Looks like a cute place to eat at from the outside, and is cute. Food is mediocre, super small servings with high prices.Waitresses don't know the difference between coleslaw and cottage cheese. For 2 "meals", 2 drinks, & 1 appetizer it was $30. My mushroom Swiss burger meal wasn't even served on a dinner plate, it was served on a salad plate. The appetizer was bigger than my meal. Should have just bought 2 appetizers.We won't be going back.

We got a Reuben and burger. Handcut fries were great. Good slaw too. Daily specials as well as homemade desserts. Nice staff.

This was the best liver and onions I have ever had. The only reason the restaurant didn't get 5 stars was, even though we were the 1st and only customers, service was very slow and my food had cooled down quite a bit by the time it was served.

This place is everything you could ask for in a tiny country town. Phenomenal food! Best I've had in a long time. My husband and I both got burgers, and the meat was seasoned perfectly. The fries are fair fries. What else could you ask for? We also got their deep-fried pickle spears... omgosh! Dill in the batter! Crispy crunch! I even asked if they needed waitresses bc I wanted to stay! If I could give more stars, I would. We will be returning!

A regular run of the mill diner. The staff is very attentive and does a great job. We thought it was all you can eat fish, but they done away with it. Again, the fish was alright though No complaintsKid-friendliness: There was children there and were treated very good

The fish was delicious. This is a good place to eat but a hard place to find a place to sit. They are pretty busy most evenings, especially over the weekends so arrive early and expect to wait for a table. There are usually only 3-4 people working (that I have seen) so the service is pretty slow too. If you go here, you really need to have patience....but if you can patiently wait it out, the food is pretty darn good.

Went there for breakfast and it was very good! The eggs were cooked as ordered, the bacon had a very smokey flavor, and the sausage gravy was excellent. This was well worth the money paid. Service was great! Sara (no "h") was perfect!

With a name like Cattlemans, you would expect beef would be on the menu. The restaurant is more of a diner. The prices are not bad. The service was slow with just a few running the restaurant. Organization and better fluidity to meal preparation to service should be improved. We had cheese sticks and Reuben bites that are mass produced. Both appetizers came to the table cold. The french fries seemed fresh cooked but overly oily. We had to chase waitress down for our bill. The food was average, but improvements in organization would lead to improvement in service. This would make this place a nice diner like restaurant worth returning to in a small town.
