Had a emergency with one of our three fur babies on a Saturday morning and was able to get an appointment right away which put my mind at ease. We are new to the Shelby area and had not needed the services of a vet before that morning. The staff were all helpful and courteous and the office and rooms were very clean and organized. The vet diagnosed the problem right away and gave her a shot of antibiotics and we were out the door for under $100. I was very pleased with the entire experience and would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Dr. Knox is a good man as well as doctor. He has treated all three of my cats and worked with one after a spinal injury until he gained mobility back and is able to live a fairly normal and comfortable life. I could not ask for anything more from him or his staff - they are all caring and compassionate people who seem to love their job. I've always felt his pricing is fair and he has always let us work on payments if we needed to.

Excellent staff, very friendly and accommodating to our pets needs. Reasonable and fair pricing. The office and exam rooms are nice and clean. We are very well pleased with the veterinary care here. Both our dogs have had surgery for tumor removals. One in particular had to be a challenging procedure because of the placement and size of the mass. Dr Knox did an amazing job, he added happy years to our girls life. We've also had 3 cats spayed here and will probably have more as we live in the country and not everybody is a reasponsible pet owners and drop cats off at our drive. I could find spaying cheaper but I appreciate the care the animals receive here so it's worth it to us. The facility isn't modern but like I said clean and sanirary. I highly recommend The Shelby Animal Clinic.

If I could leave less than one star, I would. I have two dogs that were abandoned at my house, they're licensed and taken care of now, but one is very old. I asked if there were new patient openings, she said no. I explained the situation, and her exact words were "You shouldn't have waited so long, or just wait for him to die". I'm in shock at this level of unprofessionalism.

We took our dog there to get his toenails cliped. Vet is very nice and did a great job. They kept my dog very calm and it was a peaceful experience for him :)

I have been here a few times before and I don’t recall this place being so disgusting. I visited this office today and I left gagging and almost throwing up in the parking lot. It smelled like cat urine to the extreme. There were multiple office cats just hanging out in multiple locations. I am deciding to drive to a vets office further away. I would not suggest this place to anyone.

They say on the answering machine that you can not leave a message and yet they are suppose to help with emergencies. The web site says they are only there once a week but I have seen cars there. Also I lost my precious little Brodi because they couldn't take the time for him. All vet's are hard to get in this area. Dr. Mulher in Bucyrus is available almost all the time. He is a good vet.
