A great place to visit. There are loads of animals ranging from goats to kangaroos and even ostriches. There is animal food available for purchase that feeds everyone! You could spend anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple hours here depending on if you enjoy just watching the animals like I do. It is an easy place to take the kiddos and it allows them to see some animals that they may never have seen before (like a Rhea).

It's a nice little petting zoo. We have been there a couple times. I have never previously had to pay for admission. This time is was $5 for admission and they seemed to be closing up pretty early in the day. The feed was reasonably priced. They had alot to see for just a small petting zoo.

A fun quick stop near the lake. You can feed the animals, and the staff is friendly and inviting. They have ostriches, kangaroos, goats, chickens, a cow they shot with a shrink ray, and pigmy goats too. Perhaps more! We stopped right as they were closing, and they invited us to go see the animals and told us about them. It’s a great quick stop to put on the to do list if you’re in the area!

If I could give it no stars I would have there is like 5 pens that's it. Pictures on site are very deceiving. It don't look like that at all.. worst 5 mins and waste of 30 dollar's of my life

Was originally looking for Lagoon Deer Park.My GPS led me here. I stopped with my daughter. No-one was there. Called the # on the box to pay with credit card and get 2 buckets of feed.Kangaroos, goats, and some chickens were in the pens. Kangaroos seemed in a bit of rough shape.Could only feed and pet them thru the cages.Walked around to the other side of the barn and saw there were different animals further back all in a single pen (a llama, a deer, more goats)Could not feed or pet them.

If I could give this a half point I would. We were there end of August, last week. No one was there. Cost to enter on your honor but there were signs that said $5 a person and another was $3 a person. Feed was expensive. Few animals, and they were common animals. There were 7 children and 7 adults and we were in and out in maybe 15 minutes. NOT worth the stop.

This seemed like a fairly abandoned petting zoo as there was no staff around. One sign read $3 per person and another said $5 per person so it was a bit confusing. There were chickens, a couple ostriches/rhea, kangaroos seen from a distance, goats, a couple deer, a sheep, and a cow. Most were only seen from a distance - I would guess they would come up to be pet if you paid for a bucket of feed (which seemed to be very overpriced). All in all, it was pretty frustrating and my kids were disappointed.

Our original intent was to go to Lagoon Deer Park but for whatever reason, my GPS said we arrived. We didn’t realize we were at Wild Acres. Regardless, we stopped and there was a female attendant there. We paid $18 total…$3/person plus $12 for a bucket containing fruits and veggies. We thought $12 for a bucket of food was overpriced. We immediately noticed we were the only people there and the animal enclosures were small. The animals didn’t look happy. Also, it wasn’t set up like a traditional petting zoo - you can only pet them through the fence when you’re feeding them but that’s it. The llama looked miserable and not interested in us being there with food. I guess we were expecting more animals but for what we paid, it was okay. Just a heads up to anyone going to visit, it takes roughly 30-45 mins max. We saw kangaroos, chickens, cow, goats, emus, a llama and that was it. Again, you can pop in and out in 30 mins. Next time, we hope to go to our original destination, which is Lagoon Deer Park.

What a cool place to visit! We come to the area for fishing and waterparks. After finding Wild Acres Ranch, our family has frequented this place for the last five or so years. We love observing animals and nature, but what we love so much about Wild Acres Ranch is how intimate it is. Not only can we get closer to most of the animal collection, but we can feed deer, pet a camel on the nose, interact with dozens of goats and sheep. Every time we visit we can count on people friendly animals. The wide array of animals are well kept, well fed, and appear very happy. The pens are clean, and I was amazed at how few flies there were - my wife hates bugs. (When talking to one of the senior staff, they showed me a fly mist system they have built into the pens - very cool!) There is clear signage to help you have a family safe experience as well. This year they have added a lot more parking, gravel, animal pens - and had photo opportunities - what a cute unicorn! We will be visiting for years to come.

I stopped by the other day after finding out Deer Park was not open and It appeared I was the only person visiting (or maybe even there) at the time. I wanted to feed the animals but didn’t have any cash so I texted their number on the board to no response until a phone call over 30 minutes later when I was gone and already quite a distance ($12 for essentially 3 carrots and an apple anyway so probably for the best). There were plenty of signs to warn me not to take the food without paying first so no feeding the animals it was. I would’ve got some of the goat milk, but that along with the other products that were advertised weren’t to be seen, just a pile of pricey wood. One of the ostriches was scraping and pecking at corn husks on the ground the whole time which was the main reason I wanted to get food, I really hope he or others are not primarily fed via visitors. I walked around the whole area to see if I could see anyone working to get any sort of help or answers but nothing. I’m usually pretty good about giving places benefit of the doubt but this gave off major roadside attraction vibes.

I wish we had read reviews before stopping. My kids (ages 2-8) were underwhelmed by the amount of animals, and most of them were common animals (who hasn't seen goats and chickens?). $5 per person was outrageous in my opinion for what we got. We were there maybe 15 minutes, and that was with seeing all the animals twice. No employees to be seen, looked like it was just someone's farm along the road honestly.

Not very many animals and nobody there to tell you where they are. It was on the honor system we put our $ in the red box and looked around. Not impressed the kangaroo wouldn't come out but we had seen him from the road. There's no giraffe, no zebra, no horses, and no smaller animals like rabbits or guinea pigs.
