Yesterday I watched a cashier walk outside with no jacket and a huge line of customers (after calling for help) just to help an elderly lady put her pet food in her car! Always appreciate them when I stop by!!

Had one of the most unprofessional and disrespectful encounters I have ever had, from Cory, a dog trainer. I (the customer) even tried to calm the employee down, asked him if I was being rude or disrespectful to him in any way. He said I was not, and immediately continued to overtalk and ignore me when I attempted to ask a follow up question.I have been a Petco customer for decades, and will never again visit ANY Petco store, and will gladly direct anyone I know away from them.Hopefully, anyone who reads this will appreciate it, and value their own self-worth and dignity and go elsewhere.

The associate was very helpful. She showed me the best dog food for my dog. Once I got home and gave my dog the food. She loved the dog food. I guess I will continue to feed her that dog food from PETCO.

This is where I got my Phoenix Sunrise. I give 4 out of 5 due the lack of bird products. Lack of Lafeber's pellet tubs, not many food options that are healthy more unhealthy like sunflower seed and many foods with dyes added. Customer service always been pleasant.

Was in the Sandusky Ohio Petco last evening and had to deal with a VERY Unprofessional Employee Named Bryce. Not a Customer service type of Employee AT ALL. I asked to speak with the Store Manager, and he stated he was the Night Manager. I can not believe anyone would give him that position. Been coming to PETCO for years spending lots of money for the pets there, and Employees have been nice in the Past and helpful. But I have moved my business to Pet Supplies Now because of Bryce. Not a Good Selection to make to have him in charge at night of your store. Very BAD attitude!!!

I don’t like petco in general because of how they treat animals. Specifically birds. I’ve had experiences with cockatiels before but when I went to this petco I got a new cockatiel, the employee who helped me was super nice and was also a cockatiel owner, what they failed to mention was that the birds wings were clipped. Which should NEVER be done to a bird. I ended up calling once I found out on my own that the birds wings are clipped and the lady on the phone told me “the vendors clip their wings for the birds safety”. For the birds safety?…YOU’VE got to be kidding me.

They sell you sick birds without telling you, then you get attached just to watch them pass, I do not suggest you get your animals there as they do not know what they are talking about or properly take care of the animals they have. I had to watch my two birds die only a few days after having them...rip marrow an hunnson.

I had my pure bread pup in from grooming thinking it was going to be a good experience since my other pure bread was there a few days prior and Courtney did a beautiful job on grooming my youngest Miniature Schnauzer. But today was a big mess. My older Miniature Schnauzer went in and they were to groom him the same way as the younger one. But the Groomer Tayor has no business grooming Miniature Schnauzer Breed. His brows were about shaved off, his beard is gone and his nails were never finished. Then when I went to pick him up they tell me I can't bring him back cause he bit Taylor. I said that I find that very hard to believe cause he has NEVER BIT anyone. I told her the groomer had to of done something to upset him for him to bite. Then I check out and they still had the nerve to still charge me $75 and asked me if I wanted to tip the groomer and I said nope not at all. So if you have a special cut for a certain breed be sure you make sure they know what they are doing. Cause Taylor doesn't know how to cut a Miniature Schnauzer. Good luck to those that try there for grooming. They have lost my business for sure.

We love heading to petco everytime we are in town! It's always very clean and organized and we almost always find a good sale! The fish are healthy and the help is knowledgeable. Our aquariums are flourishing.

Tried to call the store but an employee hung up on me yesterday. Original issue: tried to place an order online and through the phone. Order was suppose to be fulfilled by Sandusky Petco and sent to a person in Willard ohio but order was canceled by the store. Outsourcing ordering and then wasting a customer's time. One star.

Incredibly clean and organized, awesome atmosphere, very polite employees, and amazing care for the animals in-store! Decided to visit while in the city and was amazed by how nice everything was. Morgan was also very knowledgeable about the animals and was great to talk to. It is obvious she cares a great deal about the animals, and she was very friendly and nice. I definitely recommend for all pet owners.

Good place, had what I needed for my dog. I feed her the Whole Hearted with grain. Since I travel for work, I get the 5lb bags so I can change up the flavors so my dog Briscoe doesn't get bored with her food.

Did you know they secretly charged you for the plastic bag they put your purchase in? I was watching the cashier scan my items and noticed that in between scanning my items she scanned something down low, next to the bottom of the bag. I asked her what that was that she scanned and she said they charge .10 cents per bag. Now obviously that amount is not a big deal but when you are not letting customers know that you are charging them for a bag, that's just kinda BS. I had reusable bags out in my car, had I known, I could've brought one in with me. Just seems shady the way they went about sneaking a scan to charge me for a bag. She aasnt going to tell me if I hadn't asked. Just disappointing. I thought this store was better than that.

The staff at the Sandusky Petco is great. It’s not just a job to them some it’s also their hobby at home which makes more knowledgeable than a person who is just there for a job.
