We had a very good first experience here. Our senior dog is getting less tolerant of kennels but she didn't so well here. Followed the handler back with no issue and seemed very happy and not stressed when we picked her up. I like that there's an option on whether they interact with the other dogs or not depending on your dogs needs and temperament. I would gladly recommend to anyone in need of a place to safely keep your dog while doing non-dog activities in the Mohican area. I only wish there was a location like this closer to Akron!

After a less than desirable experience at another local kennel we wanted to give Troutman a try. We were so happy we did! Our Golden retriever seemed to like the experience and all aspects of our interactions with the kennel were exceptional. They will definitely be first on our list next time.

First time we had to board our dogs and they loved it! Our lab enjoyed digging in the dirt without getting in trouble 😂 While we were away I didn't worry one bit, I knew they were in good hands. Will definitely be taking them back!

I have taken my little pup here several times for doggy daycare during the day. It’s been so great! He is always tired out when he comes home, he gets to run around outside and play with other dogs his age/size. The staff is always so polite and welcoming. I love bringing him! And highly recommend it!

Dogs look Great & appear to have had a positive experience. Just suprised that it was cash or check only. My daughter went to pick them up & had to leave &drive to an area bank (& got charged an annoying service fee too)

My dogs love going to Troutman! They have so much fun playing with their "friends" and come home tired and content. When we go out of town I know they'll be well cared for and get plenty of exercise. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Nice folks. Very clean and well-run kennel. They take special care of our little dog. They take the dogs out several times a day. And they show a lot of love and affection and attention to them while they are there. I feel really good about keeping our dog here.

Always takes great care of our dogs. Good prices. Multiple dog discounts. You can have your dog stay in different areas of the facility. They also take them out to run and play frequently. Highly recommended.

Had good experience the first time with them, dropped my 2 dogs off to them recently over the weekend. Put a deposit down in January to reserve a room for them so they could go outside as they please. Long story short, my wife goes to pick the dogs up and notices the bill is higher and the room the dogs were in was not the right one. She asked the girl working at the time what the T meant under the the room type and the girl explained that it was a temporary day care room and they had to go there since they overbooked and their were too many big dogs. We paid for the room that the dogs can roam outside when they want. When asked about that, the employee said that they were taken outside twice a day. This to me is unacceptable. They should have called to tell us they were overbooked (which is not my fault since we put deposit down in January). This way we could have said yes this is fine or no we would like to pick our dogs up and get our money back. With working in a business that deals with successful customer service, this would definitely not been the route I would have taken. All it takes is a phone call sometimes.

I was so disappointed when my dog came home with kennel cough. All clients should have been warned that their was a dog in puppy daycare with the virus and yhe facility should have been closed down for cleaning. I now have more vet bills for medicine. Such a disappointment for such good service.

Amazing place. I don't use the kennels or doggy daycare but I do have my Christmas pictures done there. They do a amazing job and the whole staff is very polite and caring. I would use them if I ever go on vacation. Great place! Nice and clean!
