Best meats! Friendly and helpful employees. I love Carpenter's Market. Meat prices are comparable to bigger stores like krogers but other items may be more costly. Worth the convenience. Lunch meat and cheeses are no more expensive. The owner is very helpful.

Great fresh meat!!! All the people that work here are super nice really helpful and just small town loving people. I'm always stopping by to grab something to throw on the grill. Carpenters has a variety of things from produce to afterschool snacks! Baking items and even some office essentials. Small town store that's been here for ever and always greets its customers with a smile!. Shop local support mom and pop stores and check out what carpenters has to offer!. 😘

Absolutely love this little market! And the kid's at the meat counter are very friendly and always greet you with a smile and hello. I grew up going to this little market and no matter what time a day it's always a friendly atmosphere. They have the best meat and cheese. And I have to say that Carpenter's Market has ham salad that's outta this world! Everyone should stop by and try it you won't be disappointed.

This is a great village market in Somerset, Ohio. They have been in business for years, and they know how to treat their customers right. The employees are friendly, and that doesn't seem to matter whether you shop there regularly or once in a while. Their meat department is top notch and the prices are competitive with the big box stores, and you get better cuts of meat at Carpenter's.If you are in the area, stop in and give them a try!

Great selection of meats which I think is really their specialty. Plenty of frozen foods as well as beers and other general grocery items. I would not go here if you're looking for produce as that's very hit or miss. Not necessarily their fault, I just don't think customers in the area buy a lot of produce, sadly.

Great little store to get the stuff you need in a pinch without driving 20-30 minutes to a bigger store. Bit pricey, but after all it is a small town market. Great selection of meat's, beer, wine, ice cream, cheese's, etc.. the produce however is hit and miss. Parking can be a bit tricky sometimes but not too bad.

Although I had a bad experience with one employee of this store, I was able to speak with the owner and explain and he was very kind and apologetic. Except for that experience, I otherwise enjoy shopping here and being able to conveniently grab items I’ve forgotten on larger shopping trips. I really like their chicken salad and other deli items too.

I love that they are expanding on the food selection and getting some speciality items in. Need abit of revamping in the bread department and the fruits n vegetables. Overall a great place to go in a pinch. Always friendly, helpful people.

If you want amazing fresh meat this is worth the drive!Just avoid large tubs of parkay butter I bought one two days ago... after catching a container dated July 2019... I didn't have my glasses and miss read the one I picked up... I bought it march 17th sell by date was like feb 22 2020. Will use quickly so I'm ok with it but I love every employee very friendly folks!! On live stories like these!!! Hard to find, I drive about an hour to shop! How many walmarts do I shop....?NONE!!!

Great place, family owed and operated hometown store. This is the foundation of the American dream. If you are in town or passing through, stop by Carpenter's place to buy your snakes instead of the national chain gas station. The profits stay in the community and doesnt go outside the country.
