that’s just poor customer service all the way around for just 10 dollars. I did clarify with her that I had called as soon as the mistake was made and her response was “no you will be charged the 10.” Not to mention the owner was not nice or empathetic towards our situation in any way over the phone. I asked her if there was any way they could work with me at all and she said “yea no.” I’m really disappointed in this as we have camped here in the past and this campground is on our list to visit every summer. The amount they charge for their sites warrants good customer service and since they can’t provide that we won’t be back.Update based on owner comments: if you reread my review I understand losing our deposit on our original reservation. However, the 10 dollars was charged on the reservation that we made by mistake and immediately called to cancel…which I was told to call back on the next day. Yes the reservation we made by mistake was on a holiday but again, I called immediately. So to act like our mistake cost you money or another reservation and to imply that we should feel lucky because you could have charged me more is what I’m referring to as poor customer service. It’s a bummer these days that a simple mistake that you immediately professionally communicate about costs you any amount of money at all. But so be it.

The bathrooms were clean and close by, the staff was very friendly, and it was very quiet. The negatives were that our spot was a back in on a hill on gravel which was hard to maneuver. When we were leaving we made a left hand turn out of our spot and almost slid backwards on the gravel. It was definitely scary.

What a great KOA! While this particular location does not have all the activities some of the other KOAs have, they have plenty to do and never seem over crowded. The pool is the perfect size for the campground and the kids love the playground. They refer to this KOA as the tire KOA due to the large play tires in the playground. The staff and the owners are always very polite and welcoming. They get to know everyone including the dog! Tucker Calhoun's family will be back for many more visits!

This was a pretty nice KOA. There were tons of different activities for adults and children. The staff was very friendly and engaging. The grounds were well maintained and clearly labeled. The pool area, pond, store are nice. Our family did the horseback riding and it was great, a highlight of the trip. The putt-putt isn't really maintained, but it was cheap fun for the family. The grill and furniture supplied for the patio were great and so was the fire ring. It was very easy to cook on and use. The only downside was that there was quite a bit of theft while we were there. Our cooler was stolen from right next to our door, a ladies fit bit from the pool, a neighbor's hitch, and more. The normally friendly staff didn't have much to say about it. The +$250 loss for us really sucked, but it was a lesson learned. Overall, I would recommend this place.

We stayed there and paid good money for 8 people . Beds are hard as a rock . Was a nice cabins unit until while cooking on the stove a roach come out of it . And then when told front desk they said well did you get it . I said no . So when I went back to the cabin the roach came back onto the stove I caught it and took it to them to show I was not laying and one lady said that it was a lighting bug NOT and bugs are to be expected when out in the woods. We'll let's just say we will not be r eturning anytime soon. . Save your money.people pay enough to stay there get an exterminator and stop using bug spray from a store

For a couple of older folks it was alittle hard no get around. Everything is up or down hills and very spread out. To get to the pool you had to leave the park and go into another entrance. The view at my site was a concrete barrier wall. I think for the younger crowd it is a nice place, for the elderly or physically challenged you may need to drive everywhere you go. I enjoy walking around the campgrounds but unable to here.

Not happy we weren't informed upon booking that the pipeline is literally going though the campground & our site was right beside it. They work m-f 7-5 loud machinary & thick dust. We got moved up the hill to walk out of our camper slipping downhill on gravel. When I called woman was rude & told me I could leave. I expected an apology for not being forth coming & maybe a discount. Definitely not worth what we paid. There was a black nasty smelling substance on the Lake we suspect was oil as my dog jumped in & came out covered in nasty stuff & smelled like oil. I notified staff so hopefully they check into it. There is also a huge landfill on the hill you can smell. We came for the horse back riding. Great price & experience. The girl was sweet & the ride lasted just long enough. The horses looked a little sickly throwing up water but was told it was from clover. Was only cool thing since I'd never rode before.

First camping trip in 20 years. Went with wife and a friend to KOA near East SpartaAccidently set up in site without electric and water late at night. Management cut us a break as we didn't want to move the tent and ended not needing the utilities. Big plus.Camp reopened the pool as the weather was very warm. Another plus, flexibility in accommodating guests.Putt putt source in fine enough condition. Needs some repairs including two blocked PVC tubes.Clean and well maintained bathrooms and showers. And hot water!Small store has the basics. Wish it had diet Pepsi, though.Place offers game room and horse riding and ducks, none of which we decided not to do as we were in Canton for other reasons.Place accommodates principally trailers. Perhaps 5 tent sites with utilities, another 5 without utilities and 1 cabin.Rates were reasonable.I will return to this KOA.

Great campground. Very nice staff and great amenities. Been here 3 months so far while traveling for work and ha e had no issues so far. If I were to pick something to gripe about, itwould be that their internet couldbe a bit faster. Most people coming here are camping and getting away from those things, but staying here longer term is a bit different.
