DISTURBING--Couldn't explain price matching. Allowed another customer to threaten me. Even allowed him to park his car in front of the store on the sidewalk. All I did was ask questions which I couldn't get a straight answer on. Instead I was asked to leave and was intimidated with threats of contacting the police. If I wouldn't have been calm and just left the manager would have had no problem watching a fist fight or worse in front of the store in the street. All over your policy which no one could explain. I will never walk in there again. The other customer had no right. He's lucky cool heads prevailed. Might I add he had a buddy with him waiting outside for me. Lovely

West Marine Sandusky clearly lacks leadership! Thanks for the 45 mile round trip ride to fix the issue with our Pettit marine paint ...that was a result of West Marine. We received a " try to have a nice day" in response to their lack of customer service and a complete fail!

Yes, this is not a cheap place to buy marine equipment, supplies, parts etc. You can find almost all of it cheaper elsewhere. But here you have people who will help you get what you need. I personally have only dealt with two of the men that work here. One is super friendly and talkative, the other is such a grump. He knows his stuff, but he seems almost annoyed with my presence any time I am there. Especially with my daughters. It's not like we run through the store disrupting things. It is so odd. I would give 5 stars if not for him.

The only downtown boating supply store.A little bit of maintenance and repair items with a selection of boating necessities.They also have a nice little clothing line and accessories. There's catalogs for ordering nonstocked items.The Port Clinton store is bigger and has a better selection of stocked products. Which is about 20 minutes away. 😎

Had parts on hold and called twice to make sure they still had them on hold for me , but when I came to pick them up they had sold them. Had to go over to Port Clinton to get them. Very professional over there will make the extra trip to when I need other items.

Only one associate in the store took forever to answer the phone. Then when I was in the store the phone ringing off the hook while the associate was helping me. They did have what I needed though.
