What would be really nice if they ever stayed open until close. I understand places are short staffed, I’ve been here plenty of times and always saw multiple workers and this being the only “store” in Seville is getting old. I own a business, this is ridiculous

Couldn't get through half the store with the amount of merchandise on the floors. Some was not yet stocked items, the rest seemed like customers just dropped things and left it.

Honestly their staff could learn how to talk to people. I had my two year old with me buying a few things this morning and I scanned my items at the self check out completely missing the fact it doesn’t take cash so I say, “oh this doesn’t take cash does it.” And what I believe to be a manager maybe proceeds to say, “yeah just like the sign says.” I had my two year old CHILD with me I was paying attention to him all eyes on him my mistake for ringing up THREE items mistakenly in self check out mind you the store was not busy so it was not out of their way to help fix my mistake that I apologized for.

Retiring from management at UPS, I AM I AMAZED at the energy of this store and its staff! From Holly to Douglas, you feel welcomed and taken care of. I also want to shout out about the AWESOME remodel!Keep up the great work!

Worst service ever. I asked an employee named Holly about a specific item.. purina puppy chow in a box...she said they don't carry it. I was just up the road at the medina store... bought 10 boxes. I've been buying them at DG for years. years. She was just being LAZY!!!!!

“Closed to Restock” should really be its name as these words often hang on the door above the blank store hours sign . It’s nice to have the business in town but it seems it’s unexpectedly closed as much as open anymore.

I’m thankful to have this dollar general. So handy for a lot of household items ! Holly and Billy are so nice and helpful. Thanks Holly for running outside to give me my debit card when I left it in the machine. 🙂

They are often out of things and the staff is not usually friendly. But they are clean and well organized. I like that I can walk in and get what I need quickly. I also like their cute decor. Its inexpensive, and often looks like it came from a more expensive store.

The cashier that rang me up was incredibly polite, and actually had a smile on her face! Most people that work in retail hardly ever come to work in a good mood, or at least try to act like they want to be there.That kind of customer service is rare, and much appreciated!

I have to admit that the store had 2 items that I didn't expect them to carry. The store was busy but the staff was handling customers well. The aisles were crowded with new merchandise waiting to be placed on shelves. Cleanliness was good in spite of the heavily crowded merchandise. Overall a good experience.

Went to shop for cleaners today in the Dollar Isle, and was pleasantly surprised that they were pretty stocked. Everyone has been sick at the house so needed bleach, spray cleaners, and dish soap. Very happy to be stocked up again!!

I got what I needed, but the cashier, whos name was Elly, greeted the others in front & behind me, but never spoke to me until she said my total, and fyi, I am a Person of color & the other customers were White. I feel like she was rushing me out the store, to me that is very poor taste & I definitely took it as Prejudice. Every customer should be greeted with kindness & respect, not Ignored & rushed away, regardless what background they came from.

Well I'm used to stopping into dollar general market, so this location is super small to me, and pretty crammed. There were many abandoned " work carts" left by employees with product on them and no employees near by, so that was a obstacle to get around on top of the cramped isles. Seems like the touch pad uses for payment need replaced, I went to enter my phone number for digital coupons, and I froze up the system, cashier said, oh, yea, itll do that if u try to start it to soon....in which I ended up having to wait until everything was rang up. All in all, size and their technology could use a update but I love their digital coupons no matter what city I'm in.

So I just left this store and I was searching for African American products and couldn't find any. I politely went to the cashier and ask did they carry any, I was informed that don't carry and African American products. Whoa way to be diverse. I guess African Americans aren't really welcomed here.

I'm changing my review as this store is now closed more then it is open. Store was always a mess and is usually closed due to the lack of employees. They recently renovated the interior but I haven't been able to see it as every time I go by there its always closed.

I purchased a bunch of things xmas eve, i asked for a large plastic bag since cashier lady had NOT bagged foil pans, water or bleach she replied "No" ,, i would have even paid for it,, she was rude and tbh idk if in tiwn again i will go back or not!!Guy who was working w her was very helpful & friendly he was probably the only reason i would go back!!!

This review was for Miller's in Lodi, Ohio. Not the Dollar general!!!! Miller's they were rude in regards to my current health reasons refused to sell my family groceries... Because I cannot ware a face vale... AKA mask... AKA portable peetree dish... Never going back again... long time customer since 1985....

The Seville, Ohio Dollar General Store does NOT have consistent hours! The website says open till 10pm. I went at 1:30 p.m. and they were closed. Go at 7:30 p.m. closed... Usually will hang a hand written sign on door saying temporarily closed whenever they close early, but people think it's open because all the lights are on as if they are open!

The manager was a total jerk! I asked if they carried an item that could potentially be in a dollar general, and her exact response was, “we aren’t Wal-Mart.” And when I asked for a similar item she pointed and said it’s down there. There was no one else shopping and there was someone else working the counter. No excuse.

Seemed a bit crowded, but also they had a lot of stock and options, acceptable comprise.. Nice staff, had everything I was in there for and was able to easily get cash back (up to $40) with my purchase, saving me a trip to an atm..

Love this Dollar General! It is my favorite local DG Store with West Salem coming in at a close 2nd fav & Rittman being my 3rd favorite to shop at.I love the $1 isle at this store specifically! It seems to have the largest selection & is kept very well stocked, when compaired to other local DG Stores in, my opinion!The only thing that i can think of that would make this store better would be a larger building! DG Markets & to their similar stores are so much more roomy & easier to navigate with wider isles & spacious areas between the entryway, registers, & isles in general. That wouldbe much more practical when a person may be trying to manuver thru in a wheelchair. Public restrooms would also be a plus, not sure but i may have missed them if they are already available.

JJs apple pies I purchased were moldy. I took first fuzzy one I discovered (one bite gone) back to store/replaced it. Others had varying amount of mold either the pastry or the fruit filling was bad. Further checking seemed to indicate fresh thru 4/10 or 4/19.... the multi-dot print is barely legible..I really don't fault the store clerks..its taken me 3 hours to decipher it!

Never open the same hours as posted on the door. Recently cited for having locks on the emergency exit doors. Place needs to just close permanently.

lady with long brown hair was very disrespectful and rude. I went to ask her if they had cream of chicken and she very rudely said i’ll go check. i was blown away at how utterly disrespectful she was to me and my two children. i tried to get her name but she rudely sped walked away.

Found that this dollar General is to jammed packed. Not wheel chair friendly.It's not very clean.The clerks are friendly and helpful.Creston is about the same.
