I love the Shadyside Riesbecks location! It’s always nicely stocked and clean. All of the staff are super friendly and welcoming. One of the best bakery items and delis in the area.

Nice little store. The employees are helpful and friendly. A few of the items are high in price, but for the most part very affordable. There are a lot of items to choose from, even though the store is a lot smaller than their Bridgeport and St. Clairsville stores. Most of their deli food is good, and they sometimes have good meat sales. Their parking lot is pretty big, so it's not hard to find a space. Like I said, it's a pretty good place for a small store.

Very polite staff that follow COVID protocol with little to no exceptions. Store is rarely crowded and the service is top notch. However i do recomend highly of knowing prior your visit They run their Ad in Sundays Times Leader you'll want to read through first to be sure of the dates that they become valid.

Only complaint is that their prices due tend to run a bit high but what do you expect from a small grocers. On the other hand their pharmacy and deli staff are amazing and worth shopping there just for that. They also have fresh cooked food daily that is really good.

Online it says Riesbecks is open until 9 p.m. I arrived just at 8:45 p.m. and needed 3 things and figured with 15 minutes I'll be in and out really quick. I arrived and the doors were still open, I was advised they were in the process of closing and half the lights were off and the milk shelves were all closed up. If this store starts closing down before 9 that's fine, I just think the times listed online need adjusted.

It is really nice local market. It is not the largest selection or cheapest price, but I think that is okay because you're getting greater customer service than if you go to a larger chain.Also, they're the only store that carries my tea!

They need to do something about the spoiled dairy products. I don’t know if it’s the vendor or if it’s because their coolers are ancient!? I bought French vanilla creamer recently within past three days and it was spoiled, but the date was good til Jun 2020 next time I’ll spend the gas and go to Walmart. In the past three months I have had horrible experiences with the dairy here. Management needs to fix it. Money down the drain taking chances buying here 😞 sad part is I live just two mins from the place. I don’t mind the small up charges to keep them in business as long as I’m not paying for spoiled foodNow- 11-24-22. I didn’t know my wife had already wrote a review, however ironically it was about spoiled food.Went to get popsicles from the freezer, however the boxes appeared to have been water damaged- appeared to be thawed out products. I should have thought twice before grabbing the lemon meringue pie and cheese cake. We found out on thanksgiving day that both pies were bad. I assume that either the freezer section at the store or the refer unit used to deliver went bad.

I would stop here more often if it weren't for the fried chicken smell that hangs heavily in the store...they need new exhaust fans in the kitchen or change the filters in them. My clothes and hair stink when I leave the store even if I just run in for a gallon of milk! Also, make sure you check the expiration dates on EVERYTHING you buy here...produce is often old. Prices are higher here than most places, but I don't mind due to the convenient location.Positives are convenient location, friendly staff (especially Mary! She is always making people smile!) and this is the only store that carries the Fleischmann's margerine sticks!!

I love the store because it is small and you dont have to walk a mile to the door! The down side I have gotten so many items that are expired for top prices.

I primarily use the pharmacy. You certainly want Isha and Robin. Clayton spends time playing solitaire and Martha seems to not want to be there.

They have very little and everything is so over priced it better to just go to Kroger or Walmart 6iyema cost like 75.I should went to Kroger or Walmart and payed 25-30 for the same thing.. Products always look old in the meet department.They have a horrible selection way over priced

Ed, their head butcher, is the best meat cutter in the ohio valley. You can gaurentee the best quality meat with Ed cutting it. He's always in the shadyside reisbecks. I know of alot of people who travel well out of there way for meat cut by him.
